Lets face the facts were all mercs who want to get paid. So why not allow players to receive contracts by different corps with different prices on then that allow corps access to a player for a period of time until thier contract expire. Realy its a Dust version of the NFL drafts. People who watch football will know exactly what im talking about. |

I like this, mercs from a different corp can already go into another corp's corp battle if they're brought in by being in the same squad. |

some kind of contract system will be implemented. But a kind of draft system would be cool. Corps try to be the highest bidder on good soldiers. Sounds pretty awesome. |

There could be a off hire list/wall/what ever and you post the price you'll work for and the highest payer gets you. So the higher ranking players or people from good corps can set a high price and if the buyer really wants the win they'll pay. Plus you'll earn like a 3% bonus on Isk and sp the end of the match. |

Another idea! What if players that have contracts get a symbol beside their name or profile that shows their value as a merc. possibly starting with a star as the lowest attention while a skull with crossbones is the highest level |

I like the sound of the idea but I'm not sure how well it would work in practice. In order for this to work there would have to be enough corps playing corp battles that need players to maintain a mechanic like this. And that's not including the high prices it will cost to get decent mercs for your team.
It's not a bad idea, I'm just not certain there's much of a demand for hiring mercs for corp battles. When PC arrives, I can definitely see a bigger need for this, but I would prefer that they implement it for corporations rather than individuals. |

I completely agree with you. It should only be for corps |

Heres an idea... Recruit good mercs to your corp and you wont have to worry about sub-contracting. Even if you do have noobsters in your corp, I'm pretty sure that once the game is released, you will know who the good guys in your corp are and who the bad guys in your corp are. Makes friends.... Good friends.... Friends that like to kill enemies. Have them join your corp. Problem solved. No need for any screwy drafts.
