CCP need to make it that you have to hold circle for 30sec before you can jump out the tank.
If your tanks gonna pop you have no right to jump out the last the last sec.

You get Militia DROPSUITS for free with Starter Fits. You don't get free VEHICLES. And you CERTAINLY don't get free TANKS. They're cheap (until you fit... ANYTHING on them), but they are most definitely NOT free. |

I believe if you switch suit on a supply depot, you should have 50 EHP(25 Armor/ 25 Shield), no stamina and no Ammo. Then you have to wait for the supply give you ammo and your suit rep it self.

And you don't see the problem with this?
You can afford 3-4 militia tanks per battle (65k for mine with no BPOs equipped), and if you lose more than two you're doing something very wrong or the enemy just has their **** in order.

As a new player, you CAN load up on Militia tanks and do better than is reasonable for someone in Militia gear. But you're paying more than is reasonable for someone using Militia gear, and you don't get a full upgrade tree like someone in any other Militia gear in the game is able to get.
Vehicles get Militia and Standard. LITERALLY EVERYONE ELSE gets Advanced and Prototype on top.
ALL current vehicles need a slight nerf to PG and CPU so that a pure Militia HAV fit with a full complement of weapons and modules will be a challenge without a lot of skilling, but you can comfortably fit about a 50/50 Militia/Standard loadout on a Militia HAV. Standard vehicles should be able to fit a full complement of Standard modules and weapons with maybe a couple of Advanced or ONE Prototype item, or you can leave slots open to cram a couple more high-tier upgrades on.
Along with the above nerf, there will be room for Advanced and Prototype HAVs which are actually DESIGNED to fit the kind of loadouts we're currently seeing on half-Proto Militia HAVs and full-Proto Gunnlogis and Madrugars.
Give a small nerf to Militia vehicle HP while you're at it, and maybe a VERY small buff to AV to avoid Prototanks getting any more hate than those Proto-ed out Standard tanks we have now and we should be about right. |

Maybe a small hatched based animation for the tanks, climbing into the lav's and stepping into a dropship would fix this. As it is, it doesnt bother me at all. I generally kill the person and seal the tank if their one shot from dead and I see the icon change. Stole one today actually, even laughed as his teammates came around to kill me. Feels good to be able to die without spending your money on it XD

A player should have to actually climb in and out of their vehicle instead of being able to just teleport into it.

I die a lot with my tank, been play like this since beta, and guys call me **** for not jumping out (I have my value as a tanker even when I die).

That being said I always go down with my ship. Bad habit from battlefield about not letting the enemy have a chance at stealing my vehicle. Though both my gunners carry av grenades and swarm launchers plus those light railguns.
Animation will take to long for CCP to put in. Just make a simple idea to input in the game than big one. CCP take to long on anything big(LOL or small).

5 seconds seems better than 30. And I would support this only if you get kills when you blow a dropship up. They are hard as hell to destroy now but the pilot and passengers can still escape even after you technically blew it up. That is a stupid mechanic. Even a turret will kill me if I'm using it when it explodes but a pilot can still survive an exploding, burning ship crashing to the ground if he jumps out in time. Dumb.
Also most people bail out of tanks now because tanks are stupid cheap. If the cost was increased, tanks would be used smarter, and players would try to save their precious, costly tank. Not just jump out of one on fire so they can call in a new fresh one.
Also a delay between the time you exit one vehicle and call in another vehicle might help the spam problem and encourage tankers to not bail out of a dieing tank but rather try harder to save it. |

Yeah, and you can also step away from the turret. It's exactly like jumping out of your tank, but if you are in your tank and it blows up you die. Same as a freaking turret.

You're a good player...good enough that I think you've lost perspective on what the game's like for players in not in the upper echelons. I'd estimate that the lower half to two thirds of players in any given match get payouts around 160k to 180k...and no one's going to run an unfitted HAV, so militia fits actually cost ~80k. That's two per match, and palyers in the unskilled-average range can easily lose 3 or 4 per match. Militia is, and should be, priced for scrubs.
RDVs are a failed experiment - can't we just remove them from the game?
