Yeah, it was a bit different in chrome, but I still really remember the feeling of not knowing what was going on, and not being able to do jsck squat. Even though there were less full proto bears, some of the best and scariest of the old corps used to run rampant through pubs. People fcking around and not trying are most certainly not symptoms of stomping; they're symptoms of a "I got mine" attitude that this game's community & flawed design fosters. This sh!t has been happening since at least the start of open beta and that was when most people were really excited about this game. When people could go into a match and not see a single proto and in my opinion when matchmaking was at it's best (didn't really have a system in place at the time). Yet each match had people that just fcked around and were otherwise not trying on both sides but sadly one side always had more than the other which has had a snowball effect to where one team has 1-6 people not trying while the other has 10-16 people not trying. Even when I'm fcking arround with my dual PLC I still try my best to carry my team and win! I think players should know when they can run fun fits and when they have to be serious, even in pubs. Believe it or not, what I underlined is true. So many times I lost while all my opponents were garbage because my team was not even trying/even more garbage! Some stomps (not all of them) wouldn't be a thing if everybody in a team would stop fcking arround or play for the win.. Rise? That's what they used to call me. Sequal Rise. That was my name. What i'm saying is that the gap between std - adv is much bigger than adv-pro, so 5 adv guys would help a lot. I'm not talking about sentinel ofc. They can use militia. In conclusion i'll once again say something about proto : 1. There's nothing else to spend isk on other than proto. 2. When someone is running solo proto gear is the best option to not die within 10seconds from enemy stompers. Most players don't play FacWar or PC, so pubs are the only place they can play the game as it was intended. This is why I used to rage about AFK, it completly ruins the experience for others. If you are jacking in the red line, or running LoLMeleeSentinalFit, you are ruining the fun for someone else. I have taken that claim on faith and I have stopped AFKing but I still really doubt that is the majority opinion or that opinion is a reasonable one to hold, Clearly there are large numbers of people that treat the game like GTA V, or way to annoy people, or to practice tactics for PC, objectives be damned, I started the game because the AV pack made the game sound interesting, You blow up tanks with a big gun, that sounded like fun, If you read the description It does not discuss team play at all, You are also told the being in coroporation and playing PC is the team play component of the the game, Isn't it the other players fault if they don't play FW or PC.
