Get a long HDMI cable.
Put your PC in the living room.
Put that cable in your second HDMI slot on your PC, run it to the TV
Get a wireless PC controller, or one with an extended cable.

(I feel for you, it sucks, but it was inevitable. PC / maybe next gen consoles are the only way the vision of DUST will ever be realized. That's the simple truth) That brings up another question, what could possibly make you people think that anyone expected Dust to stay on the PS3 forever? That's idiotic... much like putting my PC in the mythical part of my living room where it would get proper ventilation, my wife wouldn't ***** daily about it being an eyesore, or my kids wouldn't spill juice on it.
And what could possibly make you think that Legion will stay on the PC for forever?

I'll be the last person to defend how CCP went about all of this, all I'm saying is that for me, personally, this was basically the best case scenario. I really hope they manage to port it to PS4 as well, I really do, but for right now, PC is what will allow them the flexibility and breathing room to actually bring us the original vision. I was sold on that vision, and I was just about to set DUST down for good because I knew it would never be able to live up to that vision.
CCP restored my hope with Legion. I'm still skeptical, I still have no plans of throwing my money at them any time soon, but for me, I couldn't ask for better news (again, not HOW that news was given)
It sucks for console only players, no doubt, and they have every right to be upset. However, I think CCP made the right call here, if from no other perspective than a business one. DUST would never compete with next gen games. Legion will give them a run for their money.

I imagined it going to the PS4 first...Easy transition. Another console by the same creators.
Except the PS4 resembles a PC far more than a PS3. It would be much easier to port a fleshed out next gen game from PC to PS4 then an old, buggy, outdated PS3 game to the PS4

Yes, I am going on and on like a broken record about the lack of respect. HOW can you have seen the "DUST 514" keynotes and panel and not feel disrespected?
It's not that DUST isn't going to be what it was promised, it's that DUST CAN'T be what was promised. CCP was wrong, they made a mistake, and this is them owning up to it. It certainly sucks and they're going to be dealing with the fallout for a while, particularly how it was announced, but for anyone who got into this game on the original vision: this is what we wanted.
I really feel for you console only players, but there is still hope for a PS4 port once Legion is a real game on the PC, so there may be hope for you yet.

I pulled my PS3 out of the closet to play DUST. I set it up at my PC in the most screwed up possible so I could just play it without going over to my TV. I am not a "PC gamer" or a "Console gamer"; I play whatever the hell I want if I like regardless of the system. I still feel like you are missing a bigger point that I am trying to make. I understand that saying that is insulting, and I apologize. Allow me to explain in a different manner, again only with the utmost respect. Company: "We are working on this product. It is going to have cookies, robots, unicorns, connection to League of Legends, free beer, etc." Me: "That sounds pretty good. I will support that product." *some time later.* Me: "This product doesn't have all that. Are you working on it?" Company: "Yes, we are working on it. It will have it all as we continue to develop it." Me: "Okay, sounds good." Company: "Welcome to Company Fest! We are pleased to announce a new product that will have cookies, robots, unicorns, connection to League of Legends, free beer, etc." Me: "Woah! What about the other product?" Company: "That product couldn't live up to our promises so we are starting a new project that will." Me: "What about my money and time?" Company: *24 hours later* "We will see what we can do." It is a bait and switch. It has nothing to do "DUST was supposed to be a console game!" for me; it is "this game was supposed to be what it said it was going to be but now it isn't going to be what they said it was going to be and a different product will be what they said this one is going to be." If I say "buy the red car if you like to go off-roading", you buy the red car but see that it can't go off-roading, are you going to be upset when I say "buy the blue car if you like to go off-roading; red car is something we will work on"?
I'm not arguing any of that, and I've said time and time again this past day that CCP couldn't have possibly handled this worse.
All I'm saying is that if the DUST IP is to succeed, it needs to be moved to PC for development. We NEED Legion. I don't know what can be done for console only players who poured money into DUST hoping it would somehow break free of the constraints of the PS3 and become something more. All I can say is that I hope for a PS4 port soon, so console gamers can get in on the action and keep their characters as the game evolves.
I'm not trying to defend CCPs actions leading up to this point, I'm merely agreeing that moving forward, this is what has to be done.

You must be easy pickings if they "restored hope" to you with that announcement. I've seen you be critical of dust before but between your name and the wings of legion thing I'd assume more of a fanboy than anything. They didn't need great graphics. What they had was a good idea. They just couldn't follow it. They delivered the news in the worst way possible. Nothing good will come from this. Fail developer is fail.
Don't let the door hit you where the good lord split you.
I've said numerous times I don't agree with how they handled things, merely that Legion is the inevitable evolution. PS3 is a dieing system and keeping the DUST IP attached to it is the fast track to failure.

No skill involved just fittings that's it. A FPS Is totally different i have zero faith in CCP when it comes to shooters. Just look at Dust and all it's issues. Making Dust part 2 on PC Won't fix the issues CCP have with coding and core gameplay. Real talk they should stick to point and click games
I'm more than happy to wait and see. Won't cost me a dime, so it's really no skin off my back.
