Their hubris fueled the emotions that got the first 6 American warships built and started the American navy which then took Their place as supreme naval power. After the economical collapse caused by massive trade bans from both France and America. And losing multiple warships to our new fleet did not help.

Ps the first 6 American frigates were made with white oak native to these lands the materials we used made them vastly superior
Their design was also a stroke of genius giving the more speed and durability than the frigates of the time. One of those ships was built a short walk from where I live.

Our frigates captured countless ships for every one of them we gained 3 or 4 inferior English vessels

After a few years of playing battlefield, I have become very good at judging distance in meters.

Being in a science major, I only use English units when I'm forced to. The only unit I have trouble conceptualizing is Km/h. Damn cars.
