You know, I think every time I see a new player I am going to criticize them for not running advanced gear that they haven't skilled into and can't skill into yet because it is obviously there fault for not running the gear they don't and can't run. If these people had advanced gear, I am sure they would be running it. And the elite players who are running around in militia gear to make isk aren't complaining about getting protostomped. Also, here's a thought, why don't you start running advanced gear, instead of giving the newer players a much harder time then they should have while playing the game by running your proto gear in your decked out squads.

By watching all kinds of videos this IS the truth. (Oh, and by even playing the game myself lol)
I just don't buy the explanation that so many of the players are new.

And besides I know for a fact (know many players) that many are so stingy with their ISK that they don't run anything above standard gear. That's their right of course but it negates every complaint about others playing with higher gear.

And btw, I only have 1 proto fit made which I rarely use. I save it for special occasions when I'm feeling like indulging myself.

Part of the reason I still only have about 40 million isk is because I have so many modules and suits in my inventory that I've bought too many of and still need to use up because I always change my playstyle. Also, if your main source of income is public matches, you can't afford to use proto, or even really nice advance gear. This gives all your viewers a false image of you in there heads, and this can lead to their disappointment if they ever play with you. At least Pyrex constantly emphasizes that he is not a top tier player and that he has bad games every now and then. Why don't you try uploading a video where you get completely stomped and see how your viewers react. To me it would feel more real and I would enjoy it more. Just an idea......

It's not like I just make videos and talk about stuff on top of them like pyrex. I use a specific fitting or tactic to show what it's like. The purpose of the video is about the gameplay, focusing on the action. I mean, why would anyone want to watch a dust gameplay video of me running back and forth across the map only to die after 3 minutes of running? And then have 10 of the 15 minutes of the video literally doing nothing but running around. There are a ton of reasons not to squad, they are all personal so there is no arguing or swaying of opinion. But one accepts the loss. CCP Logibro is awesome.

Dust ist so complicated, it takes me weeks to understand how some things worked. My first weeks of playing i had absolutely no clue what i am doing.
