((this is an OOC suggestion for the Intergalactic Summit or "IS". Everybody who uses this thread knows they have an "OC", original character. But nobody really knows who that character is other than yourself. Maybe even you don't even know who that character is, so this thread is dedicated to get other people, not characters, to get to know your character a little deeper. Like background, origins, family upbringing and virtues. And many a snippet of their life that was humorous or something. Whadya think? When people approve and write there's below this one, or....something else, then I think we can make it official
BTW, this is OPTIONAL, want you character to be shrouded in mystery? Don't add him or write very little about him. At least write what they look like
Don't know what to write?
Here's some ideas, but not restricted to the follow, and of course all of them are OPTIONAL: What age does he/she/ze look like? Does he/she/ze have an close ones, loved ones, relatives? Who are he/she/ze's enemies? What's he/she/ze's usual, casual, or formal attire? Is he/she/ze a logistic, assault, commando, heavy, scout, pilot, etc...? What are his/her/zer background, goals, wishes, fears and qualities?
So....interested?)) |

Ah what the hell. I'll start.
approixmate age of standard clone is 24, long reddish hair, blue-green eyes.
not any more. just some friends, and we kill each other on a fairly regular basis.
Basically, the amarr as a whole, slaving bastards, the lot of them.
Normal attire is black pants with green flower petal designs, over natural leather boots, shirt is patterned black with angular markings that fade into spirals near the end, Long coat, inside lined with silk, exterior is leather, waxed, with my corporation's symbol on the back and the words "No Luck" written under.
Pilot first, duelist(assault with a pistol) second, heavy machine gunner distant third.
Family was lost to the "reclaiming" years ago. Shoved me into a shuttle and preset it for the nearest gallente refugee center and set it to warp the second it was out of the bay. Raised as an orphan I never once forgot the symbol on that ship.
Made all the wrong kinds of friends, ended up being given an ultimatum one day, shape up, or they'd ship me off world to some dead-end janitorial gig on a clone's ship where I'd probably die in a week. I took the third option of becoming an immortal by running, and fighting my way across half that city.
Ended up caught, sitting in a cell wondering if they'd kill me or just ship me off to die when a man walked up to my cell and offered release papers in exchange from some minor medical testing. Figured I was good as dead, and maybe even end up being able to escape from whatever facility they put me in.
Next thing I know, I'm waking up on a medical table being told to "remember why you fight, child. If you lose yourself for even a moment, you'll die" before I could even think on what that meant, there was searing pain, every single neuron in my body catching fire at the same time the last thing I remember seeing was that damned symbol again.
as soon as it had started it was over, I was inside some kind of tube, voices asking if it was a success. they kept saying that the subject had died, that it was a failure. I knocked on the glass to make some noise, my arm was too long and ended up going straight through. Scared the hell out of all those scientists.
They put me in a suit, handed me a gun, and said that I was immortal. Then on my first deployment, I met a tanker who really inspired me to fight.
The pistols come from back home, with my friends, they were simply the easiest things to get past sensors and reassemble later.
My goal is to find my family, or maybe one day take my crusade to the stars and hit the amarr right where it hurts.
I fear that I won't be able to save them, that I've taken too long and those fiends have taken their hearts from them, stolen their souls.
and as for qualities? I don't back down from any fight I deem necessary, though, I do try to avoid killing without reason. I am typically rather pessimistic, and I keep all kinds of things in my pockets. |

Will Post but Kador and Satja's lore is more of a saga than some standard background.
It ranges from his Death, to his troubled sense of Faith, to the loss of his allies on Iesa III, then on to the Siege of Oyeman where he was so psychologically scarred he cannot stand in the wide open air anymore, then on too his induction into PIE, the conflicts on Raa, his dealings with Father Camdem's abduction, the horrors of Sansha's nation, and then up to this current day. |

Demel Derpovsky's story and description.
Demel was always of a "more womanly" appearance, having a similar somewhat androgynous appearance. He is shorter than an average mercenary , being around 5'8''. Having a slender body, long dark brown hair that goes down to his middle back with some shorter bangs that sweep downwards and to the side of his face in a "bed hair" manner. His face is feminine with his charming cat like eyes with longer than usual lashes and a petite mouth. His cheeks though are masculine, despite their smooth and 'baby skin" face. He usually has a "sly" or "suspicious attitude due to his natural personality of being manipulative and his urban survival instincts from his gritty industrial "cyberpunk" home.
He doesn't have any relatives, I mean he does....but...he doesn't talk to them anymore after becoming a mercenary. Although he does have friends, mostly comprised of other mercenaries and the occasional civilian or pilot. He does however have an interesting relationship with Maximia Beflas, his coworker and ex-girlfriend.
Maximia and Demel met on the battlefield as enemies, had a chat, and later on exchanged information after finding interest in one another....before Demel shot Maximia in the stomach with his scrambler rifle, giving the clone's killing blow. They met up, dated, got into a relationship and all was good. Yet Demel was too manipulative and prefered to be more independent than Maximia, something she didn't want, and Maximia was often caught cheating due to the fact that she just, in her words "can't settle down". They split up and didn't talk to each other for some time. Later on, Demel formed "Derringer Defenses" as a small corporation, a little hobby and dream of his. Maximia though, broke contacted Demel about her situation, and was eagerly accepted into the corporation. Maximia being good with numbers and organization, dealt with finances and appointments for Demel and herself. Demel whoever, being more meticulous and cunning, did the "entrepreneur" work and was the figure of the company. They ended up having a relationship again, sleeping in the same mercenary quarters, but they prefer to be "coworkers and friends with benefits" than in a relationship, both of the comfortable with the idea. Just recently, Demel having a large amount of education in engineering and marketing, began creating covert and small "non-lethal" or "self-defense' civilian weapons, despite the guns being purchased by "gang-bangers" and thugs, they continue to sell the weak and quaint weapons, making a small, but healthy profit. Although, this is more of Demel and Maximia's hobby and "play-time". Demel draws the blueprints, Maximia tests and manufacturers the exports.
Demel was born from a Caldari mother and a Minmatar father, who lived on a remote gritty and industrial planet to escape the grip of the factions.

Now that this is in fiction, I can post. This is what I would consider a top-down view of Galm from the point of view of CONCORD. Yet despite the fact that he claims to be an open book, I think it is safe to say that there are still certain aspects of Galm that alludes even CONCORD eyes.
Quote:Preliminary CONCORD Report CONCORD Mercenary Dossier
Name: Galm Fae Known aliases: "Pixy", "Pixie", "Warrior Nine" Known affiliations: Former Mordu's Legion citizen, ex-member of Templis Dragonaurs, Seituoda Taskforce Command operative, Guardian Solutions military consultant Occupation: Mercenary (trained in light assault, engineering, and piloting) Height (Baseliner): 5' 8" Weight (Baseliner): 165lb Hairstyle: Bronze, medium length, dark stubble Eyes (Baseliner): Hazel Place of Birth: Mordu's Legion HQ Station, 5ZXX-K V - Moon 17 Race: Intaki-Civire Languages: Napanii and extremely limited Intaki
Faith: An eccentric belief he has dubbed "The Caldari Trinity" that borrows different aspects from Achuran spirituality, Intaki Ida, and the Caldari Way.
Overview: Galm's father was a long-time member of Mordu's Legion, having served under Mordu during the Waschi Uprising as a Caldari paramilitary. It was during this conflict that he met Galm's mother, an Intaki refugee. The two married in time, but were constantly kept apart because of contracts and difficult family issues. It wasn't until he accepted a desk job at Legion HQ that he was finally able to start his family, only to be tragically cut short.
Both of Galm's parents were killed when a bomb destroyed a tramcar filled with civilians. It is believed the terrorist responsible was a rogue Dragonaur determined to assassinate a former Gallente war criminal regardless of the collateral damage. Wrecked by guilt due to their inability to control their agents, the Dragonaur sleepers on the station executed the rogue terrorist to prevent compromising their operations and sheltered the young boy until they felt him old enough to reveal their true identity to him and formally welcome him into the Dragonaurs. Galm proved to be a valuable agent, feeding information of the Legion's involvement in the cluster to State Provosts right under Muryia Mordu's nose. Operations came to a halt however after a failed attempt to intercept a nuclear bomb leaving Mordu's Headquarters. Accounts very as to how exactly Dragonaur involvement came to an end in Pure Blind. Top analysts doubt if operations ever ended at all and insist Galm still holds close ties with former Provists across the cluster despite various contradictory reports.
Forced into hiding, the remaining Dragonaurs guided Fae into the Caldari State were he joined up with the STC as a candidate for the State's immortal soldier program. Galm continued as a member of the STC until a botched mission in the Kor-Azor Region, causing him to desert the Taskforce and drift around the universe for an extend period of time.
Eventually, he wound up competing in Gladiator matches in a Gurista spaceport, were the remaining mercenaries of BetaMax signed him onto the newly formed Guardian Solutions.
Note: Psychological reports suggest a history of dementia due to faulty implants and boosters. Long term damage might have an effect on overall mental health, but no investigations on the matter have been organized. |

Since I have to I'll describe them here.
Name: Kador Ouryon Age: Cloned 28, Biologically speaking he is 37 Rank- Templar Crusader Social Status- Praetorian Templar, Citizen Political Status- Aligned with House Sarum, Religious Reformist Appearance- Kador is of medium height with official estimates placing him between 5'10" and 6'. His hair cropped short, and is a dark shade of brown much like his eyes, he has an aquiline nose, thick eye brows, and well defined Amarrian features, (much like what you could consider an ancient roman to have had). He is slightly stockier than most Amarrian males, well defined and enhanced musculature, his physique is more that of a brawler than a runner. Quirks- Intense Agoraphobia
Name Satja Askarin Age: 22 Rank- No official military rank Social Status- Slave (Serving Templar Crusader Kador Ouryon) Political Status- Aligned with House Sarum, Anmatar Sympathist Appearance- Thin and lean by all standard. Satja is stringy, but in a muscular manner, in a manner many people might consider unattractive, she is by no means a galactic beauty, though under the right light her face takes on a life of its own. She has cascading raven black hair, full lips, with skin darker skin that is rich sun swept ochre. Her lips are full, on an almond shaped face, wide eyes, long lashes. What perhaps defines her more these days is how she wears her hair, it heavily favours her right, the long cascades covering the right shoulder and back, the left side being entirely exposed. This is due to her scarring from her younger years on Iesa where Kador saved her pulling her back to the shuttle during a blood raider attack. Quirks- Hates the sight of blood and suffering, feels a compulsion driven by her own scars to help in field hospitals.
Kador was Arkborn, a term for an Amarrian born aboard one of the Ark Class Carriers of the Empire. While is father Erdaeran Ouryon was serving the Empire abroad as a merchant sailor for Imperial Arms Shipping, Kador and his mother Anyithia, spent their days peacefully in the Sarum Prime System. At the age of 12 Kador's father was the victim of hate crimes within the Minmatar Republic while acting as a foreign dignitary, and was beaten to death by a gang of protesting Brutor Tribe, against the establishment of Amarrian offices within Republic Space.
Dealing with the grief Kador grew to hate the Matari for what they had done to him, growing up to become like many typical True Amarr are like. Capricious, Arrogant, and Faithful. His first action was to swear himself, at the young age of 16, into the service of the Sarum Household after his graduation from the Theological Council Education facilities. He journeyed to Mehkios where he was assigned to the Youth Legions, and then on to the Sarum 6th Imperial Guard.
While the 6th was no glorious regiment of ancient histories, proud banners, and the subject of songs and admirations, Kador served admirably and rose to the lowest commissioned rank of Ensign. His Company was assigned with various roles, from the protection of Sarum Family members, the recovery of religious artefacts, and frontline combat against Matari soldiers in the warzones of the Bleak Lands. In this time his hate for the Matari was tempered, he came to realise that they were merely people, not some threat or lower class of people. Just humans doing what they thought was right. Though internally he thought they were misguided and foolhardy.
It wasn't until his Company's deployment to Ammamake that his story really began. The mission had been simple, recover the artefact the Theological Council said was present. Augmented by a command of Templars the Company touched down safely and established defensive lines while relic teams secured and brought up the relics themselves.
Caught in a surprise Matari patrol Sarum Guardsman drew attention to themselves and were soon after under attack by and entire Matari garrison. Unable to hold the lines, the Theological Council abandoned the Guardsmen to die. Kador was killed in action that day, but awoke some weeks later on a forward Amarrian compound hidden on Iesa III. This is where be both discovered he was now Immortal, and where he met Satja.

Name: Almighty DJINN Rampage
Age: 19
Sex: Male
Rank: Lieutenant
Jobs: AV Specialist, Logistics Officer, Squad Leader, Ground Support, Infantry, Espionage.
As one bearing the DJINN name, my power from birth was foresight. The ability to see into the future and calculate danger with enough time to change it's course. This was recognized by the gods as they sent me away to training at the young age of 2. Here i was sentenced to 14 years hard training with nothing provided. I was to fend for myself as well as endure 22 hours of training a day from the battle hardened Kira Lannister. As I grew accustomed to this lifestyle of training and hunting daily with no rest, i began to think of my family at home. my father a 30 year veteran of the caldari navy. This was a strict law against the DJINN way, as we had to be sworn to the gods and the gods alone. My mother also came into my mind. She was also a 30 year veteran of the caldari navy. I feared for them both. My 13th year had passed and i started to believe that i was going to make it through this alive and then it happened.
My superior officer at the time, DJINN Punisher, told me that the gods were angry at my parents and requested a meeting with me. I went very cautiously to their chambers. Upon entering the huge pitch black room voices started creeping into my head... it was mission. I was to take the first ship back home.. and murder my parents in cold blood. As a sworn member of the DJINN i could not refuse. at this point i arrived back home and greeted my parents with a smile. having not seen them since i was only a baby it was hard to recognize them. So as i pulled out my Balac's Gar-21 Assault rifle and lit up the house, i kind of smiled inside. the killer inside me was awoken and the fear of dieing was gone. i was officially a DJINN soldier determined to go to war and earn my stripes. |

Looks about age 18 but is an immortal soldier.
Refuses to let anyone close to him, mainly due to the fact that everyone he tries to connect with walks away and never returns, so he hates companionship and prefers to be alone.
In his early soldier years, he basically in part caused the battle of caldari prime, those in power who know of his existence want him dead, which is why he no longer plays part in any of the federations home relations.
Casual attire, hes never seen himself as high and mighty, nor has he ever thought anything good of himself. anyone that wears formal attire in his area is automatically a hated person for him.
He is a pilot originally and mainly, and on the sides when hes trying to make a profit from war, hes an assault.
Born in one of the higher up pure blood families within the Federation, he was surrounded by many people who had high expectations of him which made him resent being in the higher up and he wished for a more simple childhood and adolescence. Eventually he got through and became a tank pilot for the federal military but defected after many years of fighting for ideals he no longer believed in. he has no solid goals other than to be a critical part of new Eden's political population. He has no wishes, shortly because he doesn't believe in anything that gives spiritual meaning or a reward, hes lived too long to try and wish for something. He fears getting close to anyone because hes already tried it several times, only to be left in a deeper hole than he was found in, everyone he tried to get closed to either walked away or vanished never to return, so as a result, he promised himself that he would never try to open up to anyone ever again, he now 95% of the time keeps to himself only speaking when people ask him something, he keeps his personal and military life to himself. Hes nice, respectful, sometimes full of himself when attempting to joke, a good person to be around, hes generous, thoughtful and understanding, he doesn't mistreat anyone that has done him no wrong.
Only the sounds of battle are heard when fighting. |

(( there is much more, let me know if you want to hear it))
Upon his awakening as an immortal Kador was immediately struck by a melancholy, in his death he had realised two things. His Faith was shallows and selfish, he had thrown himself in combat for his own spiritual sake alone, not considering how he might better serve the empire or why he deserved to be immortal, and secondly that he had committed an irreconcilable sin in being clones. He had breached the codes surrounding the sacred flesh and was not worthy of God's love.
While on Iesa III he spent many hours in traning, combat on the ground, from dropships, and from mounted LAV. Here he met Arryn a man who would change his life, and Satja.
Arryn was his senior a Templar forged in battle and respected amongst the aspirants as a commander of reknown, however Arryn was assigned to the technical corps as a logistics officer and as such even in hearing of his Kador never met the man. Mid ritualistic work out in the outer ground of the gymnasium Kador began to notice the inconsistencies between one of the automated medium laser cannons on the facilities defence grid, caught trying to reprogram the console, he was vindicated in that he had improved its targeting efficiency. Impressed by this Arryn asked Kador to be reassigned to the engineering commands, which he accepted, as a mechanic and scouting engineer.
In doing so Kador spent much time around machines, which despite himself he could not bring himself to enjoy.
At night he would spend his time in the cells praying to the small effigies of the Saints and the Empress, begging God for forgiveness hoping that somehow he might be allowed to be redeemed. (More inbound) |

I decided to give Niina her own dossier:
Quote:Name: Niina Eskola Lai Dai Serial Number: 152643 Known Affiliations: Eskola Ergonomics, Caldari Steel, Lai Dai Megacorporation, Galm Fae, Guristas Pirates
Age: 22 Occupation: CEO of Eskola Ergonomics Height: 1.7m Weight: Refuses to have her weight taken. Doctors estimate roughly 60kg. Hairstyle: Swept shoulder length black hair. It is unclear if its apparent tendency to remain unkempt is a natural phenomenon or intelligently designed. Eyes: One Blue, One Dark Brown (Diagnosed with Heterochromia)
Place of Birth: Airkio VII - Moon 3 - Lai Dai Corporation Factory Race: Deteis Languages: Napanii, a variety of Lonetreck dialects
Defining features:
Facial nano tattoos in different geometric patterns. Tattoos trace down her neck before meeting at her lower back. Tattoo on lower back states her Lai Dai serial number. Pale, lightly freckled face constantly hidden behind her perpetually messy hair.
Overview:
Niina Eskola was born in a newer generation of tube children to the Lai Dai megacorporation. Minor defects in the breeding process led to a variety of subtle genetic mutations. Most are benign, including her heterochromia, double joined thumbs, and irregular menstruation cycles. Often however her genetic damage leads to health complications and illness.
The health complications proved to be more than the State funded orphanage she resided in could provide for her, causing her to experience episodes of drastic weight loss in the span of only a few days. Thankfully, her mutations proved to be her saving grace. Ilari Eskola, then an unmarried middle aged business man, entered the orphanage with the intent of finding a young boy to mentor and ultimately become his successor in life. When he caught a glimpse of NiinaGÇÖs two unusual eyes, however, he fell in love and adopted her as his own.
As she grew, Niina and Ilari became inseparable from each other. As the newly formed Eskola Ergonomics began to turn a profit, Ilari was able to pay to keep Niina healthy and well educated within the State. By the time she was a young adult, Ilari regarded Niina as though she were his biological daughter.
Their entire world came crashing down however when Eskola Ergonomics was found responsible for black market arms deals with Guristas pilots, who would pay the Lai Dai conglomerate he operated under by acting as privateers in low-sec space. To avoid facing further investigation, Ilari was turned over to State Provists without a fight. In one final act of love for his daughter, Ilari committed ritual suicide on the grounds that Niina would be left alone to manage what was left of his legacy.
Shamed and unable to operate a black market empire, she sold the majority of the corporation to a larger subsidiary within Lai Dai. No longer welcomed in the State, she retreated into the company of her fatherGÇÖs patrons in the Tenal region.
The money earned from selling her business however proved barely enough to keep her well medicated. She purchased a bar in the Shoashu Sasaanko spaceport to earn an income, but still had to subject herself to some of the worst services the universe has to offer so she could continue to afford to manage her frequent illnesses.
It was while living on this station that Niina found herself in the company of Galm Fae, an immortal mercenary and known terrorist. (Before their encounter, all records indicate Galm had gone MIA in the Kor-Azor Region during investigations of war crimes by the Seituoda Taskforce Command, his former employer.) It is believed that during their brief time together each had a prolific impact on the other. They formed a short lived codependent relationship that existed up until a rise in Gurista infighting in the region. Galm was forced to flee the station with the aid of fellow immortals in a nearby BetaMax fleet.
Recently the remainder of Eskola Ergonomics has been purchased and revived by Caldari Steel. The goal is obvious; rebuild a black market arms manufacturer to regain funds lost during Heth's rule. This has only worked in Niina's favor, allowing her to become the figurehead of the reformed company and leave Shoashu Sasaanko for greener pastures. While we can identify what products are being produced by market trends and intercepted shipments (biotic boosters, illegal copies of the outlawed GÇÿToxinGÇÖ series firearms, modified dropsuits, and Gurista outfitted armored personnel carriers) we cannot identify the source of these materials, where they are being moved to, or how frequently they are being shipped.
Note:
To this day, Galm values Niina as his ward. Any attempts to manipulate him should then be made by using Niina's safety as incentive for cooperation.

Despite my better judgement telling me that what I am saying sounds EXACTLY like what someone who has made a Mary Sue character would say... I'm going to have to disagree with you Adamance. Granted, even before posting this I wrestled with if I was overplaying her at all. (I gave her heterochromia, even I know that screams Mary Sue.)
Everything about her is completely justified in the Eve universe. I didn't go to any lengths to bend the world to fit her. Tube children are common for the deteis bloodline, and genetic damage is a real threat when you are using a biological mixing pot to make offspring. Moreover, Airkio VII - Moon 3 is a real in-game Lai Dai corporation clone factory. I didn't just make that up.
Look, I am fully aware of how OP she seems at a glance, but... Well lets just say when you are trying to sell a character you don't want to have its flaws out there on the tin.
I wouldn't say that either of our characters are Mary Sues. They just need time to develop. It is easy to judge someone at a passing glance, but frankly I find a lot more value in a character that slowly reveals they are less-than-perfect than someone who has no real depth and only one defining characteristic.
Having complex characters is what drives narrative. The only exception is in RP scenarios where characters can easily be defined with one singular character trait (the sniper, the veteran, the zealot, the mystical negro) and yet somehow seem clever and diverse in a group environment. But frankly, I find places like the IGS to be more of a staging ground for further fiction development than an end in itself. |

Don't worry, you shouldn't have to worry about that. Where Kador and your character share a protective bond, your female character can still fight. Niina's never been any good in a fight but commands a fair amount of autonomy from Galm. Hopefully soon I can shift that into my writing to show that off a bit.
If anything, I enjoy the parallelisms. It should be interesting seeing how we both go about putting different takes on the same archetype. |

I'll try to keep it short so that people may actually read it.
Name: Arston "Aero" Yassavi Bloodline: True Amarr Born: Sarum Prime V (Storm Planet with shielded cities) Current Occupier: PIE Inc
Bio: Arston Yassavi is the only child of Hersh and Arry Yassavi. Hersh, his father, was a big time player in an Amarr mining corporation and lived on this low class planet because of the minerals it has to offer. Life was harsh here, there were still grand cathedrals but everyone worked in labor. From the outside perspective, it was difficult to tell the difference between holders and slaves.
As a child, Arston was confused why he lived on such a low-class planet, having heard the stories of grand golden cities in the Empire. He consulted the book of records and discovered his family line dates back all the way to Athra, now known as Amarr Prime. Nonetheless, he accepted it. He worked as part of a cargo team, loading crates of mineral onto drone-shuttles which would then deliver the supplies to an orbital station above. The success rate of the drones wasn't particularly high given the stormy conditions, and Arston would also be apart of the salvage team that exited the city shields looking to recover what they could from downed drones.
One day while dropping off his salvage in a the hangar, Arston noticed an old cargo dropship once used before the implementation of drones technology. After quite a bit of convincing, Arston was able to convince the higher ups to let him try to manually shuttle the cargo through the storms to the orbital station. The stories of what he was doing and his success rate soon elevated him to the status of local legend, earning him the nick name "Aero," which he adopted as his primary name.
Upon the death of his parents, Aero begin to reevaluate his life. He was never too close with his parents, but they were the only thing keeping him on Sarum Prime V. Recalling his deep ancestry, Aero felt destined for a far greater life. He took his life savings and purchased a shuttle to the nearby planet of Mekhios and attended one of the finer Amarr educational institutions in the Empire. When Aero graduated, he entered a sort of religious high, one that has yet to fade away to this day. He quickly enlisted into the Amarr military, where he served as a grunt infantryman. After some time in service, he was ordered by the Empire to become part of a later generation of the Templar program, to become an immortal soldier, and was promoted to officer of a battalion of Kaimera, Minmatar soldiers raised from birth to elite soldiers for the Amarr. This was a title he took with great pride, as from his perspective there was little separation from the slave races and Amarrians, recalling his childhood.
Eventually, as many began to realize, direct employment by the Amarr Empire was insufficient for the immortals. Not that they did not provide everything the soldiers needed, but that they did not have the resources to take full advantage of their capabilities. Aero looked around for a new employer that could help him reach his full potential, but still desired to serve the Empire and the Lord. He was hired by Praetoria Imperialis Excubitors Incorporated (PIE Inc), where he resides now. He still keeps close connections within the Empire in his quarters at the Emperor Family Bureau on Mimen VIII. Furthermore, the move to an independent corporation allowed Aero to take away some of his emphasis on infantry combat and return to his knack for piloting.

So, after some thinking I have finally come to a conclusion on a bio that would satisfy me, it involves some questions. Feel free to ask your own too, but without further ado:
Name: Denak Kalamari (pronounced d-NAK Kha-la-ma-RI) Age: 32 at the time of cloning, turning 34 next year. Height: 6'3" Weight: 187 lbs. Hairstyle: Black, shaved mohawk Eyecolor: Brown Place-Of-Birth: Intaki V Race: Intaki Occupation: Mercenary, Grahisha for the ILF Nebyada wing Faith System: Mix of pantheism and the Intaki faith Ida, aka. the Way Languages: Intaki and Gallentean Appearance: Because I'm a lazy ass, you get a link here. I will say though that you can most often see Denak in a black vest, gray-ish t-shirt, black pants and boots.
General background story: Denak was born on Intaki V on March 10th YC82 as the single child to a family with deep belief in the Intaki faith Ida. During his childhood years he was far from the stereotypical quiet, reserved and thoughtful Intaki, often finding himself in fights with other children and sometimes even older teenagers. At the age of 16, he ran away from home, took a shuttle to the nearest space station and started to live his life as a runaway. To make a living and feed himself, he first started by smuggling boosters and other illegal goods in the Syndicate regions for a few years, and eventually as a hitman for the Intaki Syndicate.
He worked as a hitman for 15 years before he was captured during a Black Eagles raid to the Syndicate. To avoid spending rest of his life in a penal facility for a variety of crimes, he was given a deal to join the new clone soldier program for the Gallente Federation which he more than gladly accepted. Cutting all ties to his former life, he received a standard soldier training, got installed with the Sleeper implant and then started his career as a mercenary. Eventually he decided to join the Intaki Liberation Front to help his homeworld from the problems it struggled on a daily basis.
Questions:
Why did Denak run away from home? Honestly, there is no answer to that, Denak doesn't even know it himself. One day he had an argument with his father about the Way, leading to some property damage in the process by Denak. By the end of the day, Denak was simply fed up with life on Intaki, and ran away to catch the earliest shuttle to the orbital station, where he would further make his way to Syndicate regions.
Why did Denak become a mercenary instead of staying as a smuggler? Simply said greed. Denak wanted more money so he self-taught himself in martial arts and firearms and started accepting hit contracts. That worked for quite a few years before he was captured in a raid by the Black Eagles and taken into custody.
Denak has a scar on his right cheek, where did that come from? Denak accumulated the burn from an explosion that happened during one of his hit contracts during the early days of his career. Initially over half of his face was burned during the explosion, but since his rebirth as a clone soldier he decided to keep a burnmark on all his leisure clones, as the only memory of his previous life.
Why did Denak join the Intaki Liberation Front? OOC reason, because roleplaying opportunities! IC, Denak had mostly wandered through most of his career as a clone soldier, just going from contract to contract without any bigger goal or purpose to reach for. Simply put, he didn't find any purpose for his career, and by extension his life since retiring from a clone soldier profession is quite difficult. When he heard about the Intaki Liberation Front and the cause they fought for, he instantly identified with their struggles and signed up.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask! |

Hah! Nice! :)
Yeah I feel like Demel is a "playful" and "lascivious" version of me representing joy, emotion, and half or so of the human sins while Maximia is more "thoughtful" and "blunt" representing the seclusive, knowledgeable, and the other sins, not that I a creep irl, then again, I really doubt we'll know what each other actually are like in real life.
Just an idea, keep an open mind at what each other are like, your character can reflect who you are, but it doesn't mean it is you...

Hopefully you don't care for spoilers, but I still need to write down Galm's rise from an orphan to a full fledged terrorist. Right now I get the impression from others that while he can be an ass, he isn't that dangerous. I really want to show people that in the past Galm was a pretty harsh bastard, while still painting it in a light that would make you see it all from his point of view.
There are some secondary characters that will become more important later in my RP plans, and I plan on making a tie-in to the events of Templar One (hint, Galm was still a citizen of Mordu's Legion AND a Dragonaur during the time.)
Afterwards things are really going to brought to a head during his time in the STC. I don't want to quite share what happens then yet. For now it sort of works in my favor to just tell you "it was bad." |

Thing about your characters transition, and people have tried to comment on this but I have said the same thing to them. Its not hard to become whatever you want if you think you are doing the right thing. I suppose the question is did Galm think he was doing the right thing?
As for the danger thing. I tend to scoff at character that are Quote UnQuote "Openly Dangerous" it tends to be a form of over compensation. The scary ones are the ones that can just snap... like Niina seems to be telling Void about right now in the Summit halls. The kinds of characters you expect to be one way, but the slightest of rephrasing's of something proves you wrong. This is why Kador is not perceived as dangerous, he really isn't, because he doesn't ever truly doubt himself, one of the benefits of being a fanatic.
As for the Templar One..... yeah sure tying into cannon is a good thing, my CEO says never tie in cannon you cannot source IC (aka only cannon most people in New Eden Commonly know about) I just hope, and I know your wont, go over board with the canonical tie ins and over exaggerate Galm.

I get exactly what you mean about the aggression thing. A character who walks into a public area in a heavy suit and smashes babies with his face you can take (if you forgive the term) at at face value. But speaking with Ryeon made me realize that something that walks like a human, acts like a human, and seems at a glace human tend to become unsettling at best when there is just a slight twist that makes you wonder just how much of them you're seeing.
Galm's done some horrible things in his day, but the worst part of it all is that to this day it has never occured to him that he's been the bad guy in all of this.
Likewise, Kador lies at the opposite end of the spectrum. He is one of the most genuine characters in the summit and I want him to succeed! Can't wait to hear more from him.
And don't worry about the canon tie in. It would mostly be four chapters of Galm getting his ass kicked. |

Haha succeed? Not if I can help it. Making my characters suffer makes them much more interesting.
You basically summised the basis of all modern horror in that paragraph which is why zombie horror is becoming so popular in the mainstream.
Something looks human but at its core is invariably not human is terrifying, which is why the group Sansha's Nation is of particular interest to me in New Eden, not to join or support but because the face of it is so human, but the entity itself is horrific in nature, which means when someone stands up to it, and rails against it you can see real courage and dedication.

I'm sorry.... its just that those people did not deserve it, there is no justifying what the Blood Raiders did to them.
Hoarding the mercenaries and clones up to harvest blood, cutting the limbs from the mortals just to watch them bleed, torturing the slaves who couldn't run.... it was horrific.

Maximia Beflas' biography....sort of abridged
Height: 7'6" of very muscular build (Not extremely, but enough to seem like a body builder). not very busty though Blue Eyes Slight freckles on her face, but very few. Slightly tanned skin, but of peachy color Orange "ginger" short curly hair Has her traditionl Minmatar tattoo of a black bull with vector art like flames all over her left arm with Minmatar writing all the way up to her neck and left side jaw. Has a high voice and a slight slurred way of speech, doesn't enunciate as much as the average person.
Maximia Beflas was raised on a Minmatar planet, lived a traditional life, and had a very care free, "Happy-go-lucky" way of life. She didn't bother to work hard, and nothing really interested her other than sleeping, eating, boxing and lifting weights, rough housing with friends, and watching shows about daring pilots and their expeditions into the far out regions of space. It was her goal in life at that clueless, innocent youth: To join the pilots in their exodus, their odyssey of science and over the walls of the known worlds, into the storming tides of the unknown. After several job applications to aid pilots and exploration corporations, she had no luck on the such. It was until she found herself an opening in a company, composed of a group of privateers...or pirates. Maximia's size, strength, and devotion made her a great candidate for an oblivious hitman, as well as an easy prey for trickery. She worked in the hangars, counting cargo and organization, and as time passed she soared through the ranks and found herself as a squad leader of a hitman crew. She never ventured to the stars, but found pleasure in elsewhere, the horrid pleasure of sadism, to reap life and to pillage. Life had opened a back door for her, seeping with blood, the flashes of gunfire, the crying of the dying or the to be dead, and there she was, climbing the mound of corpses, bullets, and riches.
As all good things happen, all good things come to end. So was the same for her life as a pirate. She was targeted by a Minmatar defense firm and all of her group was imprisoned or killed, but her. She was notorious in her life and age as a 21 year old pirate with a copious 5 million bounty on her head, not much, but for a woman of her age was intriguing. The Defense firm wanted to tame the shrewd, which wasn't hard as Maximia wasn't the type to loose focus of standards, even as a pirate. She had always kept a clean room, a tidy dress shirt, a well kept hair, and a determined focus. She was given the ultimate of joining them as a new experimental group of test subjects or death. She chose the experimental route, she was too young to die for the spoils of thievery and the defense firm made sure of her success.
Few days later, she had awoken an immortal and trained as a pilot and a heavy soldier. She had taken a liking to the forge gun, with keen eyes and a steady grip, she could pick of soldiers a mile away, and her work with the sub machine gun was equally impressive. She had always been prone to charging due to her pirate instincts of instilling fear into the enemy, which doesn't exactly work when your fighting against immortals who don't have the same views as mortals. Maximia however had gained a reputation and a nickname as "the crazed *****" or "cannibal" as she ate the flesh of some of the dead enemies, howling and shrieking with laughter, again from her pirate ways of striking fear into the enemy.
The idea of striking fear was the same way she found Demel. Demel had been placing nano hives for his squad, right when Maximia hobbled in, spinning her minigun and splattering his squad- and Demel's legs, with a volley of bullets. Demel then found himself staring at the blood thirsty Maximia, snarling and hoisting him up in the air with one hand. All he could do was laugh and clap his hands. "So you're the person that my squads been talking about!?" He smiles and extends his hand out to shake hers. Maximia had never seen this casual attitude on the battlefield, she was fairly new to the whole ordeal, and she enjoyed the intriguing, androgynous voice and body of the petite mercenary. They talked about each other's life and quizzed each other about the way of a mercenary and their raison-d'etre. After some time, Maximia learned the first rule about Demel, he's sly and a sociopath, a good one too. He had shot Maximia in the heavy with her own sub machine gun after they exchanged information.
At a certain time, we all reflect on our past, and when Maximia came to that time, she remembered the tall girl she was, curled up with friends, dreaming of the future and the world beyond their senses that pilots sought to uncover. Where was she now, now that she was surrounded by bloodshed and bullets, constant death and rebirth, where was she now? She had to make herself something, to be someone,

She had to make herself something, to be someone who wasn't a walking battle machine. Thus, she decided to open a bar, a simple bar in the middle of a simple station where she took a sabbatical from the raging tides of war amidst the stars of space. She had also created a relationship with Demel, but Demel was always busy at work, and had issues of showing affection freely and openly. He's of a very interesting character and it isn't hard to see why somebody would be attracted to his nuances and ways, but he had another flip side to him as everybody does, and his other side, like an iceberg, was much larger and hidden from view. Their relationship ended, Maximia was heartbroken and upset, she had had relationships in the past, but Demel was like her and she felt a sense of unity with him, but he seemed to be a puzzle with the ability to fit with any piece, but never complete with someone else. The bar had failed too, she had usual fights with the customers, and news broke out of her notority as an ex-pirate. No where else to go but the way of the mercenary, Maximia had returned to the life style of death and rebirth, and no purpose was found.
Maximia continued her way until she found news of Demel's new company, Derringer Defenses. She gave a shot and applied for the job as a joke and an attempt to reconnect Maximia with one of her dwindling friends or loved ones, and was accepted without an interview. Demel was perhaps cold and unhearted, but he did know Maximia herself was a good accountant and coordinator, and Demel was not. They worked side by side, usually quietly, but as time went on Maximia and Demel grew closer. Just like Maximia, Demel had grown too. He had become a bit more expressive. "I've been living with so many Gallentians," He complained with a sneer, "They're just so happy and welcoming that it's contagious!". They soon grew close to each other again, but not to the point of a couple. They had learned to keep a distance between each other, but be open and fluid with each others warmth, and Maximia was happy with that. She hadn't exactly found purpose, or her life in the unknown of space, but she had made a little journey from a Matarian girl to a COO and CFO of a tiny corporation and close with a quaint Caldari "sociopath". She hadn't found her reason of being, but she found comfort in her current state, so perhaps she had no need for a reason to be, just to move along with the world and see where it'll take her. Move along with the changing rapids of the world, whether it be in comfort, or into the untouched.
Fun Facts and Stuffs about Maximia
Her name was supposed to be "Bel Fas" for a Matarian dialect meaning in a connotative sense "Beautiful face". Unfortuantely, her mother was dyslexic and misspelled a form when they moved to the planet Maximia was raised on. The more you know...((actually it was my fault, I realized it when I had gotten so close to adv heavy drop suits, didn't want to change it))
When she focuses, her eyes can move away from each other, but when she focuses they return to normal. Neat little party trick she has fun with.
She was diagnosed with Gigantism, but strangely she suffered none of the hampering symptoms one usually faces with gigantism when she was a mortal. As an immortal, all of her aliments were made void, or the ones that were impeding with combat.
Demel and her sleep in the same bed as they've known and been comfortable with each other to the point of it being acceptable even when not in a relationship, but it's usually her who pushes Demel off of the bed. Demel doesn't enjoy that. He usually only notices when Maximia climbs out of bed and accidentally steps on his back. This is common.
She tends to get into fights with people and doesn't enjoy calling people by "sir", "madame", "sire", "your dread lord" ((nobody says that anyway...)), or the like.
She usually wears a long sleeve shirt and slightly baggy nylon sweat pants. Sometimes jeans with two belts on ((cause she's a hipster like that)).
Her formal wear is a grey skirt and a formal white dress shirt with black lining. She usually wears as little makeup as possible and despises high heals.
She watches news a lot while petting Demel's hair while keeping him confined, against his will, to her lap. ((Demel doesn't like watching the news)) |

Point of clarification: Galm's hate for the Amarr is more or less a manifestation of his own self-loathing. He blames them for what happened to him in the STC. Just something to note, it isn't that I make a point of pickling on Amarr RPers just because they are Amarr and slavery is bad.

I liked the dossier style earlier.
File on call-sign: Heathen Bastard
Original name: {REDACTED}
Age of standard clone: approx 24.
Friends/family: Friends with Jakar Umbra, associates with DeadlyAztec11 on occasion, affiliation unknown
Enemies: Amarr(general, doesn't like them "picking on" the minmatar), Anything that threatens someone "innocent" in his eyes.
Standard attire: Heavy leather boots, Black pants, brown leather belt, Long, large-floral-print shirt(green) with lower buttons and top button undone for mobility, Leather long coat with large semi-geometric symbol on back. Half-back length light blue hair
Formal attire: Black leather shoes with sliver banding, black silk pants, Maroon shirt, Black patterned vest, Hair kept in ponytail.
Combat report: Tends to alternate between offensive styles(Primarily favors: Heavy vehicles, Pistols, and Heavy Machine Guns) Fairly weak on the support end of combat.
Early life: {REDACTED} was born to a fairly average family on caldari prime. Living near a caldari ghetto he quickly took to their ideals of fighting no matter the odds, and shortly after began causing problems in school by calling the teachers liars and getting into fights with the other students.
Coming home with a black eye and suspension notice quickly became the norm for his parents. His father(gallente, minor bureaucrat) slowly became cold and distant, wishing for a son whom he could be proud of, not some problem to defuse. His mother(caldari, possible ties to resistance fighters) saw a passion and began to show him old tools of war, bows, throwing knives, deception. He took to them like an amarrian to a gold plated ship.
Eventually, he was expelled after one fight too many, and his father disowned him. He was unsurprised by this, and only recoiled at being banned from the grounds. He quickly turned to a life of crime, using the skills his mother taught him. One day he chose the wrong mark. An unremarkable man, {REDACTED} was an active member of the Black Eagles, on leave at the time.
Coming to find his home ransacked, {REDACTED} set about tracking down the "punk" who did it. It took 3 days of searching, but eventually, {REDACTED} was cornered. Surveillance tapes of the area he was cornered in show his potential last moments. Staring down the barrel of a bolt pistol, he smiled. The agent seemed to like this and instead of executing him on the spot, merely knocked him unconscious.
When he came to, he was "asked" to join the black eagles at gunpoint. It can be assumed he accepted.
Past that, information is classified.
Approximately 1 year later the call-sign Heathen Bastard began to surface in clone contracts during Mordu's trials.
Assumed/stated goals: Find some worthy opponents, become someone his father can be proud of, keep being someone his mother is proud of. Maybe meet a nice girl and travel the stars, burning down anything that shoots first.
Fears: Only thing that seems to evoke a serious response is a threat to someone he cares about, or what seems like an unfair fight.
Qualities: Always trying to make a joke, Steadfast, sometimes bull-headed, tends to negotiate with violence as a first/second response, sometimes helps criminals if they're being ganged up on by security, Noted self as an "amazon chaser" occasionally talks to inanimate objects(his pistols primarily).
Has been noted humming the tune of "paper moon" as he inspects his pistols prior to battle.((specifically, a dubbed version. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-5fAz4rmOQ4))

thanks, and I just don't like them on a personal level, the gaudiness of their ships, the unchangeable religious views that always have to be right, and the whole being slavers thing.
I like the caldari because they at least seem like a meritocracy(in theory one rises as far as they can go, and people who don't perform get thrown out because they lead to losses for the company)
I don't particularly like the gallente because I've seen how well a democracy works((I live in america. we keep electing stupid ****heads with good slogans))
I like the minmatar because of the aesthetics(in rust we trust) and that they handle things like I do(ship's not good enough in a fight? make it faster and duct tape on some more guns! what's defense for if they can't hit you in the first place!)

The Story.
On a scientific exploration of a planet long forgotten through time and space, the DNA of several Spartan warriors were recovered from an ancient tomb in one of the Greek cities hailed as Sparta. The DNA was then isolated, researched, and finally reconstructed into clone form.
Scriptures and lore from the planet reveal that the race that had originally inhabited the world, had fled to this system, to escape the technology from their old world, that they feared would be the end of all life as they knew it.
They were a primitive species that excelled at the Art of War through crude methodology. They settled their differences with honor, and not by complete eradication of their foes.
This particular cities'' soldiers had been selectively bred over hundreds of generations to produce the most combat effective warriors their planet had to offer.
Though this was not enough, as their fears were brought to life when the weapons of mass destruction that they once fled to escape, had reached their new home-worlds' orbit.
Not having the adequate technology needed to defend themselves, their resistance was futile, and their race was annihilated swiftly, and without mercy.
Sparta, was the last city on the planet to fall to the tyrants great power. Not because of their battlefield prowess, but because the invaders had decided to use them as a mere punching bag to give their cloned infantry some experience for their next undertaking.
The invaders stripped the planet of all viable resources, leaving little or no evidence that life had flourished in this new barren wasteland. Then trekked back into the stars, with a sole mission to integrate the universe.
The newly cloned specimens were henceforth loaded unto a transport vessel, and prepped to be sent to the darkest region of Amar territory, for hopes of the great profit that may be obtained from them.
While en route to their destination, the transport was attacked and subdued by several rogue pirate ships, under contract by a recently freed slave race. Thus saving the clones from the eternity of slavery that they had been damned for.
The clones' saviors educated the Spartans of their past, and the story of how their world had been exterminated by the great war machine. Enraged, the Spartans vowed vengeance for their race, at any cost.
The Spartan clones, owing a great debt for their freedom, now live to serve their new masters with unfaltering loyalty, in hopes of achieving the one thing they had been bred for. Honor, which can only be obtained by defeating the most advanced and superior race in the known universe, and freeing the remaining slaves of their saviors, restoring their empire to its' former greatness. |

No offense, great story though, as Adamance said, you might get some flak. I'm willing to roll with the idea, it's a nice ode to Earth and I like the idea.
Yet my only concern is it doesn't talk about who you are. Who the character you rp as is.....you told the basic of your past, but what's your description? Walking around in a dropsuit in the middle of a population dense area isn't going to look good.
IGS is a place for clones to relax or live the life of a mortal just for a second in their immortal life. So, maybe talk about what you look like, your name or aliases, personality. What makes you different from the crowd?

But yeah we would like to know who you character is as opposed to what he is.
E.G- Leithe Askari my new Caldari Character is an undiagnosed depressive, lives apathetically like a shut in as a Disassociated Caldari citizen leeching off of the seedy underbelly of Caldari mega corporations. He is utterly uninspired and not motivated, but utterly brilliant at times. Neither possessing charisma or the will to follow blindly... he would naturally dislike Kador/True Adamance and consider the mans faith pointless. More often than not he takes civil security contracts and has a knack for breaking state security regulations which ensures to this day that he has not progressed up one corporate ladder or another. He lacks the sense of duty to be a true Patriot, nor is he callous enough to be a practical, and is not interested and mistrustful of the Ishukones liberalist stance..... he would be closest to a Patriot though if he cared enough about the day to day political struggles of the Megacorporations.

Alright, I decided to post the profile of my character, sorry for my english:
Name: Enkidu Camuel Age: 22 Sex: Female Race: Caldari Bloodline: Deteis Appearance:
-Civilian clothes / corporative: http://imgur.com/2EJbYY1
-Dropsuit: http://i.imgur.com/OyPhQVV.jpg (I made the mistake of drawing her with long hair, I'll fix it when I can)
Hair color: White Eyes color: Blue Skin tone: Light tan Personality: Cheerful spirit, intelligent and a little light headed, can get very angry easily and tends to be hostile towards another person before gradually showing her warm side over time (tsun tsun...)
Backstory: (part 1)
Enkidu is or was a member of the Camuel family, owners of the Camuel Shipyard Company (CSC) which is part of the many Caldarian military contractors responsable for the creation of battleships for the state, due to her important bloodline she grew up surrounded by luxury in the middle of a cold family which cared only for money and social status, when she was an adolescent she realized that she was a bird living in a golden cage, she didn't wanted to be another boring Caldari citizen but she didn't had much of a choice, much less when his father told her that he arranged her marriage with a total stranger, a convenient economic union between families... she didn't wanted to suffer the same the fate of her three elder sisters, being using as a mere social and politic tool was an insult for her, so that's why she planned her escape.
One night, using her hacking skills she managed to steal near three hundred million ISK, mere pocket change for her family but it was enough for her to start a new life, gathering her stuff she lied to her mother telling that she was going to buy new clothes at the local shopping mall, there she managed to decieve her bodyguards and finally without being watched, she took a taxi to the nearest spaceport.
Finally she was all alone in the huge terminal, but she knew that her father had enough power to close the entire area to cut off her escape, but soon fate was on her side when she met a Capsuleer, it was her first encounter with one of those immortal pilots outiside the inner circles of her family... after talking with him, he accepted to help her in the escape and before the orders of her father reached the spaceport, she was already in high orbit of her home planet aboard of a Tengu.
Days passed before she was dropped in a big space station close to the Sisters of Eve territory, that place was filled with many people from different races, she grew up knowing the fact the Amarrians were equals and allies for her, while Gallenteans and Minmatars were the enemy, she spend her first weeks in the space station among Amarrians and other Caldarians, but soon she realized that the groups were also getting along with the Gallenteans and Minmatars, there were problems every now and then but the atmosphere was nice enough for her and she decided to make that place her new home.

Backstory: (part 2)
She knew that she could live perfectly with all the stolen money from her family, but she wanted to have an actuall job for the first time of her life and earn money with her own efforts, soon she discovered that a Coporation was hiring new personel and she got a spot inside as a secretary, her job wasn't that exciting but it was well payed and everyone was friendly around her, she enjoyed peace for a while when one day she got called to a meeting in a space factory over a planet.
The meeting was going as expected when suddenly the factory was attacked by Sansha's Nation forces, the defense forces didn't had a chance against the soldiers of the True Power faction, most of the delegates died and just when everything was lost for her, she saw in the distance a group of soldiers wearing strange armors in the middle of a fierce battle against the invaders, the deadly spray of the enemy weapons was a mere summer rain for those warriors, there was just six of them... six of them were able to stop an invading force of elite soldiers from Sansha's Nation, their armors didn't had a single scratch and Enkidu was able to smell the smoke from their heated weapons... back at home, she heared rumors about the rise of the immortal mercenaries, the so called gods of the battlefield without fear of death, she was a witness of their power and flame was ignited inside her... then one of the soldiers walked towards her and extended his hand to get her up from the ground, when she touched the metal of his armor, her destiny was sealed.
Back at her home, she studied the mistery mercenaries in detail, she wanted to become one of them, she used her money for information about them and finally, she managed to contact one of the soldiers that helped her out, the young man was a little bit uncomfortable with the whole situation, but Enkidu was determined, he didn't wanted to help her and he closed the door of his house several times in front of her face, but she visited his house again and again untill one day...
-Seriously... this girl *he said while making a deep sigh* she just shows up and knocks my door... waiting for me to get out, it's been a week now since this started...
The man was watching Enkidu from the screen of his tv, hearing the sounds of the knocks and the door bell from his couch.
-I can kill her easily but... her eyes, she's full of determitation isn't? *he asked to himself*
The man scratched his cheeck and he looked to the ceiling of his house, then he made another deep sigh.
-Good grief...
After saying that, he stood up an walked to the door, then he opened it.
-Alright, I'm starting to get tired of this... but I know that you're not going to give up, damn, it's like that you have a crush on me or something.
After hearing that, Enkidu Blushed.
-You... you idiot! I'm not here because I like you, don't get the wrong idea! I'm here because I want to be a mercenary!
She was angry, but the man smiled, then he opened his door.
-Alright, let's talk.

(Arcs birth name is unknown to this day, even to himself it is a memory that he lost long ago being that he changed his name to Arc when he was only 8 years old)
* born to a wealthy family Arc never saw much of the people outside his family. Arcs' father was a famous historian, and his mother was a master minded scientist. Arc had the best education that could be offered, and his parents were very close to him unlike other wealthy children Arc always came first to his parents. He was told that in order to live a successful life one must look to both the past and the future for the answers.
*Arc grew up to be a Genius scientist just like his mother, but he only was as intelligent as he was because he went out of his way to study older scientists, even the ones that failed. Arc invented and discovered many things, most of which were not his own theories, but the theories of scientists that lived long ago. However when Arc first heard about the chance to become an immortal soldier he pounced on the chance.
*Arc used his massive wealth and bought the best training he could. Arc used his isk to buy himself into the cloned merc program, then went on a 10 year tour to all of the nations to learn the most efficient battlefield tactics and strategies. also during this time is when Arc gave himself many modifications, some using his own research and others he bought, these include his enhanced identical memory, facial recognition and reflex modifications (just to name a few)
*On and Off the battlefield Arc uses his extreme knowledge of both current and historical war tactics to excel on the battlefield. However one thing Arc still lacks is good social skills, even though he has greatly improved his social skills they still are lacking. But Arc more than makes up for it in his intelligence, and battlefield efficiency.
*Arc is a very calm person until the peace is disrupted. Arc fights so that this war can end, and the deaths of mortals can stop. Arc has a strong opinion against the Amarr, during his travels to the Empire, Arc saw firsthand the wickidness of the Vitoc drug on Matari slaves. Arc fights only for the Gallente and the Minmatar, those are his strong beliefs and he does not stray from them no matter what the circumstances.
*Arc always dresses in his very own syle, mixing in a casual look with expensive materials. Arc has a deep facination with wood, but odly enough dislikes the wilderness if he isn't in a dropsuit. If he could Arc would wear his dropsuit everywhere he goes, but he has learned that that is socially inappropriate.
*Arc is 32 years old, and plans on living for a long time
*Although Arcs intentions are all good, there is a dark secret that Arc has found in an old failed experiment, and managed to recreate for himself. Arc is a self made experiment and he is waiting for somebody to try and put the pieces together, and yet hoping no one will find out at the same time.

One problem Arc, clone tech has only been around for... eh, about three years. There'd be no way Arc could go on a ten year training tour after hearing about immortal soldiers.

The woman smiles at her companions question as they walk down the hangar platform.
"Immortal soldiers, Xad. As if capsuleers weren't bad enough...no offense"
"None taken," the man laughs. "Believe me, I know."
"In any case, Mordu's trials are a great cover. With the amount of media coverup, this is the best shot at getting real intel."
The pair reaches the end of the walkway, overlooking a large section of the stations hangar bay. Nestled in the docking ring in front of them is a Ares-class interceptor. The man leans against the railing and stares out over the enormous bay,
"I can't argue any of that, but I'm just...worried"
The woman steps up to the railing and puts a hand on his shoulder.
"They've worked the bugs out of the implants now, and they've stopped using sleeper ones. According to all we've seen, the data transfers should work just fine"
He turns toward her.
"And what if it doesn't? What if we can't get you back, and you're stuck like that?"
She crosses her arms and sighs.
"Worst case scenario, I'll still be ME, just...different"
"Yeah, in some freakish, genderless body".
"I KNEW you only liked me for my body!" she shouts with a grin. She looks down, and jokingly clutches her chest. "I think I would miss these, though"
"I'm trying to be serious."
"Well stop it," she curtly replies, "it's only stressing you out". A moment of silence passes, and she leans in toward the man, putting her arm around his shoulder. "Is this about the 'soul' thing?" she asks.
"No. Well, maybe...I don't know" the man pushes away from the railing and paces. "I know it's stupid, but I can't get it out of my head. Besides, we don't know how the informorph will handle the transfers. There's a lot of places this whole thing could fail and..." The man stares at her "and I don't want anything to happen to you."
She steps up to him, placing both hands on his shoulders.
"Nothing is going to fail. We've both re-checked the connections a hundred times". The man attempts to protest but she silences him with a finger. "If anyone is capable of handling any problems that might come up, it's you. Now, stop making this more difficult than it is."
She moves a hand to his cheek. "I'll be waiting for you to bring me back".
The Khanid woman begins slowly walking back toward the living quarters. "Now come on, lets get this over with so we can give Mordu his show".
The Gallentean man stares out at the traffic-filled bay for a moment longer, before following her back inside. |

DIS ****ING EPIC!
Nice job! Great diction! Yet....the problem is...this doesn't really belong here...sorry!
This is for a character bio, not a story- lovely story though. Bio as in a poignant, direct list of who and what your character(s) is/are, like, etc....
None the less, keep this. Just not the right place :).

Asoka "Deadly" Aztec-Alta+»r Usually known as "Deadly" Aztec
Born on an outer Intaki colony, in a village, as the son of the daughter of an Intaki chief and a Minmatar pirate/smuggler. Life on the outer colony was difficult and there was constant extortion by the neighboring pirates, and the authorities were corrupt enough to not do anything. Aztec's father, being a skilled leader and warrior, set up a militia of sorts. This kept the colony free of oppression. Though one day he left, left to free his sister from Amarr space and to free others. He was never heard from again.
His father gone the militia proved ineffective at protecting the village. Aztec had no options, until one day. A Gallante agent offered to give him the training and power he needed to keep his people safe. He accepted. Aztec was implanted by a Gallante copy of an Amarrian first generation clone implant. He was able to rid his village of the pirate threat, but it cost him.
He became plagued by voices, visions and blackouts, symptoms that were exasperated by federal experimentation on him. Also, he was not granted the implant for free, he was legally bound to be under observation by the Federation. He subsequently became a mercenary.
One of the oddest effects of his implant was that it caused him to forget how to speak. He suffered from this from several months until he was cured by a Khanid religious man. Aztec subsequently became a convert of an ancient order based off of the Amarr religion.
Aztec frequently mentions having served with Minmatar militants, under two tours.
-Half Intaki and half Brutor, Aztec has jet black hair and usually wears it naturally spikey and short while in a clone meant for combat. Though on his casual clones he has had his hair modded to be longer and white and on the verge of glowing.
-His civillian clone has no facial hair, though his combat clone has a shortly trimmed mustache beard combo, practically a shadow.
-He currently resides in Everyshore, under Federal authority.
-His eyes are dark brown, they look black most of the time.
-His skin is a very light brown, but becomes a dull pale in the cold and a dark red in the heat.
-His combat attire generally consists of either an Amor tanked Caldari Medium Suit or Minmatar Assault suit. His civillian clothes vary but it usually consists of a pair of rugged pants, a slim fitting shirt and an open jacket. His civilian clothes are usually characterized by dull blues, whites, greys navy blue, tans, dark red, as well as blood red.
-+ His interests include free running, a hobby he developed from his Federal training and while he was stationed among Minmatar militants. -+He is an avid fan of food and will try just about anything. -+Aztec is an avid inventor, but most of his inventions are far too impractical to be of any use.
A byronic character, Aztec is ever the anti hero, usually seeing the wrong in others while failing to see the consequences of his own actions. His multiple personalities also have various degrees of effect on his real self.

Well your bio doesn't need to be "I use the restroom twice a day, three times on the weekends, and when I'm at a buffet 4 times" specific (I mean...if you want). But if you're going to rp in the Summit, we're going to have to know what your char looks like, sounds, etc... but write whatever you want. Short version because the normal version probably can't fit in one post (There's a reason why he is the way he is): Graduated top of his class at the Federation Navy Academy, named one of the best tacticians to leave the school. After 2 years of working with the FDU, he was recruited by the Black Eagles (G-FDU Black Ops division. Espionage, sabotage, and assassination).
Got captured on a big job, was locked up for about a month, with 0 human interaction.*
Went 'insane', but a special type of insane. He seems completely sane 99% of the time, but everything he does, he does without reason. Every single move he makes, every person he kills, SEEMS smart enough that he's completely mentally stable, but in reality, he kills because he can. Part of it is his hyper-intelligence, the other part is just plain crazy. Part of this crazy compelled him to do some f*cked up things, such as being intentionally captured by a Caldari battleship, cutting the power remotely, and then killing off each and every one of them, for no reason. For every person he killed, he sent a file to the Caldari State's database, telling them when, where, and how he murdered them. This file also included name, age, and where the soldier's family lived.
Is now a Gallente criminal. Separate from any other pirating groups, but twice as dangerous. Every person that's sent to assassinate him is held back. He's smart enough to manipulate even the most dangerous assassins, to point the gun at their own head, mostly by showing them what he sees, and what he knows.
*Now, to explain what ZERO human interaction means. If you were to go a month without ANY physical interaction (With anything but the ground and air around you), you wouldn't last 4 days. On the 4th day, your mind is begging, DEMANDING that you find some kind of human, or lifeform, or anything really, that will keep you company. On the 5th day, your mind is struggling to maintain sanity, even making fake relationships with inanimate objects to satisfy the need for any type of lifeform. On the 6th, your mind starts to create a universe. This is exactly what Art did. He wasn't in there for 6 days, he was in there for 30. Not only did he have time to start the creation of a world around him, he had enough time to complete one. In his version of sanity, the Federation sent him there to kill him. A suicide mission. The Federation is an evil political super-power, hiding itself behind the mask of freedom and justice. This is why he fights the Federation. To end their "tyranic" rule.
TL;DR, Don't f*ck with Art, because he's crazy enough to slit your throat without a thought.

What he looks like: https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-TGL2VyMTD-E/UnRGvsTKLqI/AAAAAAAAACk/rAq6sCY5PI8/Xavier%252520Sorraine%252520-%252520ProfileMy EVE alt is pretty much Art, pre-criminal status.

My suggestion: a possible but very rare and minor tourettes syndrome, example inspired by a vine:

Just a joke :D

Galm Fae wrote:Now that this is in fiction, I can post.
Can I borrow that template, Fae?

Overview: Gemini 18 has had her memory wiped and has been indoctrinated into being completely loyal to the Gallente Federation. Whether she has had her memories wiped by her own free will or been forced to by some shadow corporation within the Gallente Federation for some Project none can say, except those that wiped her memories. Rather than recover her past memories Gemini 18 has refused to acknowledge her pass life and its existence.
Gemini 18 has a reputation for being relatively straightforward and incredibly harsh. For example Gemini led a full frontal Assault against a Well fortified Pirate facility which made a mockery against previous attempts. All but one prisoner was summarily executed after the successful operation simply to demonstrate the price of weakness.
Gemini 18 has fanatical hatred of weakness and physical frailty which has led her to make extensive you of bionics in order for her to purge her failing of her flesh. Bitter and Paranoid Gemini 18 trust's her Gear and precious little else.

Nice bio....one prickish thing to say......am I to assume...because I'm doing so now....that there was indeed an involuntary wipe by a Gallentean shadow corporation? You were kind of specific about that.
You have a very stable and respectable bio, you aren't shy about your alignment to the Gallente, you have a well formed back story which makes your character applicable and worthy of immortality, and you have some pretty detailed character designs.... only thing I would suggest, and I find this simply is just a popular character archetype....
Avoid trying to make your character an Amnesiac or the find oneself plot line.... its typically predictable and rather unfulfilling to RP to say the least. Your character is more likeable and more enjoyable to RP with when she knows where she has been, people can ask questions and you can answer.
I really like this character right now.

about the involuntary mind wipe i just added it to give a bit of mystery to the cause of the mind wipe i would have put other possible causes but couldn't think of any, and i want the reader to make their own decision as to the cause of the mind wipe i just wanted to throw a few idea's in there
i'm thinking about adding a plot line gradually which will lead to her getting disillusioned which will lead to her tragic fall from grace, but my aim to let the reader interpret certain things by giving them multiple idea's of how it happened and stuff |

Yeah and with a few really creative ideas you can make the knightly fall plotline something really intriguing....but then that depends on how you want to write the characters story.
I prefer much darker stories with my characters so I have a Templar who grapples with the darkest aspects of Amarrian cults and Sani Saabik scum and keeps on struggling through endless cycles of physical and emotional suffering, and a Caldari drug addict who was abused and made and addict by some very bad people, who continues his self medicationof Crystal X so he can function normally in his sick self haming drug fuelled vengeance against those who tore his family apart instead of simply killing him.

You know I do appreciate how hard it is to get into RP and while I respect your choice to RP however you want and in whatever way you want....... I find it hard to deal with and accept people who choose to RP the "Mysterious Background" Archetype.
And while there is nothing wrong with it, it sounds cool I guess...... its definitely not a fulfilling way to RP in my opinion. One of the joys of RP is creating and moulding that character you choose to channel and creating his story yourself. Some people choose to make their character and extention of themselves, others idealised version, other still something completely different and unique.
So I would say to you, if you would be willing to take my advice, I've done RP before, not so extensively as some others here on the forums but enough to know that yourself and other people will find the RP aspect much more enjoyable and exciting if you have a clearly defined character prior to opening so RP.
It doesn't mean you have to be an open book about your character but a rough idea of who he/she is can always be appreciated.
Not only that but I almost certainly guarantee you will like your own character more if you clearly establish your character, where they are going, what they want, what they did, why they did things.
E.G
Leithe Askarii (an alt of mine purely for RP) Bloodline:Civre Social Status: disassociated
Leithe is a known abuser of the stimulant drug Crystal X, has been self medicating for years after he was picked by CONCORD agents at a suspected Gurista's hide out in Lonetrek. Since then he has been in and out of State medical facilities, only surfacing to get prescriptions of anti depressants and do the occasional security work for small regional police forces.
Now if you asked Leithe about his life he would say
"You have the earn that right"
You can still play it mysterious but give your fellow RPers a little bit of info about your character with little trouble. And personally I find that the more open some RPers are with me about their basic character info the more open I am with them IC. Whereas those who have less information about them.... I am wary around.
Also I suspect you were in Dead 6 at one point from the Dead 9 Assassins comment....am I right?
EDIT- Yup I was right. Both in Knightz of the Round and Dead Six during the Lokun Listamenn days.

I have his experience with Heth's purge really well planned out, but I'm not sure if I should share them now or hope I can someday find time to get there in Warrior Nine.
By the way, the next part is coming soon, like by tomorrow. It's going to be fairly short, but that is because it is a lead-in to a much larger one I am working on.

Demel Derpovsky wrote:Spartan MK420 wrote:The Story.
Name: Spartan Age: 25 Aliases: Brother Dude, The Mad Repper. I love Grimdark....have you read about Leithe Askarii yet? ....Damn I never got the chance to post through Kador's lore to get to the Siege at Raa IV..... or his hunt for the renegade Templars only to find a cabal of them twisted and broken by a True Citizen, or the Return to Iesa III where he and a number of allies are engaged in a 3 month long campaign against the blood raiders..... so much Grimdark... would require probably about 12 full posts in this thread of sum up all of Kador's lore.......

Just drop those here in the Fiction Section. Most player written character lore is here somewhere or another.

So much more.... perhaps we should consider reformatting this link, tidying it up, and posting links in the OP to the main lore of each character.

I don't know that I'm really going to spend much time in the IS forum but I do like to write so I figured I'd give it a go. It's more of a bio-sketch and pretty brief, my knowledge of the lore is not super deep so I can only take it so far. Feedback is definitely welcome.
There's some family backstory I have worked out but won't put here to keep things short. The TL;DR version is that we have a long and storied military tradition even by Khanid standards, with major contributions during the first reclaiming resulting in our being one of the first several Khanid families to be granted Holder status. We have straddled the line between the Khanid kingdom and the Empire proper as we did not completely agree with the decision to secede but felt it unwise to voice that opinion openly. Thus we stay as outwardly neutral as possible. My characters father is the designated heir to the title of Holder.
Bio:
Name: John Demonsbane
Age: 40
Race: Amarr/Khanid
Rank: ((taking suggestions))
Appearance: tall, slender but muscular, with wavy black hair and dark eyes.
John is the grandson of a Khanid Holder, currently fourth in the line of succession. As with all his forebears, he was born and raised to become a pious military officer, which, along with his noble birth, gives him more than a hint of arrogance - a lot more, some would say. After a relatively short but highly successful career in active duty, he took a commission as an instructor at one of the most prestigious military academies ((if anyone has a name of one please suggest it)) in the Khanid kingdom. He taught courses in both traditional military tactics as well as counter-insurgency and asymmetrical warfare. The guiding principle he teaches his students is "The mind is a soldier's greatest weapon."
He immediately realized the value of the new drop uplink technology and was one of it's early adopters/proponents, and became more involved in direct military operations once again. However, in his new role as a more senior officer, spending 99% of the time in a command ship overseeing the operations from above became stale. Having heard rumors about the Templar program from the Commandant of the academy, he looked more into it. With more stable tech and the end to the use of sleeper implants, John volunteered to be implanted so as to better serve God and the Empire (and get back onto the battlefield personally). This violation of the doctrine of sacred flesh greatly angered his grandfather Lord Demonsbane, and it remains to be seen if he is removed from the line of succession altogether.
John is capable but not gifted with handheld weapons, and spends much of his time using the tactcal map to shape the flow of battle to his side's advantage instead of directly confronting the enemy, in line with the principles he taught at the Academy. Staying just behind the vanguard in a secondary position, watching the enemy forces fall, their battle strategy in tatters, is more satisfying than delivering the killing blow himelf. While naturally preferring the overwhelming force doctrines of the Amarr, when necessary he applies the asymmetrical techniques he learned studying the Minmatar (and more directly from some Caldari that he trained as a a miltary advisor.)
As a tactician who previously spent most of his time overseeing the fight from above, John is cold and calculating in battle, showing little, if any, emotion. The combatants on both sides are nothing more than pieces on the board to be moved (or removed), an attitude only reinforced by nearly a year of dying over and over again himself.
With the threat of death gone, war is but an intellectual exercise.

I didn't consider that, however his actual hairstyle is more like a Commander Shepard. I have another pic to update that.
