I'll do what I can as well. My little one's name is Weston as well, great name  . Hope all goes well with Quick and his new addition to the family.
On as side note, in the lifespan of this game I have encountered much hatred, much ignorance, intolerance, and even prejudice people, but when one of us falls, or has a major issue such as this one for everyone to come together and drop differences in order to help it is very rewarding to witness. Now I know its only a game but some people here go to the far ends of the world in order to make it more than a game with the hate mail and the in game wars and the verbal abuse we inflict on each other lol. Just glad to see that in a serious situation we are able to remember it is just a video game and that we are willing to help. +1 for the Dust player community. |

1: Who says that they're not spending a huge chunk of their own cash as well?
2: Most people don't have 6 grand lying around the house anyway.
3: No parent should have to take out a loan just to have the privilege of watching their newborn son go through agony every hour of every day - those in a position to help, should. Even if it's just a dollar or a message of support. |

Friends with knowledge of the situation created the fundraiser, and brought it to the community here as well as other parts of their own families.
This is a noble cause, and trust in the fact I barely know QG IRL, but can most definitely tell you all this is REAL and anyone *cough* Vethosis *cough* that thinks otherwise seriously needs to be drug out in the street and beaten publicly for nothing more than lack of human compassion.
Everyone please keep QG and his family in your prayers, and know that every penny donated will help lighten the burden of the cost of medicine once baby Weston gets to come home!!

I just want to say thank you for everyone pulling together and praying and sharing the fundraiser sites.. THIS IS NOT A SCAM !!!!! just so everyone is aware the amount was picked by my 4 year old daughter she wanted to help when setting it up so I had her pick a number...thank you all so much and keep up the prayers and positive energy... There are a lot of non-profit organizations that can help you fund the medical bills, try to look for those foundations around your area there should be more than one willing to aid you during this hard time for you and your family. |

I was surprised myself ... considering it might be seen as a precedent for other peoples 'campaigns' n 'fund raisers' in the future ... but I like that an exception has been made since Quickgloves is a well known, long term, respectable member of the community.
