+1. I assumed we would have something akin to Titan mode when I was checking info on DUST. When I told people about DUST back then, I even told them the objective mode would be similar to Conquest/Titan mode. Would be great if they added that to make it even closer to Titan mode.
I miss the mode we had in Mordu's Private Trials. It was like MAG's Sabotage or Battlefield's Rush mode, but with Skirmish as the final part. Was that considered Skirmish 1.0? If so, that, with the addition of being able to board the enemy MCC, would make the game much more interesting. |

Finished a Skirmish earlier to day with less than four bars on both MCCs.
We won 2 clones to Zero with neither MCC being destroyed,
That was pretty intense.

Probably one of the best game modes in a shooter, period.
I approve.
Edit: Furthermore, this would be a great prelude to ship/station/in space boarding actions. |

I too, am one of those that thought this would have a mode like titan mode.. and also, the old skirmish was a hell of a lot better. Combine the two? +1000 now for random brain stuff. Remove the redlines add a bunch of turrets on the mcc to deal with enemy camping. Maybe have different parts of the MCC destructible (like the turrets), or what if you could have the war barge drop you from orbit via some capsule or something that you have to buy on the market place as an alternate spawn point. My only real other thought is that waiting until the shields are down might be a little too early to be allowed to board the MCC, maybe make it so you have to brute force your way past some armor plate or some **** to open a hole once the shields are down.(Tanks, Swarm Launchers, forge guns ect.) while the mcc hammers you with bullets.. would be fun.. |

+1 for being able to board and attack the enemy MCC. Redlined games do tend to drag on and on. I also don't like playing skirmish on the smaller 3 base maps. Skirmish should be reserved for large 5 base maps or even 6 or 7 base maps. |

I'd just be happy with the occasional return of version 1.0 it was great fun sneaking around an enemy camp to cap on of the undefended letters. You really did get the feeling of being part of an invasion. |

You certainly are persistent OP, but that's how this idea will make it into the game.
I love it. BF 2142 was incredible and Titan mode was so intense. Perhaps to add to this, maybe the MCC has 2-3 weak spots (maybe with options to fit more) inside that need to be destroyed, each time one is destroyed it kills all of the enemy soldiers inside, but only after a 60 second countdown so they have a chance to escape and assault it again.

In my support for this idea I would like to add that boarding an MCC would be incredible. It would be an incredible contrast between the usual large open spaces in skirmish. |

Yes I didnt mean like within 2 to 3 seconds, probabl like a minute or two, somethin balanced to give defenders time to get to the objective once or twice before it explodes. |

The only thing I feel I can add is another push for CCP to hurry this up. I think planetary conquest could help fill this gap and this game mode is only really faesable when the player market happens and we have player owned MCC's, otherwise it becomes too similar to skirmish as it is now. When players can fit an MCC in certain ways that allow for enough distinction between the game modes then I'm sure we'll see skirmish 2.0.
With regards to ideas for MCC fittings, perhaps players could increase the weak points an MCF has at the cost of lowering shields sooner, giving a nice tradeoff between how quickly players can make an assault and how well that can carry it off in order to destroy twice the amount of weak points.

definitely. This would add something to the game that is unique, something that many modern FPS games lack. If this game is going to be popular, it needs to stand out from the huge pool of mediocre FPS games, and the only way to do this is to have something no one else does. Besides, adding some new to the standerd capture the flag/king of the hill formula would be awesome. +1 |
