And IDGAF how cheap or easy building your own gaming rig is, or how much awesomer than a console it will be. I own 3 computers. I have a very nice top of the line Mac with a big ass screen and everything. But I don't play games on it. Why? I want come home after a 12 hour day, sit down on my motherf*cking couch, put my feet up on the coffee table, pop open a beer, and shoot some bastards in the face on my HDTV with 6.1 digital surround, like God freaking intended it. So do us all a favor and stop trying to convince me that I'm stupid, incompetent, or cheap, and that's why I don't want to play legion on a PC. And please get it out of your underdeveloped mind that this is the only or even main reason people are mad about this. o7 I'm out. See you on the other side. psn: bobswerski

I really hope they manage to port it to PS4 as well, I really do, but for right now, PC is what will allow them the flexibility and breathing room to actually bring us the original vision. I was sold on that vision, and I was just about to set DUST down for good because I knew it would never be able to live up to that vision. CCP restored my hope with Legion. I'm still skeptical, I still have no plans of throwing my money at them any time soon, but for me, I couldn't ask for better news (again, not HOW that news was given) It sucks for console only players, no doubt, and they have every right to be upset. However, I think CCP made the right call here, if from no other perspective than a business one. DUST would never compete with next gen games. Legion will give them a run for their money. LONG LIVE LEGION!

Ive been reading the eve forums for the past few days and im sure you guys are the ones that need to get re educated, all of us ps3 players knew it would die on ps3 thats why we were hoping for a ps4 version, but of course you idiots on the eve forum kept having the idiotic mind set that we wanted this to stay on a piece of junk old console and yet doing so you guys did nothing but stroke you're close to non existent p**nises. I almost died laughing at that one post where a eve player thought that proto gear was "pay to win"and thats why a sub should be in the legion.

I was trying to figure out what games could be better on consoles... Platformers? You can plug a controller into your PC. Couch co-op games? You can plug your PC into a TV. Those ******, terrible Xbox Live Arcade titles? Hrm, maybe, I mean obviously there's flash games on the PC, but even then most of them aren't that bad.

I 2000% agree I have a gaming rig, ASUS Republic of Gamers Edition G75 X and I only play my total war collection, train sim and sim city 5. I do all my gaming on the PS3 and PS4 . Love the PlayStation 4 just waiting on the games. I like consoles more, Can't wait til the Steam controller comes out for the pc thats gonna be awesome.

I pulled my PS3 out of the closet to play DUST. I set it up at my PC in the most screwed up possible so I could just play it without going over to my TV. I am not a "PC gamer" or a "Console gamer"; I play whatever the hell I want if I like regardless of the system. I still feel like you are missing a bigger point that I am trying to make. I understand that saying that is insulting, and I apologize. Allow me to explain in a different manner, again only with the utmost respect. Company: "We are working on this product. It is going to have cookies, robots, unicorns, connection to League of Legends, free beer, etc." Me: "That sounds pretty good. I will support that product." some time later. Me: "This product doesn't have all that. Are you working on it?" Company: "Yes, we are working on it. It will have it all as we continue to develop it." Me: "Okay, sounds good." Company: "Welcome to Company Fest! We are pleased to announce a new product that will have cookies, robots, unicorns, connection to League of Legends, free beer, etc." Me: "Woah! What about the other product?" Company: "That product couldn't live up to our promises so we are starting a new project that will." Me: "What about my money and time?" Company: 24 hours later "We will see what we can do." It is a bait and switch. It has nothing to do "DUST was supposed to be a console game!" for me; it is "this game was supposed to be what it said it was going to be but now it isn't going to be what they said it was going to be and a different product will be what they said this one is going to be." If I say "buy the red car if you like to go off-roading", you buy the red car but see that it can't go off-roading, are you going to be upset when I say "buy the blue car if you like to go off-roading; red car is something we will work on"?
