On the contrary, tank speed is a VERY good thing. It means tanks have more of a "shock trooper" role. Come in, do massive damage, and leave for a minute of whatever. If you have a proto AV squad keeping watch it'll probably be pretty reasonable to kill these tanks but otherwise, if left uncontested, these things will be able to do good damage again! (which is what they wanted I believe).

Thats how I lost my third maduger of the day. I was harassing the hell out of a group at one capture point, their tank blows me to bits while it caught me in the middle of a reload ><

AV squads are the easiest units to kill in the game, they lack tank, speed and stealth.
One guy with a Militia AR and you can take half of them out no problem.
Madness is the emergency exit. You can just step outside, and close the door on all those dreadful things that happened.

Did FoxFour actually reveal the surprise? Because now you said that it remind me he hinted it was something that contains and that the surprise would be somthing like a picture... So it would be neat if they were to show a picture of the web equipment.

I dont disagee with that but thats a role that id prefer to see filled by some sort of fast assualt vehicle rather than the games version of a MBT which in my eyes should be for providing fire support to advancing infantry and breaking enemy positions and putting the hostile fortifications and fortified positions but thats a different topic and cant be talked about due to lack of content,
Either way thats all well and good i dont have problem as long as good AV can take out good tank, if it takes a tank to take out a tank we have a real problem that needs addressing but as ive said i dont know this to be true yet as i have yet to play this build.

Ill have to reserve judgement on this one, it really depends how easy they are to destroy, to add high speed to a unit that already has so many advantages against infantry it has to have something else lowered to be balanced.
If this becomes the game of troll tank 514, where they role in, blow the **** out if everyone and leave, this **** is going to get real old real fast. |

If your not pulling up on a tank with another player throwing av nades followed by swarms as they try to run then you are doing it wrong anyway.

All I see are solo av people butthurt they can't solo now. The tanks in ww2 needed teams to take out so clearly a behemoth 22 thousand years in the future will need two guys.
The problem isn't the tanks, its solo av barbarian's.

Someone's been drinking the tank coolant too often. Neither vehicles or AV are supposed to have an empirical advantage.
If so a squad with just two tanks on the field would already have 12.5% more equivalent infantry on the ground, vehicles are not a replacement for teamwork. Because of this, one tank should be a me to take out one AV guy and vice versa. |

You do know I was a Tanker in close beta. Right now it 1.5X faster now.
Why nerf the AV if the Tanker can move fast to cover now, unlike the last few built. Just wait till we get advanced tank back with that god speed. Tank 514
