Ah yes, the common sentiment among those who rely on tens of millions of SP worth of passive skills and proto gear to be able to win in pubs. LOL So, tell me, how exactly does one "ADAPT OR DIE" in DUST? Should I just AFK my way to 20 mil SP, or just let my character sit on passive SP for a year?
do what you think is best but the 20 plus million sp ive earned is put to use very well. i dont just win pubs either. nor do i care if i win or lose the topic want about winning or losing. you dont like faction warfare then there is public matches or you can create new characters everytime you reach your 1200 wp max to stay in acadamy

Personally it is pretty funny watching folks call themselves important players because they're doing pc. That got a lollerskate from me dude, right on with the self righteousness. But yeah, crying about proto is funny. When I feel the QQ building up because golly gee my butt hurts from all the proto's butt-fisting me...I go...well gee...I'm sucking...then I put down my exoslashadvsuit.com and I load up my Protolollerskatesfreedom.jpg and i bellow "This is why we can't have nice things!" as I merrily begin unloading a massive ton of extremely ridiculously wide area of effect splash damage on all those pretty black suits and I make them go splat.

I posted links to the convo, which would clearly back up everything I stated to any who care to go read it for themselves.
I really don't care. Honestly.
How am I trying to prove another man's point? All I was doing was pointing out the hypocrisy in your OP by quoting comments you made contradicting yourself in another one of your threads, which I provided links to.
Maybe I am his girl . How does it make you feel to be not only proven a hypocrite, but trolled by a girl?
It was always idgaf, not my fault you can't tell when you're being trolled...

They limit fittings in this game to 30. With enough skills spread about, it's difficult to have a large set of PRO-quality fits, ADV-quality fits, and lower quality because you straight-up run out of space.
I experienced the fitting limit even when I hadn't skilled into suits. It was easy enough to have a fast scout fit, some regular assault fits, some AV fits, a cheap forge gun fit, and some logistics fits... and just run out of space.
Once you've skilled into a few weapons and/or suits, it gets worse. It's kinda surprising they haven't already fixed or addressed this, since at least one of the CCP staff that plays has gone "generalist" and is leveling up everything. To actually use all the stuff they skill into would easily make them run out of fitting space.
As a practical matter, unless you have a very narrow set of fits, if you've got various PRO-quality fits then you may not have space to have many really cheap fits for pubs.
There are threads about this in Feedback, but CCP already took note of it in a weekly roundup I think. When we might get it is anyone's guess. |

I agree with you but that doesn't mean we got to like your for it :P I've seen many times on the battlefield where a proto pub stomping team would lose to a bunch of randoms so it's not always one sided like everyone claims though it is pretty funny to see I've fought you on many occasions and would fight you again anyday it's more challenging to fight proto or at least good players cause even if I am fighting a team of proto players I'll give them hell before I die |

If sounds like you need to hop in a squad and ask your squad mates to fill some roles. I've never had more than 10 fits. Sometimes less is more. |

If someone doesn't get good at something after considerable experience they are an idiot, its that simple.

There is all kinds of fun to be had in this game and limiting your role is pointless. I focus my SP on my logibro. But I still have a cheap sniper/forge/scout/whatever. Because this is a video game. And it's fun. I would of quit already if I had to run the same **** all the time.... |

You obviously don't know Anon, He has spent a lot of time taking newberries and turning them into killing machines.
People can't assume they will jump on a FPS that is also branded an MMO and assume they will start killing the top level people's...
No lvl 10 in a MMO think's they are gonna take on a lvl 90 and do well.. With that mentality steel sharpens steel, the harder the competition with the better gear and you get decent result's? Well your personal skill only get's better everyday... and your situational awareness get's a work out like no one's business.

If sounds like you need to hop in a squad and ask your squad mates to fill some roles. I've never had more than 10 fits. Sometimes less is more. .... Sooooooooooo you're saying instead of enjoying the versatility of multiple roles you would rather rely on other people. I bet you're one of those people who complains non stop about tanks but can't be bothered to make a cheap forge gun fit... I wish people would stop making excuses for CCP. There should be more than 30 fittings allowed. Period. No excuses.
Overract much?
I've got AV fits bro. I just don't see how a person could navigate 20 fitting much less 30+
By the time you find the fitting you want you could have made a quick edit to one of your existing ones.
To each his own, I guess that's the infantryman in me. There's no way one guy could possibly carry everything for every possibility. So you spread it out amongst a squad.

And neither do we, but we will happily go on making fun of proto squads in pubs cuz it's like....UFC fighters going all out on a pile of kittens. It's just sad and funny and mesmerizing all at the same time. Best Analogy Ever Winning a match feels good. Winning a match going 26-0 feels even better. I'm telling you this because I don't think you have experienced it, and therefore don't understand why someone would run proto fits in a pub game.
I beat my 2yr old nephew 100-0 in basketball .. I don't start gloating to all my friends how awesome I am at basketball because I can beat a child who isnt even as tall as my knee ... the only peopel who actually feel this good about going 26-0 in proto gear are those people who spend so much of their time in life being the loser that they aren;t used to winning at all so when they do win they ejaculate all over themselves .. it's pathetic
Your in my alliance and as I say in Alliance chat .. run advanced/standard .. make the game fun, im not going to run around being a logibro for 5 proto's in a game of ambush .. it's boring |
