And all AV to be balanced from that. This ^^^ Except maybe 1.5 clips for Swarms due to it's high ROF, and 2-3 shots from PLCs at it's coyyesponding tiers. And all on a 1v1 basis. I would say 2 clips, but only if the tank is webbed.
In our current vehicle model it's not about damage, it's about speed and the tanks being able to control incoming damage through their hardeners and extreme mobility.
if infantry could fire AV weapons from LAVs or if infantry had webbing grenades the tanks would be cooked.

Tankers want it to take coordinated teamwork by AV to take them out which is fine but only if it takes coordinated teamwork to operate a tank.
What I mean is remove large blasters, make small turrets easier to fit for tanks, and a kick feature so the tanker can remove any gunners if need be to recall or get gunners in who are on mic or in their squad.

That's when it frustrates me. They shouldn't be able to sit 10 meters away from multiple people without a fear in the world. Sometimes with two or three rail tanks covering the flanks.
I'm done with it, I'm just going to start backing out. They can stroke each other off for the duration of a match for all I care. That's not how we go about it at all. Stop bringing up insane hypothetical situations that tanks can't survive in the game.

The only question that really matters, and it gets consistently ignored is how long should it take a single AV person to destroy a tank? When people start having that discussion, then we are making progress.

5 Swarm 'swarms' at STD/ADV. 4 at PRO. 4 FG Shots at STD/ADV. 3 at PRO. 3 Plasma Cannon Shots at STD/AVD. 2 at PRO. 6 STD AV 'nades, 5 ADV ones, and 4 PRO ones.
1 person should solo an HAV if they are focusing on it for a little while. 2 people should have a much easier time. 3 people should practically instakill it.

3 Swarms at STD/ ADV. 2 at PRO. 2 FG hits at all levels. 2 Placon Shots at STD. 1 at ADV and PRO. 3 AV Grenades at STD/ADV. 2 at PRO

As someone who has run tanks to decent (Not great or amazing, but decent) effect, and as someone who has played the AV role to great effect (Only while using PRO gear vs MLT vehicles) and decent effect (VS STD vehicles), I think that a fair "Balance" would be as follows:
Against a MLT tank or DS: 2 players w/ MLT swarms 1 clip each, or 1 ADV swarm 1 clip w/ damage mods, or PRO swarms 2 shots w/ damage mods, (its a PRO swarm VS a MLT tank or DS), or ONE PLAYER USING MLT forge gun (3 shots landing), or adv forge (2 shots landing), or Pro forge (1 shot, I mean come on, its a PRO forge VS a MLT tank or DS)
Against STD tanks or DS: 4 players w/ MLT swarms 1 clip each, or 2 ADV swarm 2 clip each w/ damage mods, or 2 players PRO swarms ( 4 shots w/ damage mods, its a PRO swarm VS a STD tank or DS), or ONE PLAYER USING MLT forge gun (6 shots landing on tank, 5 on DS), or adv forge (5 shots landing on tank, 4 on DS), or Pro forge (4 shot tank 3 shot DS (DS are more mobile), I mean come on, its a proto forge VS a STD tank or DS))
It should take teamwork to deal with tanks and DS efficiently, and no one person should be able to totally dominate everything (In either AV or vehicle), but on the flip side, one person using PRO AV and a fit that costs more than the current MLT tanks should rightly be able to one shot said tank, at least with a breach FG.
Against ADV tanks or DS: (TBD, CCP took those away)
Against PRO tanks or DS: (TBD, CCP took those away as well)
This makes most infantry players have to team up to take down said vehicle, as well as forcing said vehicle to use infantry to its advantage, keeping it safe from the AV players. Tanks and DS should be a game changer, but not to the effect that 4 MLT tanks can roll in and dominate everything, leaving the blueberries sniping from the redline because they can't even kill one of them regardless of how many of them bring out their starter AV swarms vs the MLT tanks.
If these numbers seem way off, please bring a constructive idea to the table instead of just flaming.
