The title says it all.
I know this has been discussed over and over but nobody formally "requested" it so I did it.
P.S. Please don't +1 me because I don't want to get credit for this thread: disable aim assist is a popular request, vox populi. |

Well, there's no aim assist in KZ3, so you should be doing better unless you have better aim with the sharpshooter. |

First of all there is no aim assist on this game but your skills can increase your accuracy which you might interpret as aim assist. |

Aim assist at this point has actually gotten me killed a number of times simply because it likes to "stick" behind a target. At this point, I'd rather have it gone, but even then I'd rather be using a mouse. |

There is no aim assist, it's lag and bad hit detection and weapon accuracy. Look at weapon stats and you will see the accuracy of them. As previously mentioned there are skills to increase weapon accuracy which I will probably train once I get more important skills trained first. Not all bullets fly straight. |

I genuinely wish there was something in the game like this, but I have not noticed it and find myself having to manually move that bloody dot over to the guy's body with every single shot. |

There is definitely aim assist in the game. I know for a fact that in the last build I could consistently hit enemies with my shotgun (even though it didn't always do damage, and with the horrible hit detection). In this build, my crosshairs jump all over the place when facing more than one enemy and if the enemy I'm targeting moves so do my crosshairs, most often disproportional to how much the target moved. |

There is definitely some form of aim assist in the game. I really notice it with the SMG at mid ranges. The crosshairs will 'walk' with the target if they're sidestepping. This isn't a good thing, because if I try to aim myself it actually makes me miss (as it causes overcorrection). Predicting when this will kick in is a bit annoying.
It seems nonexistent in the Sniper Rifle, and the Assault Rifle seems to only really stay stable if the target is in point blank range. Not sure if this is due to the aim assist or not, but I've actually had the shotgun randomly (and sharply) aim up and well over the target's head just as I pull the trigger.
In short, when I notice it, it's a problem. I have noticed that at short ranges, the SMG actually hits far better. I'm also not sure if it's suit specific, as I didn't notice it until I started using the Dragonfly and it seems to not be there with the other suits I've used. |

Not a great shot here, but I have noticed this too with SMG. The game really seems intent on helping me to aim just to the side of my moving target. If I am not already dead on in the first place I am either shooting the air right by an opponent or the reticle goes flying off toward the sky or ground.
But yes, if you can sneak up on someone while they are just standing around, get close enough to steal their wallet, aim and fire, SMG can't go wrong. |

Ive used alot of guns including the smg as back up and I still dont feel the aim assist at all for just about no weapon. I have to fight the climb plus moving targets in order to hit anything which is why i love people who just try to bum rush me instead of smartly attacking from behind cover. |

I've wondered about the diagonal crosshair which sometimes shows up and I've grown to assume it is some sort of auto aim.
There is clearly uncertainty about whether there's auto aim or not at the moment. Might be the case that as Move is so poorly implemented at the moment, auto aim is on for move users.
I suggest everyone telling about their auto aim experiences that they mention which control method they are using!
And for CCP, please answer: 1) is there auto aim in this current (e3) build? 2) If yes, will control method affect it being on?
My opinion is: NO for auto aim. I use PS-controller (tested move) |
