Components, Keys, Boxes, Militia gear (lol) / end of match rewards, ISK, Salvage. And the most important of all Experience.
How many did I get?

Boosters aren't given out from beginner tutorials anymore. I concede that there are mlt BPO's to be made, but they aren't worth the effort put in to obain, and only a handful of people have bothered with them. The proposed restriction weighs against not just newcomers, but all who haven't spent a cent, yet show dedication to the game. Look and behold the examples of core players with level 2...

Yea, so, for Newsletter goodies your character would have to have been created before the actual corresponding newsletter.
