I think that you having to pay to have a custom character fixed up after it dies is just insane. The same applies to vehicles. It is very costly to set up a custom character and if it dies you have to spend a fortune just to be able to use it or the vehicle again. I think this is wrong and it makes the game no fun having to use the basic, free, characters since they can not stand up to a fully armed opponent. It is already hard earning enough money to buy the weapons and suit upgrades, but having to do it each time that character dies makes the game no fun and only generates problems both in the short run and the long run. I am very unhappy that Dust 514 uses this and think it should be removed from the final version of the game. I have had no fun at all having my custom character die and then being unable to use him until I can save up enough to use him again. And using the free builds makes the game unfair for those who are only average level of skill in gameplay or not very good. |

mate...just what.
Run cheapfits untill you earn some money. If you cant kill, its your own bloody fault, not the game. As for what I can read inbetween the lines, you're not killing, wanting to run expensive gear and vehicles...
I'm beginning to think this is a troll post. |

Here is some advice:
Buy in bulk, you'll rarely have restock. Don't use what you can't afford to restock, and unless you're regularly using advanced and prototype level gear, you should make more than enough ISK to restock it. If standard level gear is too expensive for you, then only use militia grade stuff (go to the "militia gear" section of the market) Rename your fittings to add a price tag, so you'll know which ones are too expensive to lose, and easily calculate profit from ISK reward and value of items lost. |

The whole focus of this game is that death and loss of gear have a tangible toll that exists beyond everyone's precious K/D. It's what sets Dust apart from other multiplayer FPS games, one of the core mechanics that makes Dust what it is.
If you are not ready for a risk/reward FPS that goes way beyond K/D and leaderboards, you may wish to look elsewhere because that is the heart and soul of this game. |

Use starter fits in instant matches to gain money, then use the money to create a little nest egg of high lvl gear. |

The mechanics of the game allow players to use or not use expensive modules/dropsuits. Unfortunatenly this is not a proper feedback or request hence I am locking this thread. Please read the FORUM RULES.
Thanks.
