Complex shield energizer: -6% shield HP +60% shield recharge rate (!)
Advanced: -4% shield HP +45% shield recharge rate
Standard: -2% shield HP +25% shield recharge rate
Are you out of your minds? You create terrible plates for the weaker tank and create the most overpowered shield module for the stronger tank? Just wtf?

You want to get a kill by spamming grenades, but that's not the tactic you need to use.
You actually have to pursue your enemy after you throw a flux, but the guy you will be pursuing will have less HP than a standard scout only slower with a larger "hit box"
A locus grenade obliderates armor tankers. Flux isn't that great of a counter when you consider that the armor counter outright kills us. |

Flux would only be fair if it outright killed shield tankers. That's how good a locus grenade is against armor tankers.

I think you are just being r3tarded at this point. Locus grenades do: 70% against shields 135% against armor. One grenade killed me with 660 armor and 150 shields. ONE.
If Flux was a good counter, it would do the same to shield tankers. |

Cat, remember, you doubted them when it came to 1.2 being good as well, I'm sure they're trying to figure out how to balance the two without nuking shields or steroiding armor. Remember the Laser Rifle? I do, that's what happens when they "Balance" something without taking time to look at it. Armor is so terrible that even if they give it steroids it would still be bad. |

Tbh, the shield energizer isn't really useful, imo You have no idea, it is obvious you are not a armor tanker and you have no clue how terrible those new plates are. Good day sir.
Also, a better recharger is a buff, no other way to explain it. |

On another note, while your armor is repping at 5hp/sec, your shields are still making a comeback. So, you still have added protection. On that note if a flux grenade hits you, then you should die , my armor is 500 so it takes me 1 minute 40 seconds to fully repair my HP. A Assault ck.0 with 1 complex repairer and full shield extenders will take 24 seconds to restore his HP. But that is the price of armor tanking. You can't have your cake, eat it, digest it, and have someone wipe your ass. Yeah, it will take a min for your armor to repair but your shields will regenerate so you won't be vulnerable. No. We have the cake and the shield tanker steals it.
If you actually do the math, armor needs 3x complex plates to get slightly higher eHP. Slightly. And what do we sacrifise in return? A buttload of regeneration. A buttload of speed. And mind you, most anti armor weapons are more effective against armor than anti shield weapons are against shields.
There is seriously no upside to armor. |
