63. Snipers and cloak? - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
I've got no idea how cloak works as I've just come back recently. I was pinned down by some snipers on a tower - I did see one guy when I swept around with my own sniper rifle, but then latter on I couldn't see anything, nor pick up anything with...

66. Weak fights - in General Discussions [original thread]
When I hear complaints about red lines it makes me think of a team who has pushed the other team behind the redline and now they swarm around killing anyone who pokes their head out of the red. I wonder how these folk want play to go?

Go into vehicle fits, into the market and pick out a militia tank (probably the one with a blaster). Go to it's left slots and add on a scanner. Fill up the other slots if you want. Drive around. They cost you about 80k each, so you can afford to...

68. Tips to extend a Rookies Lifespan - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
They should give bonuses (even if it's just a hundred isk) if your near an objective when it fires a missile. If you're defending, use an active scanner. Use. An. Active. Scanner! Active scanners will help you not get killed.

It'd be interesting if you had to pay a fee to bring in proto gear, and you don't get that fee back even if you don't get killed. Stop making it free extra power (risking is not the same as paying anything) Dunno exactly why or how you'd implemen...

Instead of a flat damage increase, perhaps a secondary charge over time could be introduced. This boosts the damage (on a hit), but then that extra boost has to recharge (recharges by itself, no user interaction needed) That makes them more power...
