Test has just lost its training wheels by their own account, They have asked us in the CFC to stand back and take the training wheels off so they can forge their own way in New Eden now.
I admit, we'd still jump to TEST/HBC's help if they needed it, but they proved in the south against AAA recently that they can do it and now's the time for them to really make a go of it.
Honestly, TEST have admitted to having the training wheels on themselves until the last month or so. They really are still new on the scene when you compare them to the CFC of AAA or whoever. |

Goon's are complicated, very much so, especially when you see things from the inside and the outside, a lot of people will tell you once they play with goons they would never play with anyone else, we take very good care of our own.
The reason i'm offering you sensible advice is because i want the game to work and i want some good Dust corps to rise up so we either have someone great to fight or so that if there's no goon interest in the game in the way we have with Eve we have someone to hire and throw several trillion isk at to fight for us.
EDIT: In the context you're using, yeah we admit to being bad but that's because we have a very close community, we don't recruit people based on their in game ability, we recruit people base on their culture, a large number of goons actually only play EVE because of articles they have read about us on PC gamer or Eurogamer or somewhere and some of them don't even really play games, they just want to be part of something great and do their bit to contribute to Something Awfuls assimilation of the EVE community and to enjoy the tears that we farm while doing it.
We do honestly have some of the best players in the game, but we have a lot of casual players and some very bad players and we play it up to be a much bigger thing than it is too because its propaganda, people expect idiots and dont get that when they fight us and that alone gives us an edge, without out money or our number or anything else.
97% of what you read about Goons is propoganda, we made the meta game what it is, when we first started playing EVE everything was E-HONOUR and Bushido ****, now it's all cloak and dagger because of our results or more specifically, because of the results of our fearless leader. |
