101. Why use damage mods (even pre 1.8) - in General Discussions [original thread]
I think you guys are over attributing your damage output to The mods. 10% more damage isn't going to lower ttk much at all. If a gun does 600 dps it's going to kill a 600hp suit in 1 second. Adding 10% to that gets you to .91. Meanwhile if that...

102. Why use damage mods (even pre 1.8) - in General Discussions [original thread]
But how much time are you really going to cut into TTK with 10-20% more dmage. For most encounters you are talking 1, MAYBE 2 less shots? Where as with shield mods you are buying yourself like 3-5 more shots min(aside from snipers)

106. Again with the revives - in General Discussions [original thread]
Agreed. There is zero negative to it. The only argument against it is "LOL GO BACK TO COD FOR KDR" But if someone doesnt care about KDR, why care if the death is counted or not? Theres no downside to this change.

107. Why use damage mods (even pre 1.8) - in General Discussions [original thread]
Looking at the numbers, it makes very little sense to use damage mods. Even currently. Complex shield extenders give you 99 shield. Which means for any suit less than 990 ehp, this gives you more than 10% boost to health. For most suits this giv...

108. Semi-Solution to "Red-Line Sniping" - in General Discussions [original thread]
0 wp earned inside the redline. 0 time counted towards occuring SP or ISK while inside the redline. Those two things sort of solve the issue (and the MCC AFK issue)

109. Again with the revives - in General Discussions [original thread]
Again it comes down to this. Regardless of your feelings on if KDR matters, it does to a decent chunk of people. Therefore, having revives save a statistical death would encourage more use of injectors which would be good for the game.

112. Again with the revives - in General Discussions [original thread]
There is zero reason to have it count as a death. Fact, a lot of folks do care about kdr. Fact if you let revving save a death on the stats it would encourage squadmates and friends to focus of revving eachother more due to the kdr focus. That...

Because everyone realized a while ago that everyone needs to spec forge to have any chance of fighting back a tank stomp. It's not "oh fany forge gun looks good" it's "yeah still need forge for an AV build, oh well"

ScR makes sense. You nerf it too much and you run the risk of causing overheats before players can kill thier target even if they don't miss. A 10% nerf to the Scr is probably more of a pain than a 15 to RR or cr because it'll increase your likely...
