I haven't bought that much AURUM and I was at level 8 when they put the levels in.
Apparently playing the game for ages and ages will get you there eventually.

I think i'm not lvl 4 and I'm playing since chromosome (with some month breaks) and I never bought aurum. But I'll verify when I'm back from work. |

I've been here since Summer '12, with a couple breaks. I've purchased a small pack or two (can't remember what it was called) in the past, but still 1158 points to reach 4 with probably 10+ matches a night for months on end. I have four "racial" characters I've played enough get multiple Pro suits and weapons on each, and they're all pretty much Rank 1.
Reality is the original Rorschach.

Components, Keys, Boxes, Militia gear (lol) / end of match rewards, ISK, Salvage. And the most important of all Experience.
How many did I get?

- login... create character... sell X items X warbarge components for 1 isk to "principal character"... biomass... 9 hours later... delete and repeat.
Maybe Loyality rank 3 could work... but no recruits !!! or one-day characters.

Been playing with this character since Spring 2014, stuck on Level 2... Missed a few months of game play(after Rouge Wedding and summer break) and never bought arum. No player trading for me :(

Pretty much guarantee that new players won't get to participate . I understand the reasoning, but its pretty stupid. Not many people is going to pay for a basic feature that many rpg online games already have from the get-go. |

Boosters aren't given out from beginner tutorials anymore.
I concede that there are mlt BPO's to be made, but they aren't worth the effort put in to obain, and only a handful of people have bothered with them.
The proposed restriction weighs against not just newcomers, but all who haven't spent a cent, yet show dedication to the game. Look and behold the examples of core players with level 2...

mwhahaha dude I've been playin since summer 2012 and i'm at loyalty rank 3 which is kinda ridiculous, people in EVE can trade no problem. Yes I understand this is a free to play game and it would be EASIER for scammers if there were no restrictions but getting to loyalty lvl 4 and above from where I am seems to require plenty more no lifing than I already have done and plenty of $$ for Aurum.
I did take a long break from Dust after fanfest 2014 but still damn being stuck like this is kinda ********.
So to me its looking like pay to unlock another part of this game that separates this fps from many other fps games or start playing a **** ton more of this game but that won't happen since I only play 4-5 matches whenever I decide to give Dust514 a try for a day.
Should Legion be on the ps4?

I am rank five and halfway to six. Been playing for a long time though and pretty much spent the majority of the time on one character. May have gotten to six already but college took up most my time for a while. It isn't impossible but it will take a lot of grinding.

Not one merc pack lol, my money went to art tools mostly. Pretty much everything I have now I got just from grinding it out. I would sneak in a few games while taking a break from studying and just kept repeating that over the years. What a grind...lol.
I don't always win 1v1, but when I don't...I cry for nerfs. Stay nerfing my friends.
