Little bit of history
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXWf-l71MY4
Caldari Prime was invaded by the Gallente more than a hundred years ago, and 5 years ago the Caldari got it back and put a Titan to watch over it.
Today, we have civil unrest, we have our fights to desestabilize the Caldari on the planet, and it seems things are escalating quickly and we-¦ll have a huge fight with all the parties that have an interest on the planet.
As a Minmatar, i know what is like to have your home taken away from you, and i will do whatever it takes so that people don-¦t have to suffer it a second time.
Me and my friends, fellow mercs and capsuleers, are going to help the Caldari to maintain their rightfully control of their homeplanet.
Let-¦s hope we don-¦t get another sacrifice like the one Admiral Yakiya Tovil-Toba did to secure the safety of his population, for should a supercarrier or a titan do something to the planet, there will be no planet left do something about.
We are gifted with immortality, but the hundreds of millions civilians on the planet are not.

Get your datapad mate, it-¦s available historic records.
Yes they were part of the federation, yes they had a war of secession, the gallente took Caldari prime.
Then Caldari got Caldari prime back, and now, we have several agents trying to make the Caldari go away from their homeplanet, AGAIN.
And the Caldari value Meritocracy, slavery is a very inneficient motivator for people to do things. The Minmatar people have proven themselves several times regarding resilience and adaptability, things that any meritocrat would enjoy.
The Caldari are the rightful owners of Caldari Prime, let them have it !

HA The Caldari have held the planet because they permanently stationed a Titan in orbit... a bit oppressive dont you think?
Do as we say or we bombard you from orbit...
Not much different than pumping slaves with drugs or attaching a shock collar

If my homeworld was invaded, and it was located at the heart of my invaders interplanetary systems, how else would you maintain control of it?
Do as we say? Are you one of the deffective clones?
They simply are watchful from orbit, no one is supposed to be bombarded, because guess what.. it-¦s THEIR PLANET.
The titan is to prevent an invasion like the one is happening right now. And you are on the side of the opressors to be.
Caldari prime shall not be invaded a second time. |

Gallente people already have their homeplanet
I don-¦t want the titan to enter orbit, i don-¦t want the titan to have to fire a Doomsday at enemy fleets, i just want Caldari Prime to remain under Caldari Control. Not that complicated.

What is a home planet? the Gallente and the Caldari are from many worlds. They just chose those for political reasons
Caldari Prime (secondary?) was under Gallente protection for 100's of years. it was only some extremest radicals that stirred things up and kicked this potential war off all over again!...

A friend is the one that show when you are doing something wrong, and the Gallente soon to be invasion of Caldari Prime is one of those times.
Only death and more grudges will result from this, and i can not agree with the theft of a homeworld from anybody! If we Minmatar were to invade Ammar, we would loose, for we became less of us, and more of them.
Homes are sacred, and what is happening right now is a slap on the face of billions of people that just want thei place intact.

But that isnt what either of us want to see between these 2 powers. However the Caldari arent helping themselves either. The way they go about "liberating" or controlling situations... well reminds me Amarrian war crimes |

Actually, Gallente Prime and Caldari Prime are both in the Luminaire system because that's where their ancestors lived at the time of the EVE Gate's collapse.
The Gallente, noticing signs of life on another planet in AD 22463 (YC -773), launched a space program to go visit. In AD 22517, the Gallente managed to establish contact and helped to uplift the Caldari (whose world was colder and more harsh) into modern technology.
Over the next few hundred years, the Gallente established relations with the Intaki and the Mannar. At this point, it was suggested that the four peoples create a Federation for their mutual expansion and benefit. The Caldari joined willingly.
About 33 years later, the rest of the Federation found out that the Caldari megacorporations had been secretly colonizing hundreds of worlds in a number of stellar regions for the sake of circumventing the laws of the same Federation that they supposedly supported. When the rest of the peoples of the Federation demanded that these systems abide by the agreed-to laws and treaties, the Caldari megacorps decided that this was a patriotism issue and unleashed a propaganda campaign demanding secession in the name of Caldari supremacy.
One result of that campaign was the bombing of the underwater city of Nouvelle Rouvenor, which was mostly inhabited by ethnic Gallente. This unprovoked, racially-motivated attack on civilians led the Federation to bombard Caldari military bases and to send troops down to the surface to provide security to the non-Caldari population.
The war devastated both sides, but it is interesting to note that the Federation prospered afterwards while the State stagnated and struggled to pay its bills. The reason that so many people looked at Heth as some kind of savior is that he restored their faith in the failed notion that the Caldari are better off alone than as part of a larger whole. Now, the megacorporations are trying to maintain the Empyrean War that he (and an imposter known as The Broker) started because it's the only thing propping up the Caldari economy.
I for one look forward to the day when the Caldari and Gallente can be friends again. I'd rather be mercing against pirates, Rogue Drones, and nutjobs like the Blood Raiders. |

I-¦ve done my share of dirty jobs to know that neither of our leaders are saints.
Heth has had his share of losses due to politics, so no wonder he-¦s on the edge and doing silly things.
It does not justify however, to invade his homeplanet and look for a fight.

It was never actually vacant. There were plenty of non-Caldari living on Caldari Prime at the time. A few Caldari did stay, and others came back over the years once the war ended.
The key here is that the Caldari STATE abandoned Caldari Prime.
No one in the Federation has ever sought to keep peace-loving Caldari civilians from living there, so long as they obey the laws that the Caldari agreed to in helping to found the Federation.
We cannot permit a hostile nation that has already tried to auction off Intaki (and OUR home world) to maintain any military presence inside the Federation.
I, for one, would welcome all of the Caldari back into the Federation. I would love to see Caldari Prime become once again the jewel of a peaceful Caldari people.
But... Luminaire and its planets can never be allowed to be part of the State anymore than Intaki could. |

Well its not like the Minmatar have much of a choice really. A 1/5 of our entire population lives inside Gallente borders. We fight the Gallente and we end up fighting ourselves. Besides the Republic wouldn't exist without the Gallente financial help. Though at the moment I think we should be more concerned about the Ammar fleets building up around huge freighters. |

The auction of Intaki was an ellegant solution to several disputes, it pleased the Caldari, the Gallente and the Intaki, by letting them have their autonomy.

I know everyone have their own fun on games but trust me, i-¦m having a lot of fun on this one like this =)
I play EVE since 2007, "i was there" when Tibus Heth rose to power, i was there when Caldari Prime was reconquered, i was there cheering and having a shitload of fun when the storyline advanced 5 years ago, and now, 5 years later, i have a chance to contribute into maintaining the Caldari control of the planet even tough everyone have every reason to want Heth dead and the planet lost.
I connect to the game, that-¦s why i-¦ve played in the New Eden universe for 6 years, and i-¦ll continue playinf for several more, in different plataform, with different parts of a whole. This game is awesome, and i don-¦t need to stop working, having sex fun and a real life just because i connect to the game when i-¦m playing it.
Sometimes i think a lot of people simply play it to get a nice kdr, to brag about performance, simply come and go. It-¦s a way of enjoying the game, of course, but are they enjoying themselves or just being slaves to some arbitrary performance metric ?
I have a lot of fun, hope everyone lese is having too =) |

Natu,
Don't you realise every bullet fired for the Caldari is another justification for the millions of Minmatar trapped in Caldari space in indentured servatute to the Caldari corporate war machine. A war machine the sells, at cost, the Amarr weapons technology.
Weapons technology that is used to oppress the Matar people.
The Caldari arn't a free people, they are indocerinated with false class conciousness and pride in what little they have, while oligarchs reign supreme in corporate offices of unparalleled opulence. The caldari do not promote those born into thier station in life. There is no meritocracy, only oppression.
