A- For each pub match (20 in total), kill 5 , get 2.5m ISK -> grand total of 50m ISK.

B- For each pub match (20 in total), get 2.5m ISK for each confirmed 5 kills. Makes no sense but just had to write it.

If you want to kill templars you don't reply with anything. You are hunting 'em already in public matches.
Only those that want to become templars (get characters) reply.

It's kinda funny to see that within minutes Eterne and Frame are saying different things. Is it 3 kills or 5 kills or TEMPLARS that is required to get 2.5 mil?

You can kill Amarr Templar012 on the first day, Amarr Templar181 on the second day and Amarr Templar055 on the third day once, and you will be qualified.

If you want a templar, you reply to that thread. If you don-¦t want, you don-¦t reply, like CCP Frame said in this very thread.

No need to write that you want to become a templar hunter, just play regular public matches.

Sorry, we will select random 200 Templars. It would be unfair if first 200 replies get to play the Templar only :)

Templars need to play at least 20 public matches in those 3 days.
Templar hunters need to just kill 3 times any templar and will receive 2.5mil ISK after the event finishes.

Question, how do you know if we are selected? Do we just get the dropsuits to use or do we get a list of people who were chosen to be Templars?

Q: How will I know if I received my Templar character?
A: Simply log in to your account on 30th of May after the downtime and you should see your Templar character if you are the chosen one! Select it, and play public matches!

Question: Will we get to keep the templar characters after the event is over?

Community team is not in charge of fixing bugs AFAIK, but I guess you think that all teams in the entire company can fix bugs. Even their cooks.

200 is far too low. We have anywhere from 4,000 to 9,000 players on at a time, and we're supposed to somehow find one of the 200 chosen ones? Especially considering that I'm sure there's people on their alternate PSN accounts trying to sign up to increase their odds. But I don't know, we'll see.

The game is broken. I would be embarassed to host an 'event' when the basic gameplay is so utterly borked. Perhaps they should hire more devs and have a smaller 'community team'.

With 2 million skill points they can specialize into their given dropsuits and weapons and be competitive. We really don't want to give out over powered characters for this event, and prefer that the Templars play mainly as infantry.

I think they should go infantry, but that they should also have lots of gear. I would recommend this resolution: Give them 10 mil SP's, but also give them a bunch of proto infantry gear (aside from the stuff you're already planning to give them). That way they'll be led into infantry because they won't start with the isk for vehicles.

Hi all, here's some clarification about the Templar Manhunt event.

1. You will receive 2.5 million ISK for scoring 3 Templar kills during the event (not per match). Killing more than 3 Templars during the event period does not result in more ISK rewards.

2. Templar characters will have 2 million skill points to be distributed by players who receive them. You decide what skills your Templar will have, so choose wisely.

3. You may allocate skill points earned by your Templar from the public matches during the event.

4. You must play at least 20 public matches and earn a total of 20,000 War Points during the 3 day event as the Templar in order to qualify for the Templar reward. Matches played without the Templar character and/or without the Templar dropsuit equipped will not count towards the reward requirement!

5. As the Templar, you are only allowed to play in public matches and cannot join a player corporation. Violation of these rules will result in a disqualification to receive the Templar rewards.

6. The Templar characters will be removed from your account after the event is over (during DT on June 3rd).

7. The Templar characters will be seeded into your DUST 514 account during DT on May 31st. We will publish a list of players chosen to be Templars by Thursday, May 30th.

8. As part of our partnership with Sony, we are alloting 100 Templar characters to Sony community members to participate in this event and to promote DUSt 514.

We are encouraged by the interest shown from the community in this event, and will be planning more fun events in the near future!
