I thought you were just supposed to harass drop ships with swarms - that's why they give you some WP just for getting past it's shields. Because generally that (and making it run away) is as good as you get.

Do they pass through clones when thrown, or if they hit one do they land at his feet? Is the explosion gradiated? Ie, the further away you are from the center the less damage you take? Or it doesn't matter if you are at the center or 4.99 meters...
