Natu,
Don't you realise every bullet fired for the Caldari is another justification for the millions of Minmatar trapped in Caldari space in indentured servatute to the Caldari corporate war machine. A war machine the sells, at cost, the Amarr weapons technology.
Weapons technology that is used to oppress the Matar people.
The Caldari arn't a free people, they are indocerinated with false class conciousness and pride in what little they have, while oligarchs reign supreme in corporate offices of unparalleled opulence. The caldari do not promote those born into thier station in life. There is no meritocracy, only oppression.
Every people have their own struggles, the Caldari will sort their own mess if they are bothered by it, but in any case, there is no way opression can justify another opression.
There-¦s an attack fleet coming, what if one of those capital ships fall and enter orbit? There-¦s a reason why capital ships aren-¦t allowed in the densely populated areas of hi-sec space.
Again, we are immortal, and our shenanigans will cost a lot of lives if we go this way. For every innocent dead, there will be 10 to avenge it, and the cicle wil never stop.
War never changes, but it doesn-¦t mean we have to be so reckless about it. |

They wouldn't be coming if the State had not placed a Doomsday Weapon in low orbit over a planet inhabited by billions of people.
If the Caldari really want to save lives, they should jump that titan back into their own territory ASAP.
The Federation did not start this, but we are not going to permit a superweapon free rein inside Gallente hisec.
Dropclones are a much more humane way of settling this. Sure, cloned soldiers can do a lot of damage, but nothing compared to a miniature sun lancing down from low orbit.
As long as the Shiigeru is hanging over the Federation, the violence will continue to escalate. I've got capsuleer relatives (normal peaceful relatives) freaking out and trying to figure out crazy ways to destroy that thing. |

For 5 years the Shiigeru has been there, for 5 years there was no major incidents, and you come to tell me that all this happening NOW is because of this?
No corelation at all with our new clone tech, or major political events, or desestabilization of power, or internal coups, or deliberate provocations, or anything of the sorts?
She was there for 5 years without trouble, trouble is coming for her. |

As an Intaki, I feel it is important to recognize the Cycle in all things.
The acorn contains potential for the oak tree and for the the many acorns that will fall from said tree. By planting that acorn, I am responsible for the tree and the acorns that will fall from it.
When Heth planted the Shiigeru in Luminaire, he set in motion a storm of emotion that would, almost inevitably, lead to violence down the road. He is not a stupid man, so we cannot excuse his actions as ignorance. We must therefore conclude that he was intentionally provoking a conflict over the sovereignty of Luminaire.
Though that conflict did not occur (until now), it is the natural fruition of his choice. He knew, on some level, that the Federation could no more tolerate a Caldari titan in their midst than he could stand the Federation's control of Caldari Prime.
Like two mountains warring- immovable, inevitable.
While we Intaki have been content to wait centuries for our situation to reach proper fruition, the Gallente and Caldari are very physical people, rooted in the mindset of a single lifetime.
Perhaps, someday, when both sides have the distance of history from which to observe this matters, a peaceful solution can be negotiated. Until then, we must work to restore the Balance that existed at the conclusion of the Gallente-Caldari War. |

"A number of military tactics experts have indicated that the shutdown of communications may have been undertaken to render the Caldari orbital fleet unable to provide orbital support without reliable coordinates, and if so, the move may be the precursor to a full scale surface invasion of Caldari Prime."

Because bombarding helpless civilians evacuating the planet was a lot more honourable.

Military power which wasnt doing anything, hurting anything, just helping the Caldari becoming a bit stronger and standing on its own feet in the 'federation' at the time
Gallente get butthurt over it and want a piece of it even tho they did nothing for it, next thing they start a war for the solo reason of obtaining what the Caldari have |

As a Minmitar i would side wth the Gal... at least they dont condone slavery Get your datapad mate, it-¦s available historic records. Yes they were part of the federation, yes they had a war of secession, the gallente took Caldari prime. Then Caldari got Caldari prime back, and now, we have several agents trying to make the Caldari go away from their homeplanet, AGAIN. And the Caldari value Meritocracy, slavery is a very inneficient motivator for people to do things. The Minmatar people have proven themselves several times regarding resilience and adaptability, things that any meritocrat would enjoy. The Caldari are the rightful owners of Caldari Prime, let them have it ! Luminaire is Gallente's system, not caldari's. |

"We are a Federation and democratic, except when you go agains out will, then you screw you."
Enough with the Gallente propaganda, they have a lot of merits, but this situation at Caldari Prime is an absurd ! |

You mean, bombarding helpless civilians like the Caldari Navy is doing right now?
The problem is that military types like to put military installations near civilian populations.
It's like all the generals just WANT to be able to QQ about how the other side was "bombarding helpless civilians".
It would be a lot more humane to just let us ground pounders solve the problem without orbital support. |
