442. LAVs, Tank whiners and AV in general. - in General Discussions [original thread]
More and more I read about people who specced into vehicles whining about various things. Recently its this bogus claim that they are using LAVs to hit players because their vehicle skills are useless. All of this is BS, but it made me think about...

443. Why the heck do we have headshots exactly? - in General Discussions [original thread]
It depends on the gun. Snipers and Scrambler pistols have a HUGE headshot bonus. Pistols are 4.5, i dunno what snipers are, but above 2 i think. Other guns just have 1.5. With Scrambler rifles this is applied after the 20% bonus to shields, so a ...

444. Why the heck do we have headshots exactly? - in General Discussions [original thread]
Ill say that because of the outbreak of concussions and head trauma in the NFL back on earth in the early 21st century, shield manufacturers recognized the only way to protect the brain was to 100% reduce any impact to the head. Thus it uses more ...

For gameplay purposes. Locational damage makes gameplay a lot better. Go run around with a scrambler pistol and headshoot fools. It's the best thing ever.

446. Uprising Infantry Weapon Tier List - in General Discussions [original thread]
Like I said, I cant think of 1 infantry that has ever walked away from a locus nade with any shield left. Heavies walk away with armor, but they would with flux too. Equipment? Ok, I guess thats nice, didnt realize it did that. But vehicles? AV ...

447. Could the new update have worsened the aiming? again? - in General Discussions [original thread]
Not sure if they did anything. But I felt I had my best game "aiming" yesterday since the last aim fix. Im guessing its just me getting used to the build.

448. Uprising Infantry Weapon Tier List - in General Discussions [original thread]
I dont get the obsession over flux nades. Its not like most players have a ton more than 600 health. The flux will always leave players alive which is an issue. I honestly dont think ive ever seen anyone get hit my my m1 locus nade and still have ...

449. Laser Rifle - Nerfed into Oblivion? - in General Discussions [original thread]
Guys, can we make a thread without going off on TAR tangents? What can be done to the lazer to make it more effective? I believe it could use a range increase to put it ahead of every gun aside from the snipers. Would that be enough to fix it?

I agree, but I'll probably thrive off a nerf of it, so im cool with that. Here's my logic as to why the TAR is ok. 1) most people think its fine at range and the issue with it is CQ. (not everyone, but most) 2) The scrambler pistol is already be...

Who are you killing in 3-4 bullets? Scouts? Most decent fits would take 6-10 shots to take down. TAR could likely use a nerf in CQ, but mid/long range TAR fighting relies far more on skill than any other weapon in the game. What takes more skill?...

455. Is Gallente a good option for an assault based player? - in General Discussions [original thread]
I like the idea of "suicide" with flux nades. The only problem with that idea is your slow ass armor tanked suit will likely get murdered while it waddles into flux range... Ive been doing a lot of research looking into what suit to pick with the...

Ill take a balanced game with good gunplay based on skill based percise weapons over spray and pray any day. Halo-esque gameplay is a compliment, not an insult. You can tell who is the better player when weapons require aim and are on even footing...

457. Which Assault frame is best? Amarr, Caldari, Gallente, or Minmatar? - in General Discussions [original thread]
Hmm the fitting tool gives a passive 1 armor rep to mimitar suits, can anyone confirm this? May not seem like a big deal, but to me it kinda is. I tend to get my armor widdled down over time and even 1 per second to counter that (with a massive sh...
