I don't use any type of AV or vehicles. Not my style of play. But I honestly don't see this one EVER being completely ironed out. Each side will QQ when the other is brought up a peg. Even if CCP somehow reaches some perfect balance between the two, someone will whine.

Enlighten us all. Because if i'm not mistaken it only takes 1 player to drive, shoot, and activate modules. Wow that is the same number it takes me in my scout dropsuit and my armor, shield, damage and speed is not even close to a tank.

I think it becomes an issue when a good tanker is parked in front of an enemy supply depot with 8 people lobbing grenades and swarms and remotes, etc. And he just kills and kills and kills until his multiple hardeners are down.

That's when it frustrates me. They shouldn't be able to sit 10 meters away from multiple people without a fear in the world. Sometimes with two or three rail tanks covering the flanks.

I'm done with it, I'm just going to start backing out. They can stroke each other off for the duration of a match for all I care.

It doesn't take a tank to kill a tank, it is a matter of effectiveness. Infantry can do it, and in certain situations can do it better than a tank can. Knowing which is which helps.

For me AV is the fact than vehicules can be destroyed.
Right now they can't if they have more than 10 IQ.

Vehicules Hp are good.
Problem is that hardeners should'nt exist OR be less than 30% resistance.




Plasma cannon should have WAY more damage.
Swarms lauchers should have faster missiles.

Generally anything can be OP in pubs

If tanks are in a much better place for a competitve mode then what happens when you nerf tanks for pub games? are they still balanced for the competitive gamemode?

If you won't balance them in PUBs, then don't allow them in PUBs.
