The new suits should be available as a redeemable item for those who already purchased a mercs pack. I could purchase another, but it is the principle here, as I would have waited to buy it if we were told new stuff would be added to t, doubling its value. I got in the beta early on and purchased the pack to support ccp. As an early adopter there should be som kind of reward, especially when you consider the amount of bugs and other issues we've all encountered on this journey. |

The AUR, booster, and other stuff is all valuable to you and worth the $20 price even discounting the dropsuits. You do not have a leg to stand on. You are not entitled to anything here. This is a separate merc pack and you are not losing out on any value from it on account of having bought the earlier merc pack. |

Like Fivetimes Infinity says, you're not entitled to anything.
Would you even say the same thing if CCP had just named the pack something else, but it had the exact same stuff (+ the MAG dropsuits)? |

But it is the same thing, but with extra added. Wouldn't have a problem with it if it was only the new dropsuits, but this is a slap in the face of early adopters |

How? I got exactly what they were selling me. They are now offering a new product. I know this might be hard to understand, but you do not deserve anything more just because you want it. |

Those same things still have value. The extra 40,000 AUR is worth the same to you as the first 40,000 AUR. The 30-day skill booster is still worth $15, just like the other 30-day skill booster you have. Even discounting the items and dropsuits, the AUR and booster alone make the merc packs a bargain and are worthwhile purchases if you see yourself playing Dust for a while. The fact that there are extra dropsuits added is just a nice bonus on top. |

No it isnt
We still get stuff to use and the items we get are worth more than what you pay for them, if you dont want the dropsuits dont buy it simple as
Just because you were invited into a closed beta doesnt mean you get dibs on anything, you were invited not entitled to anything
Invited doesnt not mean entitled

your telling me, I bought a HD6950 9 months ago from a store for -ú240. I see the exact same card now for -ú180. I called them and the cheeky Kittens wont refund the difference. What a Cruel, Cruel world we live in. To make the matter worse the 6950 also come bundle with Dirt 3, not only will they not refund the difference they wont give me a free copy of Dirt 3.
I went to there forum and whinge and winged and cried and cried and cried and still i cannot get my stuff.
ITS MINE IM ENTITLED i tell them but there ears are closed.
I went to trading standards, they are useless. they tell me i dont have a leg to stand on. I told them i have 2 and last time i checked the both worked fine, but disablitiy or not im entitled "is it no discrimation to give legless people stuff thats added to a deal after a purchase but noone else" I ask them. Standard business model man. Promotional sale = people spend money. Eventually people stop spending money. New promotional sale with more/better stuff = People spend money again. Some time after this merc pack deal there will be another one with more/better stuff..... to get people to spend money again. Welcome to consumerism. |

I really have to say this is a failed business model by CCP. Many people out there who thought a second merc pack was worth it already got it. Like me. I personally am not going to spend my money on something I already have. I was excited A new merc Pack hell ya I am going to get a assault or a heavy suit maybe a cool logic. .And some different typies of perm guns and maybe a passive booster. But nope it is the same crap.
Come on CCP actually make a new merc pack so it is worth buying not the same old thing with the extra suits. All you did was really just **** over people who previously bought merc packs. But I understand your just trying to squeeze as much money of this merc pack as you can. |

Their value is dimisnished. If the merc pack was available and allowed for a choice between a scout, logi or assualt suit, I would have picked logi. This new one gives you ALL of them, for the same price.

9 months ago as opposed to a few days ago. There is a big difference. It is not a separate merc pack, but the EXACT SAME ONE, with extra stuff tacked onto it, that nearly doubles its value. Suppose I sold you a car, and the next day, sold the EXACT SAME CAR, but with luxury features for the EXACT SAME PRICE. If you didn't come back to me and try to get the added features I would think you are a fool. The more consumers bend over the more they get ******. See "gamestop" |

i'm confused by CCP post anyway. if i dont buy the new merc pack, am i still able to get those MAG dropsuits?
"If you purchase the new Merc Pack between 11:30 GMT Sept. 27th - 11:00 GMT Sept. 30th, you will also qualify to receive additional bonus items listed below..
The bonus Tribute Dropsuits can be redeemed in-game during the promotional times from 11:30 GMT Sept. 27th - 11:00 GMT Sept. 30th each valued at more than $6, so be sure to login and get them right away!
Note: if you donGÇÖt redeem the items during the promotional times listed above, you will have to contact our customer support staff at [email protected] in order to receive the bonus items."
okay, so if we buy it, we qualify to receive them. however, can others who dont buy the merc pack still redeem these during the promotional period? if i play during the promotional period, am i redeeming them or receiving them anyway? i hope so. i want one. how do they put a monetary value on a digital dropsuit anyway? $6 for a single suit? lol no way |

Because the 20$ spent on it yesterday is not the same as 20$ spent on it tomorrow, so if taken together, each item in it is worth less. |

No it shouldn't. By your logic, you would get every merc pack released because you bought one. This does not make sense. This is a special promotion only. You wouldn' t expect to get that free ham that the grocery store is offering for purchases of $100 or more over the weekend simply because you shopped on the Wednesday before, would you?
If you are looking for a reward as a beta tester, those come from the events. For example, the Skinweave suits. Also, you get to have a character with a birthday publicly visible that comes from before the release date. CCP has also already promised other special goods not yet released specifically for the beta testers as a "thanks" for the testing. This just happens not to be one of those things. |

Many stores will honor things like that. If they wanted to do a special promotion, it should have had OTHER items in it, not the exact same ones I purchased. I now have to purchase those same items again, because thats the only way these suits are being offered. Lets not forget that these are permanent level 1 suits, which puts other people starting out at a severe disadvantage.

I'm not sure about the US, I just know that here in Norway I could probably make all sorts of trouble for CCP. Not that I'm gonna bother for $20, but we have a law about yields on things, where the yield of a product should fall to the consumer if the price gains a yield BEFORE delivery.
As I see it, delivery is at launch. They changed a product before launch, I bought the product, by Norwegian law I should be entitled to the upgraded merc pack, depending on the definition of when "delivery" takes place I suppose.

There is a lot of complaints about not having gotten these extra items in previous purchases, but I fail to see why you would not buy the new pack, in fact why you would not buy multiples? Buying the pack makes me believe that you plan on continuing to play for a while. If you are going to be playing for a while, you will make use of things like the AUR (which comes discounted) and the booster (30day? yes please). Pack #1 purchased will give me the suits, cool. Packs 2+ will give me the AUR/Boosters, plus it will give me collectors items (which you won't be able to get later) which I will then be able to sell in-game for MASSIVE amounts of Isk. I bought two of the first Merc pack, and will be purchasing at least three of the current Merc pack.

I've worked in retail for years prior to my current profession, and am a consumer daily. I have never seen a store honor what you are suggesting when it is a special promotion. Note the word "special". This is a give away for purchases made during a certain window. You are not entitled to this unless you make a purchase in that period of time. |
