It was genuinly interesting to see how many people actually ran a scout (and who was actually good.) Now, no one would care if a scout registry was made... I only play dust514ums now. It was always more fun than the actual game anyways.

And this suit has been doing well in Ambush, rivaling my performance pre-1.7 The biggest change apart from going from 2 plate 1 rep to 2 rep 1 plate is that the Injector has replaced the scanner in my equipment slot as pretty much a ghetto scanner (coined by my good friend Noobsniper the2nd) as it will give me an indication if a sneaky clacky scout is killing my blues in a 30m radius. It's also a nice way to get 60 free WPs. This is the fit. Sinwarden v1.8 L: Complex Armor Repairer L: Complex Armor Repairer L: Enhanced Armor Plate H: Complex Light Damage Modifier H: Complex Light Damage Modifier H: Complex Shield Extender LW: Viziam Scrambler Rifle SW: Ishukone Assault SMG G: C-7 Flux Grenade E: Wiyrkomi Nanite Injector CPU: 429/459 PG: 87/92 Shields: 223 Armor: 421 Armor Repair Rate: 12.50 HP/s I run it like a scout with no cloak, always sticking to cover and keeping mobile. Sadly enough it has approximately the same Shield and Armor values as my Gal Scout. Damage mods are still key, even more so now, to make sure the ScR can punch through as much armor as possible before switching out to the Sidearm to end all Sidearms, the Ishukone. Try it out and tell me what you think. This furthers my support for a regenerative style feature for assault suits, allowing them to constantly keep up the front lines given they have enough down time to regenerate their stuff, this makes the high value targets to take out quickly because if left alone they will outlast and destroy all the other frames. Personally I'm a fan of the legion thing and merging the assault and commando roles so the medframe assault has 2 light weapons and a damage bonus as well as the assault bonus, and then it actually being able to tank better than a scout. But that's probably not really going to happen in DUST, so really I think the most important thing is that assaults get a decent damage dealing ability (Gal/Cal bonuses are just lol) and are actually able to out-tank battlescouts. We ended up positioning ourselves on top of one of the D side Cargo Complexes on Line Harvest and burnt everything that dared show itself. It eventually got to the point where the enemy team actively called in tanks to come and deal with us. What they didn't know was a clever blue dot....shocking I know.... had positioned a Rail tank under the C side Complex. As those 2 Blasters came into range he blapped them and pushed off back around behind A where the enemy was spawning to look for vehicles being called down. As soon as this happened...and I am not sure why since we had a really nice spot..... we all decided to charge the remaining 20 enemy clones. Not one of us died...... was kind of like running into a wave of Space Marines for them I guess..... was just the four of us sweeping and clearing with Assault Scrambler Rifles and Lasers in some brutal CQC goodness. Possibly the best accuracy I have had while using the Carthum. Markdown:

Yeah, I got assault to 5 as well but I can barely break even with advanced, so no ak.0 for me in the near future. I also have prof 3 on the ScR, but am addicted to the LR (and I actually perform better since I'm out of other people's optimals a lot of the time). I'm currently saving for LR operation 5 so I can get some proficiency (melt through that shield even quicker so I can spend more time burning through armor!). After that I'd like some rapid reload and lastly some ammo, though two K2 (iirc) nanohives are enough for now. I haven't yet gotten so many kills without dying to exhaust both nanohives. I burn thru ammo like crazy, but I do a lot of area denial (hilarious watching a whole squad scurry after ALL of their shields evaporate) which is not a very efficient use of it, so I dropped SP Into ammo and rapid reload long ago. I honestly do miss it, used to be my bread and butter for a lot of my early career. Maybe I'll skill back into it eventually. On a side note, I've been overheating my Carthum quite a bit on my commando lately. It almost feels rewarding, like I am doing it right. I mean, if I can get into a situation where I can unload nearly two clips of ammunition into the enemy team with high hit percentage then I am doing my job. Amarr are the good guys.
