I was basing my earlier posts on what I was reading from other people when I said that a tank should be easily killed by other tanks, but seriously, if a 4.7m logi with standard grenades and some semblance of game knowledge can do it, why the hell are you crying with your proficiency 5 forge?

I love how people are actually trying to argue this post.

Like I said in another thread, I've dropped 4 tanks so far with Militia Swarms. It is literally as easy as just waiting for their Hardeners to go down.

Nope but I can tell you that I have been riding around in tanks since two days after 1.7 was released and have yet to be destroyed by AV grenades let alone standard ones. Also I can soak up lots of proto swarm and proto forge gun rounds without having to retreat. So yea I think any tanker with a brain can go against someone with standard AV grenades no problem. All that with 0 sp.

You could scrape all your kills in totally easy situations and come out on top, not every engagement reflects player skill. Definitely headless tankers. No way, really. You can't solo a tank while camping on nanohives throwing standard av grenades. That tank would move as soon as armor / shield gets too low. I repeat, headless tankers. Tank 514.

For me, a skilled tanker is, and I think I can name him here, Brick Tank: he doesn't look for a 1 vs 1 but is able to destroy 3 - 4 tanks in a row by outmaneuvering them. Same goes of assault. Nobody has a God-Aim. Some worse, some better but it's the maneuver that grants you a kill or a death. Mind you, the 1 vs 1 is almost always a matter of connection: the lower your ping, the greater chance to hit the target if he's strafing, the lesser chance to get hit. Tank 514.

I rarely see good tanks, just like before 1.7... 80% of the tanks I come across are mlt, most of which are sicas that I two shot with my rail. Lack of content makes stuff broken... You can beat stupid people with a scanner to death, but still I wouldn`t say the scanner is a viable weapon... Hav pilots that are at least not totally stupid won't fall to that mlt SL. I have killed 6 or 7 Havs with RE's but all of themwere stupid as hell or already heavily damaged by other Havs...Pilotswith a brain are nearly immune to infantry AV. The only good thing is some get careless for that reason and so you can kill them by chance.
