The strategic meta is there, alive and kicking, even if outweighed by ground level skill. The reasons why I would say no are abundant, but I'm still checking the forums every now and then in hopes of seeing mouse support make a real comeback. This goes for the responders in the thread. If you were convinced the game is terminal, you would be looking for the next one. I'll judge whether it's worth getting back in autumn, based solely on peak player count then. Until that, I'm enjoying the summer and a new found interest in EVE :)

It's very bad press to let this game fall flat on it's face for EVE and World Of Darkness. I'm sure EVE had some problems during the first year. Even if some players do leave for Destiny/PS2/BF4/COD1032 im sure throughout it all Dust will still be here constantly improving into the game we've all been promised. People will get burnt out with those other games at some point and come back to this to find all new features. You've got to remember with the other games as soon as the game is out and a high enough money has been poured into it after release it will die and then Desitny 2/PS3/BF6/COD9120 will come out whereas there is no Dust 1028. Just Dust 514 If Dust 514 released on PS4 and isn't for all intents and purposes Dust 514 2, then they're screwed. There's going to need to be a HUGE jump from what we have now to the PS4 product if they hope to stand any chance at all. The whole "we won't ever release a sequel" thing is nothing more than a semantic based sales pitch. It means absolutely nothing.

On the fence, the lack of communication and the rapidly dropping player count has me concerned, I won't drop another dime on this game(beta) until there is a decent player base, more game content, and some decent communication.
