Only 6000 SP for earning 1700 WP? Are you ******* kidding my? I earn in regular matches around 5000 SP with less then 1000 WP and you call this a "2x SP event"? I call it bullshit! Why? Well, the only way for me to get the double SP from my regular SP which is 5000SP is by purchasing a active skill booster. This way, and only this way I could have had around 10K SP after the 1700WP match. You told us, that you don't double the passive SP in a match, only double the amount of SP which you get from WP to punish or prevent the AFK people. Well guess what!? There is still a crap ton of people afk in the mcc or on the field not moving! The only people you have punished are the one without a active skillbooster, and that is the ugly truth! TL:TR it is only double SP if you use active skillboosters.

Sorry, but trying to "force" people out of AFK won't work, especially when you now get a whopping 2 SP per WP instead of 1. Try making the game more fun to play so we won't want to AFK instead of trying to brute force us out of the MCC.

Sometimes it would include raising the amount of SP earned as well, which would cause you to cap out at about the same rate as if the cap hadn't been touched at all. During the 3x SP event, they tripled the weekly cap, but also tripled the amount of SP earned. Now, it'll take more than a day to grind it out, which I think is good. If I had known that, I would've bought a booster for tomorrow, as I can't play all through the night tonight as I'm helping friends with a show. That means I'll be going outside. We know what outside is............................................... right?

Well they's stated clearly that only gained SP from WP are doubled, so you can do your own math. If you make 1000 WP, you'll gain an extra 1000 SP from this bonus event. The boosters certainly work as usual on top of that.

The VERY clear and understandable reason they did this was because, assuming you weren't using a booster, you got 3400 SP for your WPs and 2600 passively for your body being in battle. If you wanted the 2600 to also double, or to double instead, then you would get 5200 SP from sitting there and still just 3400 (or just 1700) from doing a really good job in battle. So unless you were doing INCREDIBLE 75% or more of your SP would just be passive. This would lead to anyone who just wants to get the SP and doesn't care about playing, to just AFK.**

The thing is: Me and my RL buddies dated this event, we talked to our women to have a day off to play together. We are pissed and offline now. One buddy was even pissed at me, because it was my idea to meet online today. "Bla bla bla I could be out with my kids at the park now bla bla bla". Like its my fault.

I earned 5638 SP, I started my timer as soon as I saw the map appear (I assume thats when it starts counting SP) I threw down 5 Uplinks using my Logi suit, I got 325 WP. But with the time spent in the match + My 325 WP + the 2x bonus, I should've gotten well over 6k SP. But instead I earned 5638 SP. Did I start the timer too early, or are we really getting 2x SP?

Otherwise the gap in reward for doing well is too great. I'm okay with SP being somewhat passive. But there are a variety of definitions of 'passive'. You could get 3 SP passively. Then also: +1 SP/s per objective you can see on your minimap (w/in 100m) +1 SP/s per red-dot on your minimap up to +3 SP/second.

Why would anyone think double SP weekend means something other than double SP without a catch? I was kinda excited about getting some games in this weekend like with the triple SP weekend. Now it's just kinda like eh, I'll get a few extra SP. Not enough to majorly skill up something I want.

Good news theres thousands of others out there to play. The continuous promises of new content and updates along with a long term roadmap has me hooked. I can't think of any other console game that has updates every month, or one that has planned support for the next decade. I'm biding my time for when all of the good and fun stuff come along. When it does, I'll have all the SP I'll need to fully enjoy it from day one (c'mon pilot suits). Until then, the SP system would nonconsentual sex me for leaving, so I'm forced to AFK until the game gets interesting, then play with all my ("hard earned") SP.

They are trying to encourage you to play and you a basically spitting in their faces for the extra SP. You should just save the energy and install the games from your PS3.

See this is the major cancer that is affecting this games success.....we cant reward good players appropriately because then bad players will feel bad about not doing well. Therefore we will make this game equal among all groups. No matter how well you do you will get the same amount of SP as the ret@rd who had his thumb up his butt for the entire game. rewards for doing well should be significant so that you strive to do better and better for the increased rewards...as it stands AFKers get even better rewards than ppl who play.....they can do other things while they are gaining SP....and they dont risk any isk at all. Making a game take 10 hours of play time minimum to cap out for a week is just rediculous and creates the "grind" effect......now this week its a 20 hour grind. I hope you guys have fun grinding.... I will probably afk at least some of it but I dont know if I can even bother AFKing for 20 hours.

I have to AFK twice as longer but its all good. Instead of afking 2 days a week, this week I have to AFK for 4 days. Not bad huh?
