Hmm Idk I think its pretty fair that only pilots get the respec and not infantry pilots have gone through hell and back. I really doubt that infantry players will skill into vehicles.

Have you asked every infantry player whether they want to skill into vehicles because they like what they'll be like with these changes? You seriously can't sit there and say that no infantry player would like to skill into vehicles. If that's the case then why would pilots want to skill out of vehicles? Force the refunded SP to be put back into the vehicle skill tree then.

Letting pilots skill out of vehicles, but not infantry into vehicles is so dumb and it has caused me to leave the game for good as I refuse to play a game where the players are treated like this.

So i spent over $300 since the official release in Jan and now the BPO's are going to start being removed. WTF. I have no use for the ARUM Suits, Guns, and Mods. I personally bought all the BPO's with the hope that CCP would keep to the way of New Eden and allow the owner's of Blueprints to use them for manufacturing, research, and invention. Dust514 should follow suit with EVE as far as the Blueprints go. CCP please get your S**T together. Dust is becoming a huge disappointment and im starting to feel like i should have never hit the download button.

Well you'd have no reason to have those blueprint originals if they would be prefecated. Obsolete as their modules won't exist anymore for greater gameplay reasons.
I prefer refund instead of lost money.


However, I'd like to know what exactly was refunded and for what AUR amount - that is NOT clear at all.
Were there really only four AUR vehicle BPOs that were removed?

Can you confirm what your plans for BPOs are in short term and long term? Because your statement leaves open the possibility CCP will just remove them later a little at a time. Stating "no plans for the immediate future" means that CCP does have plans for BPOs in the future, just not right now. Can we get CCP to go on record right now to guarantee that they will not remove any more BPOS from the game? From where several of us sit it looks a lot like CCP has decided on a tactic to rotate through BPOs using the name of "rebalance" to remove them. Rebalance is good. Taking Permanent items with out exchanging it for a comparable or better permanent item is a breech of trust.

We can all be fairly certain of rebalance regularly occuring. Because it happens in every game that "balancing" occurs to change the mechanics and make a new game fresh again with changes to the tactics involved. In a past life I worked as a director for a game company, I saw first hand from the inside how it works. Game Companies do it in all MMOs and FPS, its a normal part of game creep and its actually a good thing to make changes to re-balance the game.

However it appears CCP is going a step further and using balancing also as a means to remove BPOs from those who invested in a PERMANENT item. You are being sneaky about it, and taking just enough to get away with it and then you wait for a period of time and then you will return those modules with a slightly different mechanic and under a different name and then later do it again, rinse, repeat. Most of us do not want Aurum, We dont want ISK, we want PERMANENT Items in exchange for this loss of what could be considered worth a cost of use of Billions of ISK in the future.

I would like to get CCP on record here... This tactic smacks of Game Creep used to take stuff from those of us who invested early in your game and kept it going... The difference between me and some of the other complainers is I have a background in the business and I can articulate what the tactic is and the impact as social networks move away from the game in response. If word gets out that CCP has issues keeping their word and listening to players feed back... your game is not going to grow like it could.

In the end CCP has a breech of trust, and a responsibility to restore that trust by replacing those BPOs with comparable BPOs.

Is there any way I could get an actual SP reset? CCP I love the new adjustments you made...but now I have MILLIONS of unusableSP. I come back from about a month off line to see I can only use militia dropships. I had unlocked every dropship except the logistic gellente. I know you guys have alot of stuff to sort through but I would love to hear back about my concerns. Thanks
