Just drive up to them with an LAV and switch seats or jump out just as it hits them. They get crushed and die. If you ram their LAV with yours, it'll die too. Same goes for MCC repping dropships. Just play bumper cars with them until they stop or blow up. |

You can also hop in and joy ride away in whatever they're using to farm (you can't rep while you're embarked).
Beyond that while have FF turned on for Null Sec and possibly (hopefully) for Low Sec FW. High Sec battles currently have no plans for FF to be turned on. |

It doesn't quite work like that all the time. I drove as fast as I could into someone the other day - banged him between my LAV and a wall. Know what it done? Gently pushed him onto the bonnet. |

Right before you hit the person, you have to hit (Triangle) and switch seats. This way its not you driving, but the LAV has enough momentum to still kill the guy. |

I... didn't know about that running into teammates with an empty vehicle trick. I'm going to try that. People will hate me, but it must be tested IN THE NAME OF SCIENCE!
Yes, hitting other ally vehicles with yours does damage. Turn on your shield/armor repper and smash the hell out of it. It'll pop, but then they'll summon a free one 15 seconds later anyway, so it's a stop-gap solution at best.
I'm OK with no friendly fire from firearms. It's stupid to think that with such advanced technology they don't have IFF tags that the suits pick up and disable the gun. Now, for SPLASH weapons, it's a different story, and that stuff REALLY needs to be fixed to hurt everyone. I'm tired of seeing people chuck a grenade into their buddies to kill the one enemy, or of the clown calling down an Orbital Strike on his own head and laughing it off. |

Edit: sorry, cant just bump threads.
While I agree with the later post, fighting your allies is tough, it does discourage certain activities. Of course this gets way out of hand when people start team killing because you belong to a certain group rather than your actual actions. |

think about it a little more before suggesting this, i've seen players TK for the fun of it/when they hate another player. and it sucks when you have to fight the opposition and your ally |

have team killers turn red so you get points for killing them?
security status hit? take enough of a hit and you can't play in high sec anymore. |

Hell, they will most likely be scanning for reppers once it goes live by scanning for damage repaired that isn't caused by enemy fire. There is NEVER a good reason for team killing unless you are killing a team killer. And to prevent team killing, if you kill a teammate you loose half of your total score and payout each time, and after the third time you are kicked and banned from the match, and there needs to be a section in your character sheet that corporations need to look at when hiring you that shows how many team kills you've had. |

The tragedy of this is that I joined a game last knight with two people from THE WARRIORS and the second the game loaded up for me all I saw was the lights of an LAV and then *SPLAT*
Both of those guys had 1 LAV each and they were banging it on the wall, then presumably repairing it -- I didn't stick around to see. At the end of the match one of them had 0-0 and 6000+ WP. That's the greatest number I've ever seen in my life to date! The second one had a more common ~3,500. I think he was called "The Mutilator" or something (I didn't write the names down and I've forgotten them).
So yeah, here you are asking for teamkilling in order to kill the boosters and here I am having been killed by a booster. How much more insult can be added to this injury? :P
P.S.: We lost the match of course. |

how about you can only team kill someone repairing so if they are helping you then you wouldn't want to kill them but if they are boosting then you would and since they repair so much they would be open to this a lot longer than anybody normal repairing. |

If you want FF in hi-sec at all, you're gonna have to get a lot of posts in this thread, because my conversations on IRC have involved such idiotic drivel as "FF in matchmaking games isn't fair because I can't choose who I play with".
I'm not kidding. That's pretty much a quote. The amount of carebears in this game is somewhat scary, and we're going to need to make a thread to kill all others if we want global FF. |

His point is that you would be team killed so that they could hack the target instead of only getting hack assist points, and I can totally see that happening with some of these asshats on here. |

Meh, bit nuts there, **** happens... sometimes you kill a team mate. Some time people are stupid and run in front of your gun just as you pull the trigger.. sometimes your coming around the corner in that lav a little to fast and splat... :D maybe you lob your grenade just as a friendly lav driver tries to run the guy over and you blow the whole **** up. |

I can agree with that to a point, but you have to have situational awareness. You can't blame the idiot who runs out in front of you entirely because you have a minimap. Same goes for the driver and the grenade or the guy around the corner. Your team is always on your minimap, so even though there are stupid people around that does not absolve you of having to have situational awareness. Team killing a noob just because he got in your way is total weak sauce and should be punished. It'll accidentally happen from time to time, but if people are punished appropriately then that will lead to better situaltional awareness. And knowing that someone was just harshly punished for accidentally killing you will make you feel less animosity towards them. It always pisses people off when they get team killed, putting in this punishment will make you think twice about team killing them back for spite. |

I fully support team damage for the tactical adjustments it requires. If you are going to call in that OB, you better let your teammates know, likewise, if you decide to start spamming away grenades, you better pay attention to your HUD so you don't team kill. Using AOE attacks around teammates from a safe position is such a cheese tactic, it kills any suspension of disbelief for me and it's the reason I preferred hardcore on COD. Halo had team damage and it always seemed to work well.
IMO, the best way to approach it would either be to give players a vote to kick, or forgive team killing if more people on the other team are killed than teammates. In any case, you should be penalized the same number of points for each team kill as you gain for killing enemy players, with auto kick if you kill teammates with no enemies around. You can always join another match if you accidentally throw a grenade amidst your teammates. :-) |

Friendly fire is all good and well but what about when you're on low health and accidentally walk into a friendly's aim of fire?
Bounty system I like. Perhaps that there are bounties for those at the top of the leaderboards: killing those with the best kills to death ratios are rewarded a few extra SP, which is also displayed to you after the battle and on the rewards screen. |

No! No, no, no, no, no! No kicking players. This is not SOCOM and if it ever devolves into a SOCOM knock off me and about 90% of the other players are going to be gone. And if you allow kicking for one reason, you open the flood gates to every SOCOM brat wanting to be able to kick team or squad mates at will. Kicking is a bullshit means for teammates to turn on each other and to not have to play with people they don't like. This game is about teamwork, not liking the people you play with. If a nonpartisan entity (i.e. the game itself) punishes the offender harsh enough, then there is no need for people to feel dejected by being kicked.
As for bounty systems for hunting down high ranked enemies, that sounds great. |

Yeah I could go either way with TK'ing, but I definitely agree with not kicking players. BF3 is the best example of how guys will just abuse kicking people. If it is implemented into the game it should be like MAG, and that was only tolerable because it had to be a group of guys voting to kick. |
