I think k 3000 damage is adequate. Considering how long it takes to get a second shot off, Thats plenty of time for a vehicle to bug out/activate hardeners/kill the PLC. Plus, as mentioned, what does it matter if you got ohk by 1500 or 3000 damage...

Here's a thought. In Eve, if you leave your ship, anyone can hop in and take it. Why not do the same for dust? Remove having to hack a vehicle to take it. That'll convince some people not to jump out.

Less movement when trying to hover would be nice, as would making the dropship transparent when looking down. Beyond that, I think they should get an efficiency bonus to hardeners, since they are far more exposed than any other vehicle.

I find my dropship fears railguns, and missiles only when they're up close. you must take into account that missiles are far slower than railguns, and therefore are much easier to avoid the further out you get.

Suppose we increase recoil on all rifles, along with some dispersion tweaks (exact values I leave vague on purpose) and have it to where crouching down and not moving all decrease recoil by an amount, where running and shooting has the most recoil...

So you know how the rounds slow down when your about to overheat? (at least it sounds that way when I hear a turret about to overheat when controlled by the ai.) Make that the normal ROF, and buff damage slightly.
