Although i think i might try a sidearm damage mod now that i look at your fit. You switched from flux to locus and from 1 shield extender to no shield extenders while i switched from locus to flux and almost all shield extenders in 1.8... the reason behind my flux now is almost everyone is running buffer shield extenders now since damage mods are not an option so its nice to take shield down... Flux will be your best friend for CR now, problem is increased TTK and Proficiency changes have made it so that if you waste all your DPS on the enemies shields you will not be able to finish off their armor before reloading/they kill you. Start your engagements with the flux and you should do well, carry an SMG too if you haven't already I still love the Amarr, although I run my scout suits a tad bit more I still think the ak.0 is the best assault suit in dust. And for a ScR specialist it is a no brainer to use So what suits did you go into vik? The Sinwarden

I think you get special mention for being damn good with an aScR on a non ak.0 but yes racial symmetry in 1.8 has become ever more important so i can understand your reasoning. The Sinwarden

Exactly, I think the biggest thing about 1.8 that not a lot of people have figured out yet is the importance of proper squad compositions. I only run my Amarr Assault with a proper squad, because when my squad needs killing to be done there is no better suit for me to wear than the Sinwarden. Anything less than a proper squad, I run my scouts. Basically; I am more dependent on teamwork when running the Amarr Assault now than I was before The Sinwarden
