A logi that does his job always gets my thanks as a heavy because they keep me going and I tell them stay behind me and we will push through I think Logi's do not get enough credit they have become rare.......

Now days seeing a rep tool is almost a novelty I run a commando suit as a Logi which is actually fun as hell I may not be able to carry all the toys they do but always have fun and get few kills they biggest thing is if you see the gold around your screen don't run off take a knee behind cover and let them do their jobs.

There was a time when having a backpack on your suit meant something.

Hard to do our jobs when we get destroyed in battle extremely fast due to lower HP and the bright yellow paint job doesn't help one bit, and then when the people we are protecting die were screwed since we can't even run away fast enough or pack enough firepower to clear out enemies to revive you. Maybe you should do your job better that way I can do mine.

Yea, we saw what you did when you were given additional HP. You said "screw everybody else, im'a run my own program!"

Ever since I took an arrow to the knee all I can do is Logistics.

It's not that people stopped logi-ing, it's because it's more effective to have an extra gun.

With triage nanohives, you can rep and have a gun on the field at the same time. Nanohives and drop up-links are self explanatory. Additionally, with the proliferation of Mass Drivers, revives are increasingly un-doable.

You're logibro's aren't gone, they're just waiting for some good logi and passive bonuses.

I'm a Cal Logi, sure I had to drop my Dovall to maintain decent links, hives and a rep tool, but I never should have been able to fit it to start with, now if I could just survive a single M1 blast I might still be useful.

First off, remember that at least 1/2 the people you see on the warbarge before the match never planned to use those suits for their intended purpose.

As for me, I want to, I really do! My KDR is crap and I only get maybe 5-10 kills a game because I spend most of the match dropping hives/links. It's just tough to justify spending the extra CPU/PG on a repper when I can:

A) Get the job done just as well with an armor hive
B) Get more WP (aka bang for my buck) with uplinks, and
C) Do no actual repairing and then get killed half the time I'm trying to use the damn thing because suddenly my rotund buddy stops taking damage because everyone sees the yellow "shoot me" sign. The stupid wheel makes it impossible to switch out fast enough!

Logi is a tricky role to fill, the good ones can be found doing 0-10 with 2-3k wp, the ones that perform offensively without playing their role do usually less than 1k wp.

I'm a 'Logistics', not a medic. My role is to think, plan and provide support; even if that 'support' means wrecking opponents.

The problem with logi's comes down to move speed and hp imo.

Give me a ck.1 variant that swaps the light weapon for sidearm and give me the same base start hp as a basic suit with 0.2 more move speed and ill run around and logi all day. Even sneak in a few kills with an ishukone assault smg while im at it.

I might repair more people if they didn't run away from me.
I might revive more people if they didn't instantly suicide.
I might resupply more people if they didn't run in large circles around my nanohives
I might give more people a place to spawn if they didn't completely ignore my drop uplinks.

Moral of my QQ story? Maybe there would be more logibros if logibros weren't all ignored.

Here's a list of things reg players NEED to do for Logis to be able to be a bit more effective.

-VOIP in team channel
-when you see those yellow suits and you know damn well your armor has 1 less hp or more wait for him, he/she is most likely trying to catch up to you.
-Stay with your squad!
-Heavies when being healed take cover, else I'm just going to keep reviving you till you learn. it gives me more wp and helps me try to keep your suit up so YOU can defend me!
-When you need a heal and have asked for one through VOIP.. don't be the idiot that says "hey you heal me i'm over here" Tell me where you are and who you're talking to
-Move infront of your logis! I'm not capable of taking on a squad of 2 or more, that's your job.


Several times i will run an assault suit with a rep tool and heal people near objectives that have forgotten to heal up at a supply depot. Logis try out the support weapons like MD, Pcan, Flaylock, Flux. Your offensive role is similar to that of a heavies, to weaken enemy defenses for the frontliners all the while increasing your teams defenses.
