((this is an OOC suggestion for the Intergalactic Summit or "IS". Everybody who uses this thread knows they have an "OC", original character. But nobody really knows who that character is other than yourself. Maybe even you don't even know who that character is, so this thread is dedicated to get other people, not characters, to get to know your character a little deeper. Like background, origins, family upbringing and virtues. And many a snippet of their life that was humorous or something. Whadya think? When people approve and write there's below this one, or....something else, then I think we can make it official
BTW, this is OPTIONAL, want you character to be shrouded in mystery? Don't add him or write very little about him. At least write what they look like
Don't know what to write?
Here's some ideas, but not restricted to the follow, and of course all of them are OPTIONAL: What age does he/she/ze look like? Does he/she/ze have an close ones, loved ones, relatives? Who are he/she/ze's enemies? What's he/she/ze's usual, casual, or formal attire? Is he/she/ze a logistic, assault, commando, heavy, scout, pilot, etc...? What are his/her/zer background, goals, wishes, fears and qualities?
So....interested?)) |

Ah what the hell. I'll start.
approixmate age of standard clone is 24, long reddish hair, blue-green eyes.
not any more. just some friends, and we kill each other on a fairly regular basis.
Basically, the amarr as a whole, slaving bastards, the lot of them.
Normal attire is black pants with green flower petal designs, over natural leather boots, shirt is patterned black with angular markings that fade into spirals near the end, Long coat, inside lined with silk, exterior is leather, waxed, with my corporation's symbol on the back and the words "No Luck" written under.
Pilot first, duelist(assault with a pistol) second, heavy machine gunner distant third.
Family was lost to the "reclaiming" years ago. Shoved me into a shuttle and preset it for the nearest gallente refugee center and set it to warp the second it was out of the bay. Raised as an orphan I never once forgot the symbol on that ship.
Made all the wrong kinds of friends, ended up being given an ultimatum one day, shape up, or they'd ship me off world to some dead-end janitorial gig on a clone's ship where I'd probably die in a week. I took the third option of becoming an immortal by running, and fighting my way across half that city.
Ended up caught, sitting in a cell wondering if they'd kill me or just ship me off to die when a man walked up to my cell and offered release papers in exchange from some minor medical testing. Figured I was good as dead, and maybe even end up being able to escape from whatever facility they put me in.
Next thing I know, I'm waking up on a medical table being told to "remember why you fight, child. If you lose yourself for even a moment, you'll die" before I could even think on what that meant, there was searing pain, every single neuron in my body catching fire at the same time the last thing I remember seeing was that damned symbol again.
as soon as it had started it was over, I was inside some kind of tube, voices asking if it was a success. they kept saying that the subject had died, that it was a failure. I knocked on the glass to make some noise, my arm was too long and ended up going straight through. Scared the hell out of all those scientists.
They put me in a suit, handed me a gun, and said that I was immortal. Then on my first deployment, I met a tanker who really inspired me to fight.
The pistols come from back home, with my friends, they were simply the easiest things to get past sensors and reassemble later.
My goal is to find my family, or maybe one day take my crusade to the stars and hit the amarr right where it hurts.
I fear that I won't be able to save them, that I've taken too long and those fiends have taken their hearts from them, stolen their souls.
and as for qualities? I don't back down from any fight I deem necessary, though, I do try to avoid killing without reason. I am typically rather pessimistic, and I keep all kinds of things in my pockets. |

Will Post but Kador and Satja's lore is more of a saga than some standard background.
It ranges from his Death, to his troubled sense of Faith, to the loss of his allies on Iesa III, then on to the Siege of Oyeman where he was so psychologically scarred he cannot stand in the wide open air anymore, then on too his induction into PIE, the conflicts on Raa, his dealings with Father Camdem's abduction, the horrors of Sansha's nation, and then up to this current day. |

Demel Derpovsky's story and description.
Demel was always of a "more womanly" appearance, having a similar somewhat androgynous appearance. He is shorter than an average mercenary , being around 5'8''. Having a slender body, long dark brown hair that goes down to his middle back with some shorter bangs that sweep downwards and to the side of his face in a "bed hair" manner. His face is feminine with his charming cat like eyes with longer than usual lashes and a petite mouth. His cheeks though are masculine, despite their smooth and 'baby skin" face. He usually has a "sly" or "suspicious attitude due to his natural personality of being manipulative and his urban survival instincts from his gritty industrial "cyberpunk" home.
He doesn't have any relatives, I mean he does....but...he doesn't talk to them anymore after becoming a mercenary. Although he does have friends, mostly comprised of other mercenaries and the occasional civilian or pilot. He does however have an interesting relationship with Maximia Beflas, his coworker and ex-girlfriend.
Maximia and Demel met on the battlefield as enemies, had a chat, and later on exchanged information after finding interest in one another....before Demel shot Maximia in the stomach with his scrambler rifle, giving the clone's killing blow. They met up, dated, got into a relationship and all was good. Yet Demel was too manipulative and prefered to be more independent than Maximia, something she didn't want, and Maximia was often caught cheating due to the fact that she just, in her words "can't settle down". They split up and didn't talk to each other for some time. Later on, Demel formed "Derringer Defenses" as a small corporation, a little hobby and dream of his. Maximia though, broke contacted Demel about her situation, and was eagerly accepted into the corporation. Maximia being good with numbers and organization, dealt with finances and appointments for Demel and herself. Demel whoever, being more meticulous and cunning, did the "entrepreneur" work and was the figure of the company. They ended up having a relationship again, sleeping in the same mercenary quarters, but they prefer to be "coworkers and friends with benefits" than in a relationship, both of the comfortable with the idea. Just recently, Demel having a large amount of education in engineering and marketing, began creating covert and small "non-lethal" or "self-defense' civilian weapons, despite the guns being purchased by "gang-bangers" and thugs, they continue to sell the weak and quaint weapons, making a small, but healthy profit. Although, this is more of Demel and Maximia's hobby and "play-time". Demel draws the blueprints, Maximia tests and manufacturers the exports.
Demel was born from a Caldari mother and a Minmatar father, who lived on a remote gritty and industrial planet to escape the grip of the factions.

Now that this is in fiction, I can post. This is what I would consider a top-down view of Galm from the point of view of CONCORD. Yet despite the fact that he claims to be an open book, I think it is safe to say that there are still certain aspects of Galm that alludes even CONCORD eyes.
Quote:Preliminary CONCORD Report CONCORD Mercenary Dossier
Name: Galm Fae Known aliases: "Pixy", "Pixie", "Warrior Nine" Known affiliations: Former Mordu's Legion citizen, ex-member of Templis Dragonaurs, Seituoda Taskforce Command operative, Guardian Solutions military consultant Occupation: Mercenary (trained in light assault, engineering, and piloting) Height (Baseliner): 5' 8" Weight (Baseliner): 165lb Hairstyle: Bronze, medium length, dark stubble Eyes (Baseliner): Hazel Place of Birth: Mordu's Legion HQ Station, 5ZXX-K V - Moon 17 Race: Intaki-Civire Languages: Napanii and extremely limited Intaki
Faith: An eccentric belief he has dubbed "The Caldari Trinity" that borrows different aspects from Achuran spirituality, Intaki Ida, and the Caldari Way.
Overview: Galm's father was a long-time member of Mordu's Legion, having served under Mordu during the Waschi Uprising as a Caldari paramilitary. It was during this conflict that he met Galm's mother, an Intaki refugee. The two married in time, but were constantly kept apart because of contracts and difficult family issues. It wasn't until he accepted a desk job at Legion HQ that he was finally able to start his family, only to be tragically cut short.
Both of Galm's parents were killed when a bomb destroyed a tramcar filled with civilians. It is believed the terrorist responsible was a rogue Dragonaur determined to assassinate a former Gallente war criminal regardless of the collateral damage. Wrecked by guilt due to their inability to control their agents, the Dragonaur sleepers on the station executed the rogue terrorist to prevent compromising their operations and sheltered the young boy until they felt him old enough to reveal their true identity to him and formally welcome him into the Dragonaurs. Galm proved to be a valuable agent, feeding information of the Legion's involvement in the cluster to State Provosts right under Muryia Mordu's nose. Operations came to a halt however after a failed attempt to intercept a nuclear bomb leaving Mordu's Headquarters. Accounts very as to how exactly Dragonaur involvement came to an end in Pure Blind. Top analysts doubt if operations ever ended at all and insist Galm still holds close ties with former Provists across the cluster despite various contradictory reports.
Forced into hiding, the remaining Dragonaurs guided Fae into the Caldari State were he joined up with the STC as a candidate for the State's immortal soldier program. Galm continued as a member of the STC until a botched mission in the Kor-Azor Region, causing him to desert the Taskforce and drift around the universe for an extend period of time.
Eventually, he wound up competing in Gladiator matches in a Gurista spaceport, were the remaining mercenaries of BetaMax signed him onto the newly formed Guardian Solutions.
Note: Psychological reports suggest a history of dementia due to faulty implants and boosters. Long term damage might have an effect on overall mental health, but no investigations on the matter have been organized. |

Since I have to I'll describe them here.
Name: Kador Ouryon Age: Cloned 28, Biologically speaking he is 37 Rank- Templar Crusader Social Status- Praetorian Templar, Citizen Political Status- Aligned with House Sarum, Religious Reformist Appearance- Kador is of medium height with official estimates placing him between 5'10" and 6'. His hair cropped short, and is a dark shade of brown much like his eyes, he has an aquiline nose, thick eye brows, and well defined Amarrian features, (much like what you could consider an ancient roman to have had). He is slightly stockier than most Amarrian males, well defined and enhanced musculature, his physique is more that of a brawler than a runner. Quirks- Intense Agoraphobia
Name Satja Askarin Age: 22 Rank- No official military rank Social Status- Slave (Serving Templar Crusader Kador Ouryon) Political Status- Aligned with House Sarum, Anmatar Sympathist Appearance- Thin and lean by all standard. Satja is stringy, but in a muscular manner, in a manner many people might consider unattractive, she is by no means a galactic beauty, though under the right light her face takes on a life of its own. She has cascading raven black hair, full lips, with skin darker skin that is rich sun swept ochre. Her lips are full, on an almond shaped face, wide eyes, long lashes. What perhaps defines her more these days is how she wears her hair, it heavily favours her right, the long cascades covering the right shoulder and back, the left side being entirely exposed. This is due to her scarring from her younger years on Iesa where Kador saved her pulling her back to the shuttle during a blood raider attack. Quirks- Hates the sight of blood and suffering, feels a compulsion driven by her own scars to help in field hospitals.
Kador was Arkborn, a term for an Amarrian born aboard one of the Ark Class Carriers of the Empire. While is father Erdaeran Ouryon was serving the Empire abroad as a merchant sailor for Imperial Arms Shipping, Kador and his mother Anyithia, spent their days peacefully in the Sarum Prime System. At the age of 12 Kador's father was the victim of hate crimes within the Minmatar Republic while acting as a foreign dignitary, and was beaten to death by a gang of protesting Brutor Tribe, against the establishment of Amarrian offices within Republic Space.
Dealing with the grief Kador grew to hate the Matari for what they had done to him, growing up to become like many typical True Amarr are like. Capricious, Arrogant, and Faithful. His first action was to swear himself, at the young age of 16, into the service of the Sarum Household after his graduation from the Theological Council Education facilities. He journeyed to Mehkios where he was assigned to the Youth Legions, and then on to the Sarum 6th Imperial Guard.
While the 6th was no glorious regiment of ancient histories, proud banners, and the subject of songs and admirations, Kador served admirably and rose to the lowest commissioned rank of Ensign. His Company was assigned with various roles, from the protection of Sarum Family members, the recovery of religious artefacts, and frontline combat against Matari soldiers in the warzones of the Bleak Lands. In this time his hate for the Matari was tempered, he came to realise that they were merely people, not some threat or lower class of people. Just humans doing what they thought was right. Though internally he thought they were misguided and foolhardy.
It wasn't until his Company's deployment to Ammamake that his story really began. The mission had been simple, recover the artefact the Theological Council said was present. Augmented by a command of Templars the Company touched down safely and established defensive lines while relic teams secured and brought up the relics themselves.
Caught in a surprise Matari patrol Sarum Guardsman drew attention to themselves and were soon after under attack by and entire Matari garrison. Unable to hold the lines, the Theological Council abandoned the Guardsmen to die. Kador was killed in action that day, but awoke some weeks later on a forward Amarrian compound hidden on Iesa III. This is where be both discovered he was now Immortal, and where he met Satja.

Name: Almighty DJINN Rampage
Age: 19
Sex: Male
Rank: Lieutenant
Jobs: AV Specialist, Logistics Officer, Squad Leader, Ground Support, Infantry, Espionage.
As one bearing the DJINN name, my power from birth was foresight. The ability to see into the future and calculate danger with enough time to change it's course. This was recognized by the gods as they sent me away to training at the young age of 2. Here i was sentenced to 14 years hard training with nothing provided. I was to fend for myself as well as endure 22 hours of training a day from the battle hardened Kira Lannister. As I grew accustomed to this lifestyle of training and hunting daily with no rest, i began to think of my family at home. my father a 30 year veteran of the caldari navy. This was a strict law against the DJINN way, as we had to be sworn to the gods and the gods alone. My mother also came into my mind. She was also a 30 year veteran of the caldari navy. I feared for them both. My 13th year had passed and i started to believe that i was going to make it through this alive and then it happened.
My superior officer at the time, DJINN Punisher, told me that the gods were angry at my parents and requested a meeting with me. I went very cautiously to their chambers. Upon entering the huge pitch black room voices started creeping into my head... it was mission. I was to take the first ship back home.. and murder my parents in cold blood. As a sworn member of the DJINN i could not refuse. at this point i arrived back home and greeted my parents with a smile. having not seen them since i was only a baby it was hard to recognize them. So as i pulled out my Balac's Gar-21 Assault rifle and lit up the house, i kind of smiled inside. the killer inside me was awoken and the fear of dieing was gone. i was officially a DJINN soldier determined to go to war and earn my stripes. |

Looks about age 18 but is an immortal soldier.
Refuses to let anyone close to him, mainly due to the fact that everyone he tries to connect with walks away and never returns, so he hates companionship and prefers to be alone.
In his early soldier years, he basically in part caused the battle of caldari prime, those in power who know of his existence want him dead, which is why he no longer plays part in any of the federations home relations.
Casual attire, hes never seen himself as high and mighty, nor has he ever thought anything good of himself. anyone that wears formal attire in his area is automatically a hated person for him.
He is a pilot originally and mainly, and on the sides when hes trying to make a profit from war, hes an assault.
Born in one of the higher up pure blood families within the Federation, he was surrounded by many people who had high expectations of him which made him resent being in the higher up and he wished for a more simple childhood and adolescence. Eventually he got through and became a tank pilot for the federal military but defected after many years of fighting for ideals he no longer believed in. he has no solid goals other than to be a critical part of new Eden's political population. He has no wishes, shortly because he doesn't believe in anything that gives spiritual meaning or a reward, hes lived too long to try and wish for something. He fears getting close to anyone because hes already tried it several times, only to be left in a deeper hole than he was found in, everyone he tried to get closed to either walked away or vanished never to return, so as a result, he promised himself that he would never try to open up to anyone ever again, he now 95% of the time keeps to himself only speaking when people ask him something, he keeps his personal and military life to himself. Hes nice, respectful, sometimes full of himself when attempting to joke, a good person to be around, hes generous, thoughtful and understanding, he doesn't mistreat anyone that has done him no wrong.
Only the sounds of battle are heard when fighting. |

(( there is much more, let me know if you want to hear it))
Upon his awakening as an immortal Kador was immediately struck by a melancholy, in his death he had realised two things. His Faith was shallows and selfish, he had thrown himself in combat for his own spiritual sake alone, not considering how he might better serve the empire or why he deserved to be immortal, and secondly that he had committed an irreconcilable sin in being clones. He had breached the codes surrounding the sacred flesh and was not worthy of God's love.
While on Iesa III he spent many hours in traning, combat on the ground, from dropships, and from mounted LAV. Here he met Arryn a man who would change his life, and Satja.
Arryn was his senior a Templar forged in battle and respected amongst the aspirants as a commander of reknown, however Arryn was assigned to the technical corps as a logistics officer and as such even in hearing of his Kador never met the man. Mid ritualistic work out in the outer ground of the gymnasium Kador began to notice the inconsistencies between one of the automated medium laser cannons on the facilities defence grid, caught trying to reprogram the console, he was vindicated in that he had improved its targeting efficiency. Impressed by this Arryn asked Kador to be reassigned to the engineering commands, which he accepted, as a mechanic and scouting engineer.
In doing so Kador spent much time around machines, which despite himself he could not bring himself to enjoy.
At night he would spend his time in the cells praying to the small effigies of the Saints and the Empress, begging God for forgiveness hoping that somehow he might be allowed to be redeemed. (More inbound) |

I decided to give Niina her own dossier:
Quote:Name: Niina Eskola Lai Dai Serial Number: 152643 Known Affiliations: Eskola Ergonomics, Caldari Steel, Lai Dai Megacorporation, Galm Fae, Guristas Pirates
Age: 22 Occupation: CEO of Eskola Ergonomics Height: 1.7m Weight: Refuses to have her weight taken. Doctors estimate roughly 60kg. Hairstyle: Swept shoulder length black hair. It is unclear if its apparent tendency to remain unkempt is a natural phenomenon or intelligently designed. Eyes: One Blue, One Dark Brown (Diagnosed with Heterochromia)
Place of Birth: Airkio VII - Moon 3 - Lai Dai Corporation Factory Race: Deteis Languages: Napanii, a variety of Lonetreck dialects
Defining features:
Facial nano tattoos in different geometric patterns. Tattoos trace down her neck before meeting at her lower back. Tattoo on lower back states her Lai Dai serial number. Pale, lightly freckled face constantly hidden behind her perpetually messy hair.
Overview:
Niina Eskola was born in a newer generation of tube children to the Lai Dai megacorporation. Minor defects in the breeding process led to a variety of subtle genetic mutations. Most are benign, including her heterochromia, double joined thumbs, and irregular menstruation cycles. Often however her genetic damage leads to health complications and illness.
The health complications proved to be more than the State funded orphanage she resided in could provide for her, causing her to experience episodes of drastic weight loss in the span of only a few days. Thankfully, her mutations proved to be her saving grace. Ilari Eskola, then an unmarried middle aged business man, entered the orphanage with the intent of finding a young boy to mentor and ultimately become his successor in life. When he caught a glimpse of NiinaGÇÖs two unusual eyes, however, he fell in love and adopted her as his own.
As she grew, Niina and Ilari became inseparable from each other. As the newly formed Eskola Ergonomics began to turn a profit, Ilari was able to pay to keep Niina healthy and well educated within the State. By the time she was a young adult, Ilari regarded Niina as though she were his biological daughter.
Their entire world came crashing down however when Eskola Ergonomics was found responsible for black market arms deals with Guristas pilots, who would pay the Lai Dai conglomerate he operated under by acting as privateers in low-sec space. To avoid facing further investigation, Ilari was turned over to State Provists without a fight. In one final act of love for his daughter, Ilari committed ritual suicide on the grounds that Niina would be left alone to manage what was left of his legacy.
Shamed and unable to operate a black market empire, she sold the majority of the corporation to a larger subsidiary within Lai Dai. No longer welcomed in the State, she retreated into the company of her fatherGÇÖs patrons in the Tenal region.
The money earned from selling her business however proved barely enough to keep her well medicated. She purchased a bar in the Shoashu Sasaanko spaceport to earn an income, but still had to subject herself to some of the worst services the universe has to offer so she could continue to afford to manage her frequent illnesses.
It was while living on this station that Niina found herself in the company of Galm Fae, an immortal mercenary and known terrorist. (Before their encounter, all records indicate Galm had gone MIA in the Kor-Azor Region during investigations of war crimes by the Seituoda Taskforce Command, his former employer.) It is believed that during their brief time together each had a prolific impact on the other. They formed a short lived codependent relationship that existed up until a rise in Gurista infighting in the region. Galm was forced to flee the station with the aid of fellow immortals in a nearby BetaMax fleet.
Recently the remainder of Eskola Ergonomics has been purchased and revived by Caldari Steel. The goal is obvious; rebuild a black market arms manufacturer to regain funds lost during Heth's rule. This has only worked in Niina's favor, allowing her to become the figurehead of the reformed company and leave Shoashu Sasaanko for greener pastures. While we can identify what products are being produced by market trends and intercepted shipments (biotic boosters, illegal copies of the outlawed GÇÿToxinGÇÖ series firearms, modified dropsuits, and Gurista outfitted armored personnel carriers) we cannot identify the source of these materials, where they are being moved to, or how frequently they are being shipped.
Note:
To this day, Galm values Niina as his ward. Any attempts to manipulate him should then be made by using Niina's safety as incentive for cooperation.

Despite my better judgement telling me that what I am saying sounds EXACTLY like what someone who has made a Mary Sue character would say... I'm going to have to disagree with you Adamance. Granted, even before posting this I wrestled with if I was overplaying her at all. (I gave her heterochromia, even I know that screams Mary Sue.)
Everything about her is completely justified in the Eve universe. I didn't go to any lengths to bend the world to fit her. Tube children are common for the deteis bloodline, and genetic damage is a real threat when you are using a biological mixing pot to make offspring. Moreover, Airkio VII - Moon 3 is a real in-game Lai Dai corporation clone factory. I didn't just make that up.
Look, I am fully aware of how OP she seems at a glance, but... Well lets just say when you are trying to sell a character you don't want to have its flaws out there on the tin.
I wouldn't say that either of our characters are Mary Sues. They just need time to develop. It is easy to judge someone at a passing glance, but frankly I find a lot more value in a character that slowly reveals they are less-than-perfect than someone who has no real depth and only one defining characteristic.
Having complex characters is what drives narrative. The only exception is in RP scenarios where characters can easily be defined with one singular character trait (the sniper, the veteran, the zealot, the mystical negro) and yet somehow seem clever and diverse in a group environment. But frankly, I find places like the IGS to be more of a staging ground for further fiction development than an end in itself. |

I meant to say, not that she was not unique or OP only that somehow we both ended up using the same character archetypes and relations ships for our female characters.
I probably did not express that very well. |

Don't worry, you shouldn't have to worry about that. Where Kador and your character share a protective bond, your female character can still fight. Niina's never been any good in a fight but commands a fair amount of autonomy from Galm. Hopefully soon I can shift that into my writing to show that off a bit.
If anything, I enjoy the parallelisms. It should be interesting seeing how we both go about putting different takes on the same archetype. |

The other way around, but I get what you mean. It wouldn't be too far of a stretch though. From a writers perspective I can really appreciate that though. For how similar we are, consider for a moment how often Galm and Kador are at odds with each other.
In a sense, we are opposite sides of the same coin. |

I'll try to keep it short so that people may actually read it.
Name: Arston "Aero" Yassavi Bloodline: True Amarr Born: Sarum Prime V (Storm Planet with shielded cities) Current Occupier: PIE Inc
Bio: Arston Yassavi is the only child of Hersh and Arry Yassavi. Hersh, his father, was a big time player in an Amarr mining corporation and lived on this low class planet because of the minerals it has to offer. Life was harsh here, there were still grand cathedrals but everyone worked in labor. From the outside perspective, it was difficult to tell the difference between holders and slaves.
As a child, Arston was confused why he lived on such a low-class planet, having heard the stories of grand golden cities in the Empire. He consulted the book of records and discovered his family line dates back all the way to Athra, now known as Amarr Prime. Nonetheless, he accepted it. He worked as part of a cargo team, loading crates of mineral onto drone-shuttles which would then deliver the supplies to an orbital station above. The success rate of the drones wasn't particularly high given the stormy conditions, and Arston would also be apart of the salvage team that exited the city shields looking to recover what they could from downed drones.
One day while dropping off his salvage in a the hangar, Arston noticed an old cargo dropship once used before the implementation of drones technology. After quite a bit of convincing, Arston was able to convince the higher ups to let him try to manually shuttle the cargo through the storms to the orbital station. The stories of what he was doing and his success rate soon elevated him to the status of local legend, earning him the nick name "Aero," which he adopted as his primary name.
Upon the death of his parents, Aero begin to reevaluate his life. He was never too close with his parents, but they were the only thing keeping him on Sarum Prime V. Recalling his deep ancestry, Aero felt destined for a far greater life. He took his life savings and purchased a shuttle to the nearby planet of Mekhios and attended one of the finer Amarr educational institutions in the Empire. When Aero graduated, he entered a sort of religious high, one that has yet to fade away to this day. He quickly enlisted into the Amarr military, where he served as a grunt infantryman. After some time in service, he was ordered by the Empire to become part of a later generation of the Templar program, to become an immortal soldier, and was promoted to officer of a battalion of Kaimera, Minmatar soldiers raised from birth to elite soldiers for the Amarr. This was a title he took with great pride, as from his perspective there was little separation from the slave races and Amarrians, recalling his childhood.
Eventually, as many began to realize, direct employment by the Amarr Empire was insufficient for the immortals. Not that they did not provide everything the soldiers needed, but that they did not have the resources to take full advantage of their capabilities. Aero looked around for a new employer that could help him reach his full potential, but still desired to serve the Empire and the Lord. He was hired by Praetoria Imperialis Excubitors Incorporated (PIE Inc), where he resides now. He still keeps close connections within the Empire in his quarters at the Emperor Family Bureau on Mimen VIII. Furthermore, the move to an independent corporation allowed Aero to take away some of his emphasis on infantry combat and return to his knack for piloting.

So, after some thinking I have finally come to a conclusion on a bio that would satisfy me, it involves some questions. Feel free to ask your own too, but without further ado:
Name: Denak Kalamari (pronounced d-NAK Kha-la-ma-RI) Age: 32 at the time of cloning, turning 34 next year. Height: 6'3" Weight: 187 lbs. Hairstyle: Black, shaved mohawk Eyecolor: Brown Place-Of-Birth: Intaki V Race: Intaki Occupation: Mercenary, Grahisha for the ILF Nebyada wing Faith System: Mix of pantheism and the Intaki faith Ida, aka. the Way Languages: Intaki and Gallentean Appearance: Because I'm a lazy ass, you get a link here. I will say though that you can most often see Denak in a black vest, gray-ish t-shirt, black pants and boots.
General background story: Denak was born on Intaki V on March 10th YC82 as the single child to a family with deep belief in the Intaki faith Ida. During his childhood years he was far from the stereotypical quiet, reserved and thoughtful Intaki, often finding himself in fights with other children and sometimes even older teenagers. At the age of 16, he ran away from home, took a shuttle to the nearest space station and started to live his life as a runaway. To make a living and feed himself, he first started by smuggling boosters and other illegal goods in the Syndicate regions for a few years, and eventually as a hitman for the Intaki Syndicate.
He worked as a hitman for 15 years before he was captured during a Black Eagles raid to the Syndicate. To avoid spending rest of his life in a penal facility for a variety of crimes, he was given a deal to join the new clone soldier program for the Gallente Federation which he more than gladly accepted. Cutting all ties to his former life, he received a standard soldier training, got installed with the Sleeper implant and then started his career as a mercenary. Eventually he decided to join the Intaki Liberation Front to help his homeworld from the problems it struggled on a daily basis.
Questions:
Why did Denak run away from home? Honestly, there is no answer to that, Denak doesn't even know it himself. One day he had an argument with his father about the Way, leading to some property damage in the process by Denak. By the end of the day, Denak was simply fed up with life on Intaki, and ran away to catch the earliest shuttle to the orbital station, where he would further make his way to Syndicate regions.
Why did Denak become a mercenary instead of staying as a smuggler? Simply said greed. Denak wanted more money so he self-taught himself in martial arts and firearms and started accepting hit contracts. That worked for quite a few years before he was captured in a raid by the Black Eagles and taken into custody.
Denak has a scar on his right cheek, where did that come from? Denak accumulated the burn from an explosion that happened during one of his hit contracts during the early days of his career. Initially over half of his face was burned during the explosion, but since his rebirth as a clone soldier he decided to keep a burnmark on all his leisure clones, as the only memory of his previous life.
Why did Denak join the Intaki Liberation Front? OOC reason, because roleplaying opportunities! IC, Denak had mostly wandered through most of his career as a clone soldier, just going from contract to contract without any bigger goal or purpose to reach for. Simply put, he didn't find any purpose for his career, and by extension his life since retiring from a clone soldier profession is quite difficult. When he heard about the Intaki Liberation Front and the cause they fought for, he instantly identified with their struggles and signed up.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask! |
