You are correct! Here's another riddle:
You get lost in a dense forest and some tribal people get hold of you. Now these savage people want to make a game out of you! They hang you upside down from a tree with a rope. The other end is tied to a nail on the ground. Now, they light a small candle beneath the end of the rope on the ground. To make it more interesting, these idiots bring a hungry tiger from somewhere and place it beneath the tree and they leave. Now, the candle will slowly burn the rope, you will fall and the tiger will make you his dinner. How will you save yourself?

I assume it looks sort of like a pulley, with the weight being you. So if you reached for the other end of the rope, the side attached to the nail on the ground, and pulled it down, you'd pull yourself up, right?
So just do that until you reach the branch that the rope is slung over, and you can escape along the branches.
If you're a true #yoloswag dumbass, you could perhaps use the rope to fashion a lasso and try strangle the tiger, skin it for its pelt using the nail, the use the candle wax to mould a mask for yourself, and walk up to the tribe of barbarians that tried to kill you with a candle wax mask and a tiger pelt draped over your shoulder and make them worship you. |

Vyzion's first answer helps the rest of us - we can just swing over to the other end of the rope and pull ourselves to the branch. However, do you want to figure out what to do after you are on top of that branch?
Well... isn't the end of that rope going to be burning from the candle? I'd probably swing it at some underbrush to start a fire that scares off the tiger before climbing down. Then i'll find a river, then follow it downstream - civilization naturally builds towns around rivers for easy access to water, so i'd eventually get home.
EDIT: only a spec-ops Rambo type would be able to survive Vyzion's second answer - and somebody who was captured by a savage tribe isn't likely that type of person. |

Sing happy birthday... d(^_^d ) You are correct! After the song ends, the tiger will blow out the candle and you'll be saved. But then you'll have to figure out how to get yourself down!
Here's a new riddle:
One night, a man and his wife were driving to a certain place. All of a sudden the car stopped. The man realized that he would need to pour some cold water into the carburetor. He asked his wife to sit inside the car and lock the doors, while he goes searching for the water. After sometime, when the man returns, he finds this wife dead in a pool of blood. Besides her, there was a stranger with no clothes on his body. Who was the stranger and how did his wife die? |

1. What the hell. Sing happy birthday? To a tiger? What is this, Life of Pi?
2. Obviously the misdirection with the door locking, blood and stranger was working an I thought she had been assaulted and raped, but which rapist takes all their clothes off? Committing a crime in a birthday suit... And then it hit me.
Pregnant wife. She had given birth in the car. Stranger was their child.
To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if the man burnt the car and walked back home with his baby. I don't know how you could drive in that thing after that. |

Now this riddle is familiar - yes, the wife had a baby and died during childbirth. It can also be presumed that the "certain place" was the hospital to deliver said child. |

You are...CORRECT! Here's another riddle:
There was this magician who was playing some smart tricks across the street. A boy went up to him and the man said, "I will just touch your forehead and write your actual name on this yellow paper. If I am wrong, then I will give you some of my magic stuffs, otherwise you have to give me $10." The boy agreed, for he thought that no matter what name he writes down, he will deny it. But, it was the boy who lost the bet. How is this possible? |

One fish each, three fish, means we have three people, we'll call them A, B and C.
A is B's father. B is C's father. (A is C's grandfather).
That's two fathers.
B is A's son. C is B's son. (C is A's grandson).
That's two sons.
Either that or they lose one of the fish on the way home. |
