I've destroyed a couple ships while trying to do map overview, happens with lavs too, you will ship/lav with just random start moving across the map like the wind is taking you, best to stay out of vehicles when looking at map =)

this is a camera glitch that has been reported dozens of times. Usually happens when you are near a vehicle and it causes the camera to glitch out, your body is not actually moving, just the camera, you can be killed =)
