Nope but I can tell you that I have been riding around in tanks since two days after 1.7 was released and have yet to be destroyed by AV grenades let alone standard ones. Also I can soak up lots of proto swarm and proto forge gun rounds without having to retreat. So yea I think any tanker with a brain can go against someone with standard AV grenades no problem. All that with 0 sp. |

Not enough time has passed to tell for sure. I don't believe tanks are OP but I do believe they are ruining the game for a lot of people. Personally, I have a nice AV fit. But I want to shoot face damnit. They're ruining the game for people because they need a squad of 6 PRO-stomping try-hards to win, and cannot be bothered to squad with 5 infantry and 1 tanker. Yeah, I agree. Having a tanker in the squad helps tremendously. But that's not always an option. And I like how you scoff at the 6 proto tryhards when tanks are the ultimate tryhards. I don't see people running for the redline to save their suits... 
You deserve a +1 for that lol although I have seen proto suits go and change their suit to a cheaper one at a supply depot when I've almost killed them. |
