the flaylock and massdriver server their purposes. the laser, plasma cannon, and hmg (i know the hmg balance is coming) should get balanced to bring them back into play. if one swarm and one av grenade killed you... you shouldn't be driving a tank.

you're more likely to see: stasis webifier (slows a target down when applied to an enemy) tracking distrupter (increases bullet spray) target painter (increases a suits sig radius making it much easier to hit) things of that nature.
