I use push to talk but at times it upsets me. PTT is only enabled when in the merc quarters, warbarge, and on the ground. This means that you can't be heard when on a deployment screen or victory/defeat screen. Keep that in mind.

Probably depends on the head set and how you hooked it up. There are probably accessory settings in the PS3 config that you need to set as well. My headset came with documentation that explained all that. Did yours?
