can we get a corp room where we can shoot one another to demonstrate this problem as we record it? |

3rd page really? Can ccp please confirm or deny the aiming problem? Ign review is exactly right on the aiming in dust as a previous poster pointed out. I want to know how much time I should waste on this game. If it is something you see as a problem then fine I will stick it out as I wait on a resolution. In fact im getting better with the crappy controls and have managed some decent rounds. However I refuse to relearn how to track an enemy with my sights for one game that may or may not have potential depending on what the company decides. |

Quick question to the Devs, are there any methods running on the game to smooth framerates? Games that do this ussually end up with bad controlls overall due to what the smoothing does.

You guys should take a Mouse & Keyboard, put a PS3 into 576p mode play a good few matches get a good feel to how that feels (we want our controlls to work like that), now go back to playing in 720p, feels horrible doesnt it, especially in close quarter combat.
Since the ps3 limits itself in FPS, there does not seem to be any smoothing going on at low resolutions.
Also dont try it with a controller, the input diffrences are lessened by using the controller because it reacts diffrently to the framerate issues.
controller = you push your crosshair KBM = you pull your crosshair
Its much more apparant while pulling on it.
try it out, its a simple test, shouldnt take you longer then an hour to figure it out and youll be doomed to play Dust @ 576p forever because there is no going back to 720p once you sampled 576p. |

Well supposedly Uprising 1.2 patch that comes out in early July fixes this problem. If it's not fixed I will probably riot. |

This issue can't be pressed enough. Aiming, in game movement and technical performance are foundations of this game and they need to be worked on. It is an expectation and a standard of shooters.
Specifically the mouse support. If any speed is applied to your turns trying to accurately orient your crosshairs to targets is very inconsistent. It feels laggy from a network end and through game performance.
Sometimes the delay between the fire button being clicked and the actual shot happening is nearly a full second.
At other times it seems the game is just bogged down performance wise in any close quarters encounter. The frame rate is near unplayable for such situations.
I know this has all been said before, but for those who feel the same as me this is a make or break issue that prevents the game from being enjoyable. |
