i think you're confusing the advanced tier variant that can hold 2 targets, for the actual prototype swarm. the prototype (wirykomi i think it's called) will fire a sixth missile per volley, so it's a solid upgrade.

this info might be outdated by now but: Radar/spotting actually works on a visual basis for dropsuits. as in, a dropsuit can only put something on the map if it's LOOKING at it. with the signature stats affecting whether or not even that works, ...
