I have been playing Dust since early closed Beta (June 2012). Tonight I had one of the most unique experiences so far in this game, and it was awesome.
Last night I decided to run some Caldari FW, did well, got invited to Caldari FW chat channel. I didn't think much of it at the time.
Tonight, things really opened up. It started with 2 squads Qsyncing, then 3, then 4 and then 5! We had 5 squads Qsyncing for Caldari and we had EVE support for our OBs. It was amazingly fun.
I called in my first strike from EVE...and got zero kills, it was a blind shot in the redline as we were crushing it. Next strike took out 5 guys and did 12,000 damage on the CRU, or so I was told. Called in about 5 strikes total from EVE side. It was a lot of fun just switching chat channels to where the EVE guys were waiting and I would say, "Titus ready for OB", and then they would lock on the district and then boom booms would come from the sky (they looked cool, different than the Warbarge strikes, I think we called in lasers)
I had a ton of fun and am really looking forward to the new FW system as it seems like it is going to be even better.
For the first time, I really felt like I was feeling how this game is supposed to make you feel, a part of something bigger, a part of New Eden. Playing with strangers in different games but engaged in a commonness together
Shout Out to a few folks but I am sure I am missing some Middas Bentancore Mr Tang Rageheavy Horus Forge plus many others

CCP Rouge is adamant that this should be a core focus, and I totally agree. If you think this is good, wait for LP, p2p markets, EVE-DUST ISK transfer capabilities, manufacturing, social structures...
Not many people realise it but the journey is what counts. We rush CCP for new content, new patches, more fixes, but all of us will miss Uprising, just like we miss some aspects of Chromosome. A few years down the track when everything's different, I hope you remember this experience. Lest we forget. We'll only realise how awesome this all is when it's too late to do any good.

we do the same thing for the Gallente!
Middas is so much fun that even though he fights for the state and TRIES to pick up players for Cal FW in my public channel, I still grab some pub matches here and there with him. :P
I wish all of you DUST players would get involved like this. Its so much fun, the interaction with EVE though minimal is great and regardless of Alliance, Corp or player if you're fighting for a faction its a great way to meet new squadmates in game that you can have a blast with. |

A lot, we got a few members who were advertising to established corps (we got some big names in there). I"m all thinking I"m hot **** when I picked up a few subreddit and PRO squads, but when I went in the channel after being off for about a week, there's like 8 other major corps there with 5 to 20+ something people there at all times.
I missed a good portion of the qsyncing today on account that I have been doing random squads and recruiting people who I've saw play well / good team play, and if they were die hard Caldari Loyalists I just generally throw them the channel name to hop in. I am also working on training new players who are interested but aren't up to speed yet. Not exactly sure how I am organizing them either, currently I am just operating in ad hoc channels, debating on creating something more permanent for more stability, as I'm looking for a medium to work with them before throwing them into what will eventually be low sec.

Yeah I like the laser light shows some of them were dropping. Too bad that one guy got ganked by gate campers lol. Yeah for you!
All the while the people on the other side were probably having the worst experience of their time on DUST. Because you see while pushing them back behind the redline and then OBing them to oblivion was fun for you it must have been extremely frustrating for them. Maybe even to the point of making them want to quit this game for good.
But hey at least you had fun, right?
Pffff, CCP needs to fix this kinda of crap.

Keep it up us Gallente like the close battles i'm to fat to chase people in the redline. Less lag than PC but real good fights. To all blueberrys get in there and fight we don't need 10 snipers in FAC WAR come down off the mountain and be part of something great.

In pubs, redline is the norm and good fights the exception.
My experience so far in Caldari FW has been that good fights are the norm and redlines the exception.
And in fact, the only reason I began playing Caldarwi FW is because I was seeking out better fights than the boring redlines. Most games have been quite close. I suggest if anyone else is seeking a challenge to check out Gallente FW.

In all honesty we don't do dates because they change too often, especially with a monthly release cycle. We are working on it now and we will ship it when it's done.
