Defy the Amarr Empire as a rebellious Templar renegade, or destroy the rebels to win items, dropsuits, and more in the Templar Manhunt event!
The very first immortal clone soldiers, the Templars once served as the star-spanning Amarr theocracy's imperial guard. Now, many of the Templars have gone rogue to seek freedom and fortune in the endless wars of DUST 514-«.
From Friday, 31 May, through Sunday, 2 June, you can either become a Templar renegade or hunt them down to earn awesome rewards.
As a Templar, you must play at least 20 public matches (instant battles only) during the event. Once you do, you'll receive 300 copies each of the Logistics, Heavy, and Assault models of Amarr Advanced ISK Dropsuits.
YouGÇÖll also be the first to test-drive three upcoming Amarr Templar Dropsuits and three Amarr Templar weapons, all of which are exclusive to the EVE Online-« Second Decade CollectorGÇÖs Edition.
We're only sending out so many Templars. The sooner you apply, the better your chances to test out these awesome items and get the Advanced ISK suits!
If you can't be a Templar (or can't abide traitors to the Empress), strike it rich as a Templar Hunter instead. All players who rack up three confirmed Templar kills in public matches during the event will get 2,500,000 ISK.

Apparently it's 5 kills (in thread) for 2.5m ISK.
Now is it 5 kills per match, or any 5 kills. Also can we farm it, so 10 kills are 5m ISK? |

The wording in this event is very awkward.
Still don't know if it's
A- For each pub match (20 in total), kill 5 , get 2.5m ISK -> grand total of 50m ISK.
B- For each pub match (20 in total), get 2.5m ISK for each confirmed 5 kills. Makes no sense but just had to write it. |

The sign up page says that you need to get 20000 skill points in the 3 days as well as compete in 20 matches.
Should that read 20k in WAR POINTS?
"Those that choose to hunt down the Templars will receive [2.500.000 ISK] in bounties if they successfully kill (not kill assist) the Templar character 3 times. Kills on Templars by other Templars do not count. The Templars themselves need to play at least 20 public matches (other types of matches do not count) over the course of 3 days and earn total of**** 20.000 skill points ******in order to qualify for [300 Amarr Advanced A/1 Dropsuits] of all specializations (Assault, Sentinel and Logistics). |

Natu very true. I'm still not sure if i have to choose between a Hunter or the Hunted or CCP will choose for me. |

If you want to hunt you don't reply with anything. You are hunting 'em already in public matches. |

Does it have to be the same templar in one match? say there are 3 different templars, and between them I get 6 kills, 3, 2, and 1. Do I get 2.5 mil or 5 mil? |

Because the announcement thread got spammed to death by Empress loyalists that want to hunt the renegade templars.
