They may be the most powerful, but it takes a great deal of skill to hit a moving dropship with one. Also, putting a forge gun detector on a dropship would make it even easier for them to dodge it.

maybe there should be different levels of red and blue, like personal and corp. It would be the difference between "I don't want this guy on my team" and telling all your friends "I wan't him dead, I want his family dead"

You would thing shooting a high explosive shell filled with shrapnel at high speeds would be incredibly damaging to a ground unit. Also, consider making some kind of flak/machine gun installation
