Complex shield energizer: -6% shield HP +60% shield recharge rate (!)
Advanced: -4% shield HP +45% shield recharge rate
Standard: -2% shield HP +25% shield recharge rate
Are you out of your minds? You create terrible plates for the weaker tank and create the most overpowered shield module for the stronger tank? Just wtf?

i'm not a vehicle guy so please explain?
isn't sacrificing max shield seriously a problem since your shields won't regen until you're not being shot. thus you would die easier and give you less time to run away? |

Not requiring any skills is ******. I personally dont think this sheild mod is much of an advantage, your sacrificing a slot to reduce your sheilds. I would much rather use a proto sheild recharger for the 43% recharge over loosing sheilds

yeah this is insane, all the new plates are about as usefull as a big sack if sh!t and the one item that comes for shields is ridiculously good. A 6% penalty for 60% recharge?! That penalty is only to base shields aswell if what i have read is true. That negative is nothing compared to the ridiculous movement speed penalties plates have.
Meh whatever, i assume most people will be sticking to there basic plates if anything. |

Explosives (such as a locus grenade and the little joke called the flaylock) do 30% more damage to armor and 30% less for shields, shield tankers can survive more easily a locus grenade than us armor tankers. And you got no penalization whatsoever. None zero nada. We get slow as a snail the more armor we have.
But don't worry CCP got us cover by giving us plates that don't penalize movement and repair themselves!!! Did I forgot to mention they fit like an elephant in a pool and they give like half or even a third hp of the normal ones?, ups.

If people are so worried about shields, why are they still carrying locus grenades?
I honestly don't get it.
You want to get a kill by spamming grenades, but that's not the tactic you need to use.
You actually have to pursue your enemy after you throw a flux, but the guy you will be pursuing will have less HP than a standard scout only slower with a larger "hit box"

A locus grenade obliderates armor tankers. Flux isn't that great of a counter when you consider that the armor counter outright kills us. |

most of my loadouts have flux
I wish more people carried them and I wish there were more types of flux

The fact that lolcaldari logi's are OP have been accepted forever since day one uprising. The fact they didn't care to fix them is sad. I think I will be switching back for obvious reasons. This is ******* crazy. Everyone to walks away from the nice thread about shield and armor imbalance is either straight r3tarted or didn't get it. Shield is obviously > Armor
It least you'll have to sacrifice about 100 shields off the caldari logi to use one. but that's still 579 and higher than any other class can get on shields...OP as ****. |
