ShakeMS Red and Silver Hand Amarr Empire 41	Posted - 2013.06.02 08:30:00 - [1] - Quote Fact is at least 10% (I am betting a whole lot more with the whole KB/M) of the player base is from Eve and play this game only to support CCP(Contradictory Callous Products) or just need a change of scenery from Eve but wanna remain loyal to CCP(Contradictory Callous Products). At least another 25% (again I bet it's a lot higher % but being modest) feel obligated to play this game because they have already invested in this horrible product in hopes that it will get better. For example, some players played the beta for almost a year or a year to help test the game and help it start off strong. What good did it do to waist real cash on a beta only to have Contradictory Callous Products completely wipe everything you have tested and played and give you a crappy release called Uprising on 5-14 just to get the "cool" release date? (Contradictory) Again they mess up day in day out, they offer 1 respec (which some people still didn't get from what I read) to try to make small player base happy for all the broken crap Contradictory Callous Products have messed up. They manage to mess that easy task up that they have already done once flawlessly by giving everybody double their ISK (In game currency for those who live under rock) than proceed to post on their forums, not in the game they messed up in, just the forums that you have to log in to look at. They strongly advise the player base not to spend the extra ISK or they will go into a negative balance. After all this they allow the player base who attempted to cheat and get forced into negative balance to clean their slate and go back down to 0ISK while being able to keep all assets bought(supposedly they are gonna fix this, I'll believe it when I see it at this point). (Callous) Conclusion- You get 35% (Once again I am sure this is a lot higher but for the sake of being modest we will only say 35%) of a player base who has been screwed over time in time out and are forced to put up with this crap for the sake of being a loyal person to a company who doesn't appreciate Dust514 players as a true customer. We are nothing more than a side project who is giving CCP a little extra cash each day,week, or month in hopes that someday in the very distant future this game might be something. 2 Major reliable game sites have already decapitated this game brutally honest and the other took the professional approach but still owned CCP with honesty. BF manages to make a game that you can play as infantry or in a war machine where Dust struggles to make the game fun and playable on something basic like shooting in a FPS(First Person Shooter) game. (Contradictory Callous Products)

If you want to know who is who, look at the Server population about 2 weeks before Uprising, Those are the EvE players.

I was simply stating there is problems with the game and pointing out my opinion on situations why people don't pack up and go to another game. CCP have to take action right now, to keep the already fragile player base. Anyone that leave the game this early in the Official Release, will most likely never come back.

There are people who enjoy this game no doubt, but there is also a huge% who constantly hate this game. Just because people continue to play it doesn't mean they like it.

The shooting mechanics worked just fine in Chromosome, the hit detection was another issue but every game has lag. Uprising on the other hand is horrible, you shoot people and they aren't even there or taking damage 80% of the time. Don't believe me? Here's the proof watch the whole thing.

They lack experience they aren't ready, bla bla bla. So why did they release the game knowing they aren't ready? This game needs at least one more year of beta in the current road it's heading. I just don't see anything positive happening for quite some time. You kept most people playing this game with the much awaited Planetary Conquest but even that is laggy almost 100% of the time. The public matches work much better. Forcing corporations from different part of the world to compete for hosting the server before the match starts is a joke. Can't there be a server dedicated just for holding PC matches so the matches can be lag free? Ya it's not a big deal right now because it's only 80M but what happens when each PC match costs half a Bil or even maybe a Billion Isk after buying MCC and all kinds of other things that need to be in the district? It just seems like you are getting shot and you are just putting band aids on bullet wounds. Your sight can't go no further than 27M in front of you. You make many decisions without even stopping to think what effects they can have on the game and players in the game.

Absolutely, right. I also played WoW since the beta and I can say that when the game was launched it had a LOT of problems people couldn't imagine right now. The game now is much more polished, balanced and stable nowadays but I personally think it lost something in the process.

Sorry... how can you possible compare WoW with Dust 514 ? WoW wasn't perfect at release, but was a complete MMORPG experience...They where, and they still are, the pioneers of the MMO genre, the ones that started the full thing.

These Eve guys are like ambassadors of CCP. Their job is to come in here and support CCP no matter how god awful this game gets. They will continue to say it's great and throw in insanely dumb things like comparing a game with 7k player base to a game that made MMO world wide famous. I think Ultima Online was the first that got MMOs on the market but no doubt WoW is what made it cool. Ultima Online was good but WoW has just surpassed every bar and set it so high for any MMO. Dust514 is not a MMO. I am slightly becoming more annoyed every time somebody calls it that because they read on the internet that it was a MMO.

DUST fails on many levels, fun is not one of them yet.

Counter Strike have an average of 100,000 players online at one giving time, that is a Massive amount of people. Yet you won't hear anyone saying that CS is a MMO.

Perhaps players will get on AFK farm maybe the occasional PC battle here and there. Eventually though if FF14 has it's **** together somewhat and just has a sense of direction where it's going the Dust community will be cut by another 10-20% (being modest yet again, most likely higher)
